TSA to Block "Controversial Opinion" on the Web
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is blocking certain websites from the federal agency's computers, including halting access by staffers to any Internet pages that contain a "controversial opinion," according to an internal email obtained by CBS News.

The email was sent to all TSA employees from the Office of Information Technology on Friday afternoon.
It states that as of July 1, TSA employees will no longer be allowed to access five categories of websites that have been deemed "inappropriate for government access."
The categories include:
• Chat/Messaging
• Controversial opinion
• Criminal activity
• Extreme violence (including cartoon violence) and gruesome content
• Gaming
The email does not specify how the TSA will determine if a website expresses a "controversial opinion."
There is also no explanation as to why controversial opinions are being blocked, although the email stated that some of the restricted websites violate the Employee Responsibilities and Conduct policy.
The TSA did not return calls seeking comment by publication time.

So there you have it, the slow and steady approach of the oligarchical collectivist reality that those who call themselves 'progressives,' would have you believe is simply progress for the greater good.

Read carefully. Then go back and re-read the words and the warnings of those like George Orwell or Ayn Rand for that matter. It's all there. They told us what would come to pass, they just couldn't do it other than obliquely through novels.

With the beautiful Atlantic Ocean whitecapping out my hotel window on Fort Lauderdale Beach this fine American rock 'n 'roll summer morning, the only thing more beautiful is my handsome, oh-so-utilitarian Glock Model 20, 10 mm semi-auto pistol and 12 loaded high-capacity magazines sitting on the little table next to me. I am such a man for all seasons. Can you say cocked, locked and ready to rock, doc?

If anyone thinks for one minute that I am waiting for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg or anyone else to give me the green light to practice the religion of my choice or to speak my individual mind or to write what I damn well please in song or on the pages of newspapers, magazines or websites, he has another painful thing coming.
Heads up, black-robers. I am in charge of my life, survival, thoughts, statements, writings, religious practices and, without a shadow of a doubt, my God-given individual right to keep and bear arms to defend myself from evil in any shape or form. With all due respect, I see and know clear and present evil in tyranny, dictatorships, emperors, kings, despots, slave drivers and the history of abuse of power. And I defy it out of hand.

Like many real Americans across this great country, while we are relieved and pleased with the McDonald v. Chicago ruling of five Supreme Court justices, I am appalled that any clear-thinking human being, much less an American sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States, could possibly believe that individual Americans have no right to self-defense. That four of the nine justices believe this is a monumental indictment against the very precepts of the American experiment, the premise of God-given individual rights and a cruel bastardization of our sacred U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

"To keep" means it's mine - you can't have it. "Bear arms" can only mean one thing: I've got some on me right here, right now. "Shall not be infringed" also needs no interpretation, unless you just don't get it. Get it. And get it right.

Go and read the entire article, then consider what Ted is saying and what these current times represent to our future and that of our children.

He is right America. It's time to get it and get it right and get it real damn quick, or there will be hell and blood to pay. Enough to flow to the horse's reins it is written.

Patriotism before a paycheck

As we sit down to feast and relaxation on this day........ remember them.

Remember that this is a day of not just a day of celebration but it is also a day of remembrance. This is a day when we should all take a long look back at those who have gone before us and paid the price and the regular installments on our freedom. Those that have gone on before us.

These payments were made long ago at places like Concord and Lexington, then again at Antietam and Gettysburg. Once more at Bella Wood and on the cold sands of Normandy and on the black sands of Iwo Jima.

More payments still at the frozen Chosin and while sweltering in Khe San. And in innumerable unnamed villages across both Korea and Vietnam. And too today....we again make payments on an account that never ceases or is ever marked paid in full.

They make those payments today in more of those strange and far away places with even stranger sounding names. These new places of debt collection are in Iraq and Afghanistan. Places where other brave and patriotic souls continue to lay down their lives and the grim reaper continues to take their bets and mounts the odds against them.

So just remember.....There are many little big men and women who have gone before you and paid what was owed on a never ending account. There are many others who continue today, to walk up to that table of life and stare down the dealer of death, while wagering their lives for yours.

So that you and I would be able to enjoy days like today. And all that is asked of those who have laid so precious a gift on the alter of freedom?

Is that we remember them and the sacrifices that they have made for us.

So remember and honor them.....it's the least we can do.

The politics of straw dogs and liberal branding

If there is one thing that you can count on from liberals, the minute they run out of defense or argument for their weak and shallow positions on anything, they immediately descend into their entrenched defense of long standing. "Brand the other guys Nazis!"

I am sorry, but this dog eared argument is so stale and repetitive, that they have even come up with a contemporary term for it. It's called Godwin's law. As any discussion of politics grows longer, the probability of a liberal comparison involving Nazis or Hitler becomes an absolute certainty as their last line of defense.  

Enter one VP Joe Biden into the fall fund raising fray..........

Vice President Biden is out with an alarmed e-mail cash appeal warning that the GOP will mount a “blitzkrieg” against Democrats in the fall.

Comparing GOP tactics to the fast-striking forces of Nazi Germany, Biden warns in a message sent by the DCCC today: “As things heat up, you can expect House Democrats will be hit with a GOP blitzkrieg of vicious Swift-Boat-style attack ads, Karl Rove-inspired knockout tactics, thinly veiled attempts at character assassination and tea party disruptions.”

Something that hasn't been done yet, is the establishment of another law. Very similar, but different. Call it "swift boat branding" or "Kerry's dilemma. But the principle is the same, just a different angle. Anytime a democrat feels threatened by a conservative or a republican use truth and historical facts and record to oppose a liberal democrat in an election? And immediately the liberal cries fowl and claims that they have been "swift boated."

Please............

And the other tools in the kit of the average out of facts and ill prepared liberal? Rove, Cheney and Palin. Those three represent the 'axis of evil' to all committed liberal 'progressives.' When all else fails hang a dark cloud of Rove or Cheney or Palin over your argument and represent them as sinister forces and champions of the rich and big corporations. 

Of late, the most recent liberal boogie man and the one they are becoming more and more vile about in their attacks daily, is the Tea party. Their favored tactic of attack on the Tea Party seems to have been to attempt to associate them with either Nazis or militia groups. 

Just the same, the tactics always remain the same. Attack, demonize, brand. Then retreat and smirk like the petulant children that they really are.

“Our Democratic allies in the House need your help, and the President and I hope we can count on you to come to their defense so we can hold onto our Democratic Majority and continue moving American forward in a new direction,” Biden writes in the appeal.

I'll bet he does hope that they can continue to move forward. Of course Biden and the rest of the democrats will be a little thin on the details of benefits that their journey is taking this country. and he won't tell you that he and the rest will suddenly take left turns and veer away right before the collapse and calamity that they are steering this country to.

The news from the congressional budget office yesterday demonstrated the real truth of what is going on in this administration.  It now takes 60% of our GDP to pay our rising debt and America presently is in deeper than we were during WWII. Meanwhile Obama continues to spend the money that this nation doesn't have like a house afire, wile continually finding new ways to spend more and create more debt.

And yet we have the literal village idiot (Joe Biden) out there stumping and looking like the smiling bafoon that he is and there will be millions of Americans who will buy their tripe.

Yep, go right ahead Joe.  What is it that great gaffer from Washington always says? Oh...I got it now......"God love him."
