Yesterday was the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the American civil war. As a reflection upon and recognition of that, Senate majority leader Harry Reid decided to make a poignant notation on the floor of the senate yesterday.
By purposeful act and designed omission, I believe he made his point. I hope that his intent was not lost on most Americans.
