Jay Carney explains "the ritual of Washington'
"The president wasn't there, I mean he didn't speak for another twenty minutes, he didn't hear it.....He wasn't on stage" So says Jay Carney when pressed to address the president's failure to address the remarks of Jimmy Hoffa Jr. as an introductory speaker at Obama's Labor Day rally.
So....Mr. Hoffa speaks for himself, the president speaks for himself and Jay Carney speaks for the president and he thinks he has said all that he is going to say on the matter. And the mainstream media will allow him and the president to get away with it.
Kabuki Theater? That would be it alright.
