Today is Veterans Day. Give thanks and remember


As this day passes, we should give thanks for the many sacrifices that have been made for us by our service members past and present. We should look back and reflect and take the time to thank a veteran today when we encounter one.

Our nation needs our prayers and our sincere appreciation for all that has been given to insure this day for each of us.

As I leave this morning headed to Georgia National Cemetery to stand for and honor a Vietnam veteran who stood for us, I will meet up with fellow veterans, brothers and sisters and we will stand for this veteran soul, one last time as he is laid to rest in sacred ground.
