And I agree with her. I sent an email to Gov. Christie expressing the same sentiments as this fallen Marine's mother. Whitney Houston doesn't deserve this honor. But politics and racial politics being what they are, she is getting it.

Hi Chuck. Why does using common sense and respect for tradition need to be considered ugly? Oh! I almost forgot! It's about egalitarianism and fairness and racial politics of celebrating black heroes even if they aren't really by definition heroes.
ReplyDeletePerhaps congress should put forth a national holiday and national day of morning for all of the glorious and talented dope fiends who have passed before their time.
Those like Jimmy Hendrix and Janis Joplin and John Belushi to name a few. We can make it a three day party weekend like St. Patrick's Day!
