Demonization as practiced by a master

Yes mr. president....we ought to learn. But riddle me this? Is there a difference between your present perception of demonization of elected officials? And your lack of perception of demonization for elected officials for the eight years of administration that followed yours?

Not to assert that two wrongs make a right, but I am curious. How is it that the left reconciles it's eight years of vitriolic and caustic diatribes against the Bush administration, then proceeds to the court of public opinion to prostrate itself before the people to beg consideration and mercy?

See the problem?

And here we have the former president of the United States not speaking in generalities. No, he specifically targets and identifies Oath Keepers, Three Percenters and "right wing media" and Talk radio and what he refers to as the "echo chamber of the Internet."

Of course we must remember that Bill Clinton was the first president to suffer pain and suffering at the hands of both talk radio and the Internet. his dear wife Hillary even went as far as to assert that the Internet should be stifled and controlled by the government and that all commentary on the net should be filtered. A view that I am sure both of the Clinton's continue to share.

But once again, we have Bill Clinton practicing that which he seemingly is abhorring. Here the man is talking about demonization by others, yet that is precisely what he is attempting on his own as it concerns the Oath Keepers and others.

I wonder, does his attempt to brand them as 'mentally confused' lend credence to his assessments and subjugation of entities who otherwise have yet to be either determined or proven to be subversive?

I think not.

What we have here is Bill Clinton (via a liberal media) being given another public soap box to put forth and pursue the limited and skewed version of liberal progressive propaganda. Nothing more, nothing less.
