Thieves Steal Mojave Desert Memorial Cross in Nighttime Heist

The 7-foot-tall metal cross in a 75-year-old war memorial that withstood the heat of the Mojave Desert and a blazing battle in the Supreme Court over its legality was ripped down and stolen Sunday night, according to federal officials.

"This is an outrage, akin to desecrating people's graves," said Kelly Shackelford, president of the Liberty Institute, which represents the caretakers of the Mojave Desert War Memorial. "It's a disgraceful attack on the selfless sacrifice of our veterans. We will not rest until this memorial is re-installed."

Crap like this really pisses me off. it wasn't good enough that the ACLU (AKA America Communist Liars Union) has kept the monument in flux and boxed up for the last eight years, but now that they have lost and the Supreme Court refused to side with their Communist allegory, one of their jerk brethren in the secular humanist realm of idiocy has come and stolen the monument.

I sincerely hope that these vandals are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. It wasn't anything as simple as petty theft involved. This is vandalism and desecration of a monument. And the sorry pathetic scum involved should be sent to prison for a long time IMO.

Those who commit acts like this, are the same caliber as those that vandalize other people's property out of jealousy and envy. They lost their case in court (the Supreme Court as a mater of fact) and all that is left for them in their anguish filled little brains, is to destroy by force that which they could not manipulate the law into destroying for them.

And these people have the gall to stand and point fingers at others and assign the term hate to those who disagree with them.
