The Path To Redemption

Discrimination.  Remember that word?   There is not supposed to be any discrimination in America today, but there is.

Our nation having ended the thought and practice of discrimination in the mid 60's, with the civil rights act.

Remember?

But is that so today.  Or did something suddenly change at the US Capitol on Wednesday?  I don't believe so.

I believe the change had already occurred. It began with the administration of Barrack Obama. Remember him?

He promised to "fundamentally change America." And those fundamental changes were further solidified during this past summer of riots all across America.

And those changes were further solidified by the reactions and responses to the Capitol siege on Wednesday.

Those who descended on the Capitol  y the tens of thousands on Wednesday, were exercising freedom. As decribed in the first amendment.

The right to peaceably assemble, the right to redress grievances to the government.  The right to freedom of speech.  And when the government refuses to listen, more forceful means of conveying the message become necessary.

That there were those who took their actions a step beyond speech and assembly, does not diminish or make valueless, the speech of the tens of thousands who were there simply to be heard.

Windows were broken, doors were breeched and normal decorum was cast aside by a few, but the intent of the majority was not founded in the actions of those few.  It was and is founded in their rights, as described in the first amendment to the US Constitution.

We have been told the actions of Wednesday at the Capitol, were an assault on the foundations of democracy.

When in fact, what occurred, occurred because of the very real assaults on the foundations of our democracy, over the last fifteen years.

Assaults on our democracy, that have been occuring non stop and unabated for the last fifteen years.   And those assaults will now be accelerated on our freedoms and upon the foundations of our democracy.  By those who now stand to control all power in Washington.

Their attacks will be accelerated, because the gate keepers of our freedoms, the press and our elected officials, have shared equally, in their attacks and responsibilities, for having sought to tear down our freedoms and our democracy.

The US Capitol is the seat of our government, the seat of our freedoms and the physical representation of governance in America.

Yet that structure remains first and foremost, "the people's house." As in "we the people."

We are the deed holders. Therefore, it is not possible, to break into our own house. Unless there are those who have commandeered our house for their own ends. And that is precisely what has occurred and is occurring.

Barack Obama and his globalist mentors, began this assault on our freedoms and democracy, combined with the actions and approval of coconspirators, both in our house and at the gates.

That is when and where discrimination was resurrected in America in earnest.  And every American has been witness to it ever since.

Discrimination has not only become a renewed practice in America, but it has also become an accepted and condoned practice.  Just as long as you are a member of one of the protected classes. Then all is "fair" to them. If you are a member of one of the protected classes, you are oermitted to discriminate against thise who are not.

And as of Wednesday, there now exists a clear delineation of approved discrimination in America.

And those identifiers are easy to see.  The simole facts of America's new reality of discrimination is this.

If you or anyone else, but particularly those in politics, have dared to support Donald Trump or attempted to embrace, making America great again? Then you are the identifiable enemy. You are a racist. And as of Wednesday? You have been branded a terrorist.

You are now a member of our identifiable political caste system. You are someone that it is Ok to target and marginalize and discriminate against.

You don't believe so?  Just look around.  Take a look at how you are portrayed. Looks at your nedia headlines.  Listen closely to those in elected offices, who have closed ranks to brand everyone else as the problem.

The radical left has promised to exact revenge on any and all who were passengers on the make America great again Trump train.

Those Americans are to be discriminated against, vilified, fired, denied employment, and even denied access to public transportation.

If you are a member of the political out caste, you will be identified and denied the right to fly on commercial aircraft. And once identified, your employer will have the right to fire you.  Your businesses, homes and families, will be singled out and branded as enemies of the state.

Add to those realities, the fact that companies will refuse to do business with you.  And yes, we have already seen those things and more.

Americans who have been refused the right to board a plane.  Refused the right to have their books published.  And within the next few weeks? Refused to even be allowed to leave your home.

And let us not forget the big tech curtain that has descended upon this country.

The big tech curtain?  It functions much like the Iron Curtain once did. It stifles and silences all free speech and any opposition speech.  The big tech curtain of media and social media, now polices and determines what is permitted to be discussed and spoken of.

The big tech curtain of social media, resembles the Orwellian representations of thought speak.  Because if your thoughts do not coincide with the approved memes and representations of the new radical left? And their globalist egalitarian mentors? They vilify you, they demean you and they silence you.

You are not long to be allowed to speak your thoughts or opinions period. And given time and the ability of technology? They will create a means by which you are not even allowed to think any thought, not in line with their egalitarian mantras.

Remember this exaltation:

"I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death, your ability to say it."

I believe that entire concept was set aside once Barack Obama became president.  That is when it became socially acceptable and socially approved, to marginalize and demonize and brand non partisan thought and speech.

That is when the vitriolic attacks against our most basic freedoms, became an industry.  And the head of that industry is the media. They who were supposed to be the gate keepers of our freedoms, have become our jailers.

If all members of society are not permitted to think and speak equally, then freedom does not exist.  The founding fathers recognized that reality over 250 years ago.  And that is why they became committed to personal sacrifice, war and death if need be, to obtain it.

"Give me liberty or give me death," were more than just a catchy headline of their day.

So what has changed in today's world.  What is different now.  250 years removed?

We now have communication abilities beyond the dreams of those who fought to get their message of freedom out in 1776.  The only technology they possessed then, were quill pens, parchment and a damn few printing presses.

Speech was professed in almanacs and church and tavern meetings. Until those too were banned by the state of that era.

Much of their communication then, was accomplished by word of mouth and yet they inspired their fellow citizens, to establish the greatest democracy ever created.

And yet here we are, ten generations removed? And all we seem willing to do, is to gawk blindly at these never ending attacks on our freedoms collectively and individually.

And we do nothing.

We have forgotten or never learned the admonitions of those who paid the price for freedom.

There have been warnings. Most recently, 160 years ago, when this nation was equally as divided as it is now.

"A house divided against itself, cannot stand."

Yet we watch and wait and do nothing. While our collective and individual freedoms are openly and blatantly stripped from us daily.

So while you sit back and and watch and digest the happenings of this past week, know this.  Tangibles are not the wealth of this world.  The wealth of this world is not money, or status, or title, or possessions.

The only tangibles that exist in this life of vLue, are your health, your love, your family and your freedom. And when either of those are under attack?

You should not stand idly by, waiting for others to defend them for you. That defense is your responsibility.  So when you abdicate your responsibility to defend yourself, ask yourself one simple question.

Why should anyone else risk their life, or health, or love, or family, to protect yours. Our responsibility is a shared responsibility.

I grew up in a nation where Americans were challenged to do more.  They were challenged to do their best, they were challenged to be their best.  They were challenged to achieve and to fail and to achieve again.

Nothing was promised, yet much was expected.  Why? Because we held the shared responsibility for our own freedom.

"Ask not, what your country can do for you?"  Remember?

And yet now? If anyone attempts to bring forth that call to service? They are vilified and demonized and branded as a hater and a myriad of other popularized scarlett letters of the present.

"Son of man, you are living in a rebellious house. They have eyes to see but do not see, and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious house. Mark 4:12 so that, 'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.'"

Therefore, the path to our redemption as a nation, rests squarely in our individual and collective hands.

No man is an island, but all men can become an army of one. And it is long since time, for Americans to enlist in their own army.

The path of redemption is self evident and clearly marked. Both redemption of soul and of self.

God said "that whosoever liveth and believeth in him shall never die. But have everlasting life."

What many have failed to perceive? Is that self redemption is the first step toward eternal redemption.  It is also the first step toward the redemption of America, as the bastion of freedom.

That shining city on a hill that President Reagan spoke of, still exists, but it is under attack. And it is our responsibility to defend it. If not us, then who.

Semper Fidelis.
