Fat tests for adults over 40 in new Government drive to tackle obesity
Everyone aged between 40 and 74 will be called in to their GP for a 'fat test' and prescribed weight management and exercise if they are found to be overweight, under a new Government drive on obesity.
That's right. In the UK the government has initiated a program requiring all of it's citizens to be called in for check ups and BMI checks for obesity. And if found to be over weight (fat) they will be given a body weight plan from their physician. Who will of course report their findings to their "national health database" of medical records that the government manages and uses to monitor people with.
It's called the National Health Service or the "NHS" for short. And this is precisely what Barack Obama wants to bring to these shores. Affordable health care? Will become like every other government program in America where the government has say so and control over access. And just so everyone is aware? Our doctor's offices are already collecting the data. So it's only a matter of bringing up the system and plugging in all the doctors and hospitals nationally? And the government will know whether you are over weight or not. (among other things) and you will be judged accordingly.
Which means your access to health care will be limited at some point, to what some bureaucrat believes is "fair" based upon your overall health profile, lifestyle, BMI rating and a host of other things. So everyone better begin getting healthy fast. Or else you may one day find yourself singled out and told that you don't qualify to continue living. So you won't be getting any health care for your problem. Think about that for a minute and try to tell yourself one more time that supposed affordable national health care is a good thing.
You may not of voted for it? But you are about to be stuck with it. Literally
