Obama's buck-stopping goes only so far
WASHINGTON – He says "the buck stops with me," but nearly a year into office, President Barack Obama is still blaming a lot of the nation's troubles — the economy, terrorism, health care — on George W. Bush.
Over and over, Obama keeps reminding Americans of the mess he inherited and all he's doing to fix it. A sharper, give-me-some-credit tone has emerged in his language as he bemoans people's fleeting memory about what life was like way back in 2008, particularly on the economy.
"Yes, we can"?
Try "Yes, I have."
Obama's buck ain't stopped period IMO and t never will as long as he can get away with whining about George Bush. Aside from the fact that the dollar is sliding faster than Obama's popularity in the polls, the man demonstrates daily that he doesn't have a clue how to run this country or resolve the crisis of the economy that is facing us all.
And to think, these liberal morons that we currently have showering him with praises, (Pelosi Reid fill in the blank) are the same one's that use to make fun of Bush and attempt to portray him as a dunce.
Barack Obama is being shown to be the straw man that he really is by his own impotence as a leader. By his own hand and by his own inability to make decisions on the issues of importance to Americans, he is demonstrating that he is more of a dodger than a leader.
When he isn't running and jumping in front of a teleprompter and a television camera to give one of his wordy speeches, what is it precisely that he has accomplished? Someone please enlighten me on that as I seem to be unable to pin point any tangible accomplishments of this president to date.
Aside from bending this country over to every tin dick and despot on the planet and all but inviting the Muslim terrorist to come murder us at their leisure.
Go ahead mr. president, blame your failures and shortcomings on Bush if you think anyone aside from your ideological minions actually believes that.
News flash....the rest of us don't believe it and we know what the emperor looks like naked. So grab a fig leaf or two as your real colors are showing.
