Well at least according to Ted Koppel it has been an absolute triumph.
Here sits an American journalist who made his career thirty years ago, based upon the Iranian hostage crisis and he is being interviewed on the BBC as if he were Walter Cronkite.
And what are his pearls of wisdom to the British people? America over reacted. The president's initial response to the terrorist attack on Christmas day was correct. No big deal, carry on, act as if nothing really happened, because nothing really did happen. Right?
Absolutely amazing. When the best that can be surmised by one of America's former leading journalist? Is that we should simply sweep up the glass and move on (as the Israeli's do)? While over looking the reality of the other actions and precautions that those like the Israeli's take? Well there you have it folks. America's mainstream socialist press is angered not by what did happen, but by what didn't happen and what subsequently happened.
They would much rather have American entrails hanging from the landscape that to have to report on a bobbled and misfired attempt by Islamic terrorists. And they certainly don't like seeing their president offering up mea culpas in response to revelations that America's premiere intelligence agencies once again failed their security analysis of the obvious.
And who better to focus that reality to a laser point, than one Ted Koppel. "And that's our report for tonight, I'm Ted Koppel in Washington and from all of us here at ABC News, good night."

I've never for one second believed that Ted was a 'conservative' journalist... always have believed he was the MSM's little controlled poster boy of a conservative.
And for him to hold Israel up as some great model... the only reason they don't blow the unholy he** out of the Palestinians and Iran etc... is because we pressure them to keep sweeping up their slaughtered in the name of... appeasement.
They do get fed up with it after a while Ted... you are a reporter... do you so soon forget the Gaza Strip thing last year? Lebanon, a couple of years ago? I could go on...
The poster boys true colors are showing... and thanks for pointing it out!
