The Wagging of Tongues and Pointing of Fingers

If anyone truly wants to see how freedom can be dismantled and reduced to the absolute purview and definition of an omnipresent state? Then no better example exist in western nations than the present practices of UK in my estimation.

A once proud nation capable of taking on Nazi tyranny and defeating it in the face of overwhelming odds, has been reduced to an isle of cur whelps and champagne socialists IMO. A nation where the majority of people are governed by what they are told, permitted and allowed to believe, think and speak according to the Home Office among other government entities.

And they are not only governed by a Home Office that designates their own rights and abilities, but also lunatic local councils and a parliament that is completely out of touch and apparently on regular bank holiday.

And these same entities seek to do the very same for those who may seek to visit the UK. I say may seek, as it has yet to be determined is you have to seek admission to the UK, before you can be placed on their official no go list.

Most Americans would be shocked if not consumed with laughter, to be apprised of all that is carried on today in the UK as supposed normalcy of government function and the permissions allowed of individual freedoms. From the thousands upon thousands of CCTV cameras and traffic cameras that peer into every aspect of British life, to the health and safety councils that prevent the most mundane public assemblies from ever occurring, to the ASBOS that supposedly target anti social behavior, down to the sorting of recyclables under penalty of law for having your bins out of order on the curb.

Thus is the present reality of life in the UK for its citizens and it becomes more laughable by the day to those like myself who only look on in utter awe and amazement.

And it seems as if few stones are left unturned when it comes to quelling individual freedom or the right to free thoughts in the present day UK. It now appears that the British Home Office wants to branch out and feel their oats more and more and push the envelope as far as they potentially can. Even to include visitors to the UK. Which wouldn't be a bad thing, provided the proper yard stick was being applied to those seeking admission.

Why should they stop at making policy statements and employing their control measures on the mere subjects of the kingdom? When after all....there is a whole world out there ripe for the plucking by the thought police and the politically correct brigades already controlling most of life cradle to grave in the UK. And now it seems, they want to control all out land associations of thought and speech too.

Now do understand, that even though the Home Office has branched out to take on their version of larger social controls over those visiting the UK from America and elsewhere? There are still apparently limits to their power and ability to influence or affect visitors from other countries. Political correctness does have its limits and protected classes after all.

The Home Office presently seems to be targeting the supposed high profile and high value public targets, but I seriously wonder about the scrutiny of the others that saunter easily past these paragons of public responsibility and at British Customs daily.

According to an article posted today in the Independent.....

Named and shamed: the 16 barred from UK

A few excerpts..

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said she decided to make public the names of 16 people banned since October so others could better understand what sort of behaviour Britain was not prepared to tolerate.

The list includes hate preachers, anti-gay protesters and a far- right US talk show host.

And there is more....

"Coming to this country is a privilege. If you can't live by the rules that we live by, the standards and the values that we live by, we should exclude you from this country and, what's more, now we will make public those people that we have excluded.

Now, let's have a look at the short list of beasties that have been banned in Piccadilly.....

talk show host Michael Savage, real name Michael Weiner.

Also named are American Baptist pastor Fred Waldron Phelps Snr and his daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper

Hamas MP Yunis Al-Astal, Jewish extremist Mike Guzovsky, former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard Stephen Donald Black and neo-Nazi Erich Gliebe are also on the list released today.

Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky, the former leaders of a violent Russian skinhead gang which committed 20 racially motivated murders, are also banned from coming to Britain. Both are currently in prison.

Making up the rest of the 16 named by the Home Office today are preachers Wadgy Abd El Hamied Mohamed Ghoneim, Abdullah Qadri Al Ahdal, Safwat Hijazi and Amir Siddique, Muslim activist Abdul Ali Musa (previously Clarence Reams), murderer and Hezbollah terrorist Samir Al Quntar and Kashmiri terror group leader Nasr Javed.

I did note that Martha Stewart isn't on this list, although she has also been banned from entering the country from what I hear.

So you see, they are getting it all tidy now and spiffed up for those of the proper title and etiquette. No more allowing these "purveyors of hate" into the merry old England. Stop them at the gates! Tell them up front that it's a no go! Don't even bother! No pandering of your hate here Yanks!

Meanwhile, the never ending sea of asylum seekers from all parts east and middle east and their immigrants continue to flood and inundate and overwhelm every aspect of the day to day and common life of the average Brit.

But at least these listed rogues of sixteen won't be allowed to come preach their hate in the UK. And that is regardless of whether they have sought to come to the UK or not. You see, that is one small detail that seems to have been overlooked or not mentioned in this report on the Home Office action.

How many of these banned sixteen? Ever expressed an interest in coming to the UK to begin with? Answer that? And you might just immediately show and prove the straw dog that this newly published Home Office policy really is. And you might just see what it is truly aimed at. (hint "the dumb masses).

In the meantime, I believe I will post a note to my senators and representatives in congress. See if I can't get them to post our own high profile no go list of Brits. Tit for tat so to speak. Something that can be easily understood by the average and proper minded American.

What say we place George Galloway on the list? He is certainly a purveyor of hate IMO. And what of that fellow Ian Blair? Consistently rooting for the wrong team qualifies him for the list IMO. And while we are at it? I say Tony Blair also. Provided his own people don't lynch him first, or he isn't elected president of the EU.

Next I want Keith Richards and Micky Jagger to be lopped off the approved visitation list for America. Something about a man that looks like a refugee from an autopsy, speaks directly to his qualifications for being on my list and I am quite tired of seeing Jagger's wrinkled ass in spandex and open collar shirts screeching like a 60 something year old owl.

And Elton John and that screwy fellow Boy George. They should both be banned for simply looking stupid. And let's not forget the dope head Amy Winehouse or that bone head Bono. She can probably be easily classified as a microbial carrier of God only knows what and Bono is Irish after all. And we already have enough of those here to last another several hundred years.

So just like Ms. Smith of the UK Home Office says.... "If people have so clearly overstepped the mark in terms of the way not just that they are talking but the sort of attitudes that they are expressing to the extent that we think that this is likely to cause or have the potential to cause violence or inter-community tension in this country, then actually I think the right thing is not to let them into the country in the first place. Not to open the stable door then try to close it later,"

You know what? I have to agree with her. And the sauce that goes best with their goose? Should also go equally well with our own. And on second thought? I think I will include her on my list. Something about that woman's attitudes that has already caused tension here IMO.

Well it looks like Ms. Smith's head is on Brown's chopping block in an effort to try and save himself.
