Look around. Georgia lifted the shelter in place order two weeks ago. But what has changed. Some shops are open. A few Nail salons, A few barbershops. But they are all doing sporadic and furtive business.
Restaurants and bars still aren't back to normal and I doubt they soon will be. Neither are hotels or tourist destinations. People are scared. People now look upon one another as lepers, it they are not wearing masks everywhere.
Working from home may suit the availability and lifestyle of some Americans, but it is not what built this country. It is not what will sustain this country.
Americans must be employed in the nitty gritty. The jobs where we sweat and where we get our hands dirty. Because absent those jobs and sweat and grit? All the rest of it ceases to exist.
Something the liberals and the millennials and their sycophant media have never learned, is that this nation stands on foundations. Literally and figuratively. Combined with a history of those foundations.
Foundations of principles, faith, morals and justice, first and foremost their must be faith. Faith in ourselves and faith in our God. And after that come the foundations of work and production, and unity and community and being the best at what we do and what we have done.
Foundations of principles, faith, morals and justice, first and foremost their must be faith. Faith in ourselves and faith in our God. And after that come the foundations of work and production, and unity and community and being the best at what we do and what we have done.
One of the main reasons we find ourselves in the situations we do today, is because we have as a nation, forsaken our foundations of faith and principles. We have abandoned our faith in our God and in ourselves and our faith of working to produce our own sustainable nation.
We have allowed others to forfeit those foundations for profit and as we see presently. And because of our laxity, we are reaping the whirlwind because of it today.
If there is one stand alone lesson to be learned from this crisis? It is that we must, cease to be dependent on any nation for anything from this point forward. But to do that, we first must learn to wean ourselves of convenience. We must become accustomed to paying for quality once again. And? We also must learn to wean the dollar changers in the temples.
Many people always ask? What would Jesus do? Would Jesus take exception and lash out against his tormentors? He certainly did not do that when Pilot's soldiers came to take him away to scourging and crucifixion. And that is correct. Because Jesus knew that his death was serving a higher purpose.
However, that was not the case, when he walked into the temple and saw the money changers fowling and spreading sin in his father's house. He took exception and with righteous anger, he sent them scurrying.
And that is the exact same type of righteous anger that the Christians of today should summon forth. Because their houses of worship are being defiled, while they are being deprived and denied their rights of assembly and fellowship in them.
And their nation is being defiled by those who seek to defame and destroy us, the same as the Romans once sought to defame and destroy the Christian church.
I am not suggesting that everyone should rush back to their churches and pick up serpents and start swilling poison, to prove that they wear the armor of God. But I am saying this.
These politicians only have as much power over you as you allow them to have. And if you are not willing to stand up for what you believe in, then you might as well lay down and die. Because as Jesus said:
New King James Version Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.
Are our pastors and ministers of today any different?
Any less accountable to the Lord? And to you?
I do not mean to preach, but I cannot believe that more Americans cannot see and understand what I see and understand before my eyes daily.
Mark 8:18
Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?
The last of which of that verse is the more telling in my mind. We do not remember. Americans do not remember. We see not, nor remember past the end of our noses. Because we have become a vain and self serving nation.
And believe or not, in God's time, he will reckon with those who have turned away from him. And the times we are in now? Are part of that reckoning in my opinion.
Matthew 24:7
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
Look around you America. The signs are ever present daily.
Believe as you choose, but when that day comes, there will be no bargaining or bartering. Lots will have been cast. Be that today, tomorrow or a thousand years from today, the day still approaches. And those who did not live and die in the Lord, will not see the resurrection.
Neither His, nor their own.
