An Interesting take on our current condition

I received this in email today. Its is extremely well written and needs no introduction.....

Back on Uncle Sam's plantation

Star Parker - Syndicated Columnist - 2/9/2009 8:00:00 AM

Six years ago I wrote a book called Uncle Sam's Plantation . I wrote the book to tell my own story of what I saw living inside the welfare state and my own transformation out of it.

I said in that book that indeed there are two Americas -- a poor America on socialism and a wealthy America on capitalism.
I talked about government programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Training (JOBS), Emergency Assistance to Needy Families with Children (EANF), Section 8 Housing, and Food Stamps.

A vast sea of perhaps well-intentioned government programs, all initially set into motion in the 1960s, that were going to lift the nation's poor out of poverty. A benevolent Uncle Sam welcomed mostly poor black Americans onto the government plantation. Those who accepted the invitation switched mindsets from "How do I take care of myself?" to "What do I have to do to stay on the plantation?"

Instead of solving economic problems, government welfare socialism created monstrous moral and spiritual problems -- the kind of problems that are inevitable when individuals turn responsibility for their lives over to others.
The legacy of American socialism is our blighted inner cities, dysfunctional inner city schools, and broken black families.

Through God's grace, I found my way out. It was then that I understood what freedom meant and how great this country is.
I had the privilege of working on welfare reform in 1996, passed by a Republican Congress and signed 50 percent.
I thought we were on the road to moving socialism out of our poor black communities and replacing it with wealth-producing American capitalism.

But, incredibly, we are going in the opposite direction.
Instead of poor America on socialism becoming more like rich American on capitalism, rich America on capitalism is becoming like poor America on socialism.

Uncle Sam has welcomed our banks onto the plantation and they have said, "Thank you, Suh."

Now, instead of thinking about what creative things need to be done to serve customers . . . they are thinking about what they have to tell Massah in order to get their cash.
There is some kind of irony that this is all happening under our first black president on the 200th anniversary of the birthday of Abraham Lincoln.

Worse, socialism seems to be the element of our new young president. And maybe even more troubling, our corporate executives seem happy to move onto the plantation.
In an op-ed on the opinion page of the Washington Post, Mr. Obama is clear that the goal of his trillion dollar spending plan is much more than short term economic stimulus.
"This plan is more than a prescription for short-term spending -- it's a strategy for America 's long-term growth and opportunity in areas such as renewable energy, healthcare, and education."

Perhaps more incredibly, Obama seems to think that government taking over an economy is a new idea. Or that massive growth in government can take place "with unprecedented transparency and accountability." Yes, sir, we heard it from Jimmy Carter when he created the Department of Energy, the Synfuels Corporation, and the Department of Education.

Or how about the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 -- The War on Poverty -- which President Johnson said "...does not merely expand old programs or improve what is already being done. It charts a new course. It strikes at the causes, not just the consequences of poverty." Trillions of dollars later, black poverty is the same. But black families are not, with triple the incidence of single-parent homes and out-of-wedlock births.

It's not complicated. Americans can accept Barack Obama's invitation to move onto the plantation. Or they can choose personal responsibility and freedom. Does anyone really need to think about what the choice should be?

At What Length Diversity?

Parents in the UK complain that this lady is scaring their kids. You decide. But as for me? I have never know of but a couple of instances of television in America embracing deformities. Both involving the eyes. as with Sammy Davis Jr. And Peter Falk.

There may be others, but those are the two that come immediately to mind right now.

Wall Street's Remorse is Settling In

As I as an individual stagger from day to day attempting to fathom what is happening to my country and my future, I do a lot of reading. Much of that reading has been consumed of late, with facts and figures best left to those with the degrees in accounting, but I feel compelled to at least try and figure out what is going on with the economy and my future as a result of it. Seeing as how it is affecting me so directly and so dramatically.

This morning I found this piece.

Let me be very clear on the economics of President Obama’s State of the Union speech and his budget.

He is declaring war on investors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations, and private-equity and venture-capital funds.

That is the meaning of his anti-growth tax-hike proposals, which make absolutely no sense at all — either for this recession or from the standpoint of expanding our economy’s long-run potential to grow.

I saw these same sentiments being expressed over the past week by a number of economists and others being consulted by the media as to what the president is doing with the economy and the budget and why.

And the consensus of learned opinion seems to agree that President Barack Obama has launched an all out war against prosperity in America. And almost at every turn when those in the media can amass the testosterone to even ask the messianic one about his plans or policies? His immediate response and reply to them and us has been to direct our collective attention to the "who won the election?" retort.

And his most recent addition to that pat response, is to assert that he is only carrying out what he people voted for last November.

Study after study over the past several decades has shown how countries that spend more produce less, while nations that tax less produce more. Obama is doing it wrong on both counts.

Yes, study after study has always shown that strangling productivity with taxation is not the viable or survivable approach to preserving or growing any economy. Yet our gallant leader is pressing forward with a vengeance to insure that his socialist spending spree goes forward regardless of the immediate or long term consequences. Obama is literally seeking to completely erase the economic history of the past thirty years and he intends to do so by driving socialism and anti capitalism down the throats of every American. So don't kid yourself folks. There is no crying uncle in this high stakes game of socialist gamesmanship. He and his handlers will full court press their ideology just as far and just as fast as they can until we stop them.

Because they know just as all of their ilk knows, that once the people and the press figure out precisely what is going on? They will rise up against it. The problem is, we as a nation and the west as a whole, have been so thoroughly weakened by the crash of the sub prime lunacy that brought forth all this economic mess, that there is more than a significant doubt as to whether we as a nation or as a collective western economy can survive it period.

Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is a war of ideologies. And the people who are capable of recognizing that fact and the ultimate result of their inaction in the face of fervor propelled socialism had better get a grip and come together to put a halt to it soon. Real damn soon as a matter of fact. Or else we will find ourselves as the Romans once found themselves.

I once heard Andrew Young address a conference of "black" mayors in America and he made this statement: "If we are not careful, we will find ourselves in control of powerless cities."

I would ask Americans now....look around and see just how many cities where that prophecy has come to pass. Then look around at the states that have and are succumbing to the same realities of socialist folly. Then have a look at the crystal ball future for America under a hell bent four year presidency of Barack Obama. Personally? I don't believe the man can hope for a second term. By the time he has had two years in office at this rate of cataclysmic idiocy, he will have so thoroughly destroyed the economy of this country? That we in all probability will be either in the midst of or well down the road to chaos and revolution in the streets.

And if we are not, will we be at war with each other as a nation? As we once were? Or will we be at war globally with those who are seeking to feed from the carrion of the slaughtered fattened calf that once was America.

It tells the tale that many said would be the case months ago if this false prophet was elected. Back when no one was listening. Well they certainly seem to be listening now.

Noteworthy up here on Wall Street, a great many Obama supporters — especially hedge-fund types who voted for “change” — are becoming disillusioned with the performances of Obama and Treasury man Geithner.

There is a growing sense of buyer’s remorse.

Well then, do conservatives dare say: We told you so?

The Chinese Version of Flip this House

Chinese Scoop Up SoCal Foreclosures

Also known as "what the market will bear."

Right now? Our bear market can't bear the down turn that has occurred and the fire sales have begun; therefore the foreign investors are pouring in to feast on the carrion of what once was opulent America.

Raise Gas Taxes? Or Pay By the Mile?

How about "pay as you go?" Now there is a novel idea that obviously exists outside the thought capabilities of those in congress.

Once again the realities of recession rise to reveal the true specter that looms behind every federal taxation scheme. The government budgets based upon what they want the reality to be and when the reality falls short of their expectations?: Their first and always alternative is to simply raise taxes.

Heaven forbid that someone actually step forward and do or say what the rest of us have to as our realities. That we simply can't afford something and therefore, will have to cut back based upon our limited budget.

The 2% Solution that Is Doomed To Fail

President Obama rolled out his tax and budget proposals today and once again he is insisting that he can accomplish his socialist dream push to Nirvana, by merely punishing that wealthiest 2% of Americans. (AKA the evil rich).

President Obama has laid out the most ambitious and expensive domestic agenda since LBJ, and now all he has to do is figure out how to pay for it.

Everyone should be familiar with this 2% group, as they comprise roughly 3.8 million of the population and they paid roughly 522 billion in taxes during 2006. Roughly 62% of all federal taxes for that year. Which by comparison to the last twelve months? Was a damn good year. But something tells me and more than a few others, that these same people who paid that 522 billion two years ago? Won't be paying that much this year and the reason that they won't? Is because they have taken a bath in the markets this year and their wealth profile and earnings have significantly been marginalized and reduced. Simple economics 101......less earnings less tax obligation and tax bracket exposure. As a matter of fact? That 2% may dwindle significantly based upon the last 18 months.

A few points to ponder:

A tax policy that confiscated 100% of the taxable income of everyone in America earning over $500,000 in 2006 would only have given Congress an extra $1.3 trillion in revenue. That's less than half the 2006 federal budget of $2.7 trillion and looks tiny compared to the more than $4 trillion Congress will spend in fiscal 2010. (based on Obama's budget scheme) Even taking every taxable "dime" of everyone earning more than $75,000 in 2006 would have barely yielded enough to cover that $4 trillion.

"taking every taxable dime of everyone earning more than $75,000 in 2006 would have barely covered that $4 trillion? That ought to scare the hell out of people and demonstrate clearly that Obama's budget propsals and evil rich punishing scheme to fund it is more than hocus pocus! It's pure unadulterated bull manure!

I remember a time when the rabid left who had recently wrecked the American economy, looked on bleary eyed and blathering and assailed President Reagan's attempts to right the ship wreck of state left by Jimmy Carter as "Voodoo Reaganomics."

Well I can tell you friends, if Reagan's tax policy answer to Carter's runaway inflation and a stagnant economy and inflated interest rates was voodoo or trickle down economics? Then this crap that the Obama administration is hustling looks like something straight from the pages of a Mary Shelly novel. This is the Frankenstein monster of all economic policy statements IMO. The father of this beast is completely indiscernible and the cobbled together parts and pieces that form the body will soon prove as unwieldy and uncontrollable as Shelly's monster creation.

So how long before the modern day villagers of America rebel and come looking for the mad doctor and his creation? I for one sense the light of torches in the not so distant future of this country. As more and more Americans get a first hand look at the reality that this failed socialist policy will represent to them? Within the next six months of continuing decline under their belts as a reference point to base their opinions on? I say that it won't be long before the homeland security budget for Washington as a whole will go up dramatically. As the native will be restless and looking for more than effigies to burn.

The people who have sense enough to see what has happened and why and who is responsible and who and what are being perpetrated against them then and now under the cover of a socialist smoke screen? Well that number will swell exponentially over the next six months and the rest of this year. As it does and as more and more Americans are thrown out of work and as more and more Americans see their homes and their families and everything that they have worked for all their life going up in smoke? IMO, there will be a good many Americans who are going to want to repay the favor and the misery to those responsible in Washington.

And it isn't the richest one or two percent that Obama and the myrmidons of the democrat party are attempting to play pin the tail on the donkey with that the people will come after. The people of this country are getting ready to learn the hard way what Obama's hope and change has really meant for them. And sooner or later they will realize that their misery isn't all because of anything that George Bush did or didn't do. There were a lot of fingers in this pie of economic pain and looming depression. Going back at least to the Carter administration and before. And the fingerprints on the crime scene tell the tale for all capable of reading them.

Read it and weep. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123561551065378405.html?mod=djemEditorialPage

America Safer Than Mexico. For Now

Here is an encouraging report. It ssems that the mayor of a Mexican border town, has been forced to move his family to El Paso Texas, in order to protect them from death threats by drug dealers in Mexico.

This is what is in store for Americans in the very near future. As these drug gangs and drug lords spill across our open borders.

Keith Obermnann Caught Praying Off Camera

I missed it last night. Probably because I don't listen to or watch MSNBC, but once again.....Keith Obermann allowed his true stripe to be reveal as it concerns his politics. You would think that after the network took him out of their political spotlight coverage back during the campaign and the conventions, that he would have learned how to temper and control his personal commentaries, but apparently not.

Peter Schiff Predicts Imminent Doom

Peter Schiff is one of several economist (outside the preferred beltway loop) who have been sounding the alarm on the US economy for several years. This interview speaks directly to what he has seen coming and why and what he see looming and why. And worse.....that it is going to get a lot worse a lot quicker than most Americans realize. Take the time and watch the interview and listen to Peter Schiff's explanation of why things are so bad and why they are about to collapse in a grandiose fashion. Then decide for yourself, whether President Obama's actions of the last month and the stimulus package, or his speech tonight, or what he does or doesn't do for the foreseeable future, will make a tinker's damn in the final analysis.

The Lion Speaks Tonight

This little speech tonight ought to prove to be something to behold. Every time he has opened his mouth in the past month, the stock market has slid farther and father into the shitter. And quite frankly? I am not aware of anything that he can do or not do that will put the brakes on this runaway train.

He calls himself trying to avoid the crash, but everything that he and congress have done to this point, has resulted in only more socialist pork barrel spending. Hillary Clinton was in China over the weekend, literally begging off the Chinese to continue to buy our ridiculous debt, while we continue to shovel the pile of it deeper and deeper.

The wreck of the American economy? Is going to be of colossal proportions IMO. They will be talking and writing about it for the next five hundred years IMO. And the band plays on and the messianic one fiddles and attempts allegory as if that is some form of solution to the reality.

When Oppenheimer coined the phrase ....."I am become death, destroyer of worlds," he had no idea that there are far worse things than atomic weapons in this world. There are far greater dangers than even nuclear holocaust.

Famine, pestilence and disease can be every bit as devastating to entire societies as the flash of light in anger.

What a Difference a Day Makes.

When last we visited the ongoing saga of America's failing economy and faltering banks (last Friday) President Barack Obama (AKA the messianic one) was assuring the nation that the federal government had absolutely no intention of nationalizing the banks. In particular, Citibank or Bank of America.

Having endured a pasting in the media the previous 48 hours for his failure to address the issue publicly and issue either a confirmation or denial, the messianic one slipped easily into his last most recent issue of assurance to the people.

That was then, this is now.

Fast forward to Monday morning (today) and the essence and lingering reality are seeping front and center back onto the stage.

By DAVID ENRICH and MONICA LANGLEY

Citigroup Inc. is in talks with federal officials that could result in the U.S. government substantially expanding its ownership of the struggling bank, according to people familiar with the situation.

While the discussions could fall apart, the government could wind up holding as much as 40% of Citigroup's common stock. Bank executives hope the stake will be closer to 25%, these people said.

Any such move would give federal officials far greater influence over one of the world's largest financial institutions. Citigroup has proposed the plan to its regulators. The Obama administration hasn't indicated if it supports the plan, according to people with knowledge of the talks.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123535148618845005.html

So the question must rightfully be asked....who or what to believe? should we believe our eyes and our own wits and sensibilities of reality? Or should we continue to be lulled into senses of false security and the delusion that the Messianic one possesses the ability to rescue us?

Personally, I will opt for the former. Having had more than enough experience with the latter at this point.

Is Obama Bigger Than Jesus?

Some in the media seem to think so and from the looks of it? They would like the malleable mush minds of the dumb masses to believe so at their suggestion.

For my part...I am one of those that believes that Barack Obama being raised on a pedestal above Jesus or any other deity for that matter, relies heavily on the uneducated mind and a non belief system.

John Lennon once boasted of being more popular than Jesus and in another generation, the dust of his bones will be forgotten to the dead minds of his era that no longer walk the earth. While Jesus will still be hailed and recognized by the knowing believers as the Messiah.

The Japanese once had a traditional belief that their emperors were living gods. It appears that there are those in contemporary times, who would wish the same stature upon their false gods and heroes. But wishing doesn't make it so.

Barack Obama is no god and he is no emperor either. He is just a hollow and shallow man, who is about to be revealed for his lack of depth and his absence of ability.

Proof

Being Home Coming Queen Can Be a Drag

"Ryann has been around for about four years now."

And people in this country want to know what is wrong with our society? Adn why we are losing the respect of other nations around the world? It's because these types of heresy are being celebrated as championing diversity?

Can anyone say Pleasse.........!

Chris Dodd is Worried

Chris Dodd? One of the elected officials singly most responsible for the government engineered and orchestrated sub-prime mortgage meltdown? And his partners in crime, the idiot savant (heavy emphasis on the idiot part) Barney Frank and his trusty side kick Maxine Waters and others?

These are the same people who crashed the damn ship! It was they who put America on the rocks of financial ruin and yet the media and the myrmidons of the Washington beltway, continue to run to these traitors to seek further council on our collective future!

Whereas, we should as a nation be headed to Washington with truck loads of feathers and train loads of tar to paste these interloping traitors from head to azz with!

AS it concerns the potential to have to nationalize Americas largest banks........Mr. Dodd opines........

“I don’t welcome that at all, but I could see how it’s possible it may happen,” Dodd said today on Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt” to be broadcast this weekend. “I’m concerned that we may end up having to do that, at least for a short time.”

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a402k68PAWUA&refer=worldwide

He is concerned? He damn well ought to be concerned! He is one of the ones responsible for this fine mess that we find ourselves in.

What Would Jesus Do With 850 Billion Dollars?

A fairly thought provoking editorial on what we have witnessed this week in America. Compliments of a runaway congress headed by a runaway spend thrift socialist president masquerading as an agent of change.

The only thing that is going to be changed in this country over the next four years? Is the standard of living for 90% of Americans. Many Americans are about to get a real time lesson in the meaning of the words poor and depression.

Abort Obama Not The Unborn

You decide.

Personally? I think this is but another example of the idiocy currently prevailing in our society every day. This incident is clearly a first amendment issue and is clearly protected speech. It has absolutely nothing to do with a threat in any form to the president of the United States.

Yet these dweebs continue to attempt to make issue and take exception to all speech that conflict with their own lack of principles and lack of morals.

B Ball In Alabama

This is pretty sad IMO. Not only do you have high schools kids acting like fools, but you have parents acting like bigger damn fools.

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Alabama Athletic Association has eliminated both the G.W. Carver and Valley high schools' boys basketball teams from the AHSAA Central Region Basketball Tournament.

Both teams are now on "restrictive probation" and officials are calling the game a "double forfeit".

The AHSAA's Steve Savarese says he, along with several speakers, will meet with both teams on Thursday, though he declined to discuss what they would talk about in the meeting.

Savarese says the girls' teams are not affected by this decision and will continue in the competition.

Don't You Just Hate.....Hate Speech

I for one am about sick and damn tired of it. I am sick and tired of these academic plebes waltzing around and getting their fawned and swooning media coverage, for parroting the liberal Marxist outrage of feigned indignation, over perceived slights and the supposed criminality of so called hate speech.

This is America people! There is no such thing as hate speech! The founding fathers saw fit to address that with the very first amendment to our constitution. Therefore? I have to assume that they felt that it was pretty damn important. Otherwise it would have either been farther down in the list of their bill of rights, or absent from it all together. But it wasn't. It is right there at the top. Number one! And number two on the list is the people's right to resist and throw off any oppressive government that rises and to do so by their right to bear arms against their government if the need should arise.

And I am of the opinion? That the time is almost upon us when the reasoning of Jefferson and the rest of that motley crew, needs to be both revisited, retested and reproved to the fetid masses of dumb that currently permeate this nation and claim supposed right of citizenship.

Student Sues, Says Prof Called Him a "Fascist Bastard"

Updated 8:32 PM PST, Mon, Feb 16, 2009

A student is suing Los Angeles City College over an incident in which a professor refused to let him finish a speech against gay marriage, according to the Los Angeles Times. (LA Times)

Student Jonathan Lopez told the Times that the professor, John Matteson, called him a "fascist bastard" and refused to let him finish his speech during a public speaking class last November, weeks after California voters approved Proposition 8 banning gay marriage.

Lopez also said the teacher threatened to have him expelled when he complained to college authorities.

Lopez is represented by the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian legal organization based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and co-founded by evangelical leader James Dobson of Focus on the Family. Alliance staff counsel David J. Hacker told The Times Lopez was a victim of religious discrimination.

"He was expressing his faith during an open-ended assignment, but when the professor disagreed with some minor things he mentioned, the professor shut him down," Hacker said. "Basically, colleges and universities should give Christian students the same rights to free expression as other students."

For the record, defending your Christian faith? In a nation founded upon Christian principles? Is not a hate crime! It is both a God and US Constitutionally mandated and protected right! What part of this do these atheist black heart hustlers of Marxist derision not understand?

Answer.....It's not up to them to understand it. They understand it all to well. It is the mush headed dumb masses of America that need to understand it. These are the people that need to understand what their actual and real rights are and in doing so they most desperately need to understand what the rights of all other Americans are.

As citizens of this country, we have the God given right of individual freedom, to like or dislike or state publically whatever is on our mind. The founding father knew and recognized this, just as surely as they knew and recognized the usurpation of their rights under the rein and control of an English king.

Therefore, they not only set out to throw off the coils of foreign bondage, but they also set out to once and for all write down and codify the basic human rights of all who were present and would come after in this nation that we call the United Stated of America!

So take your supposed hate speech and your pretend angst and false allegations and as my grandmother would have once said: "shove it where the sun don't shine!" As I am tired of reading and seeing and listening to how bad of a person that I am, for not embracing openly and accepting the heresies of Marxist ideologies. And I am tired of seeing others accused of the same.

So if you want to hate me for the way I feel about my country and my religion and my rights and my God given ability ability to recognize right from wrong?

I have just a couple of simple remarks to offer you.

Bite Me! And Kiss My Backside!

As I don't put one iota of stock or concern in the meanderings of the mental flotsam, that passes for academic reasoning and the supposed higher levels of intellectual pontificating in today's world.

These people in academia who hustle and defend this heresy, are a disease and they need to be treated as such.

Anecdote:

The language filters of Townhall.com (where I have my other blog) won't allow the use of the word "B A S T A R D" in it's original intent or spelling. Even when it is used in the headlines of references used by the mainstream media.

The Doomsday Clock of The World Economy

While Americans are either still giddy or completely terrified at the prospects of Obama's stimulus plan? People need to be watching what is going on in the rest of the world. They are in far worse shape than we are and it has nothing to do with the American sub prime lending losses.

I have been trying to tell people about this in my limited ability to even comprehend it, much less effectively sound an alarm. Well, read this article below and contemplate what is about to happen to the world and us for that matter for yourself.

Failure to save East Europe will lead to worldwide meltdown The unfolding debt drama in Russia, Ukraine, and the EU states of Eastern Europe has reached acute danger point.

Elephants Painting

If you haven't seen this before, it is absolutely amazing to me.

I Promise

What was all that? That Obama promised back during the campaign?

Borrowed from my friend Rick's blog "Brutally Honest" http://www.brutallyhonest.org/

What was it that Obama promised? I mean back when he was still wining and dining the American voters? Doesn't sound like the same guy now does it. A classic example of don't do as I do if I have ever seen it.

The UAW's Odd Phase

http://cache.jalopnik.com/cars/assets/resources/2007/10/UAW-On-Strike-Chrysler.jpg

GM, Chrysler Labor Talks Slow as Deadline Looms

Let me see if I have this all clear now. The UAW's talks with the American auto makers are not going all that well? The UAW is not prepared to make concessions? Well someone please tell me what has changed over the past three months?

The UAW had the opportunity to work with the auto makers (and always has had that ability). But NOoooooo! We are labor! We are the union! We will bury you! You will bend to our will! And if we bury ourselves in the process? Then so be it! We (the UAW) will teach these pitious paupers called Americans what is what and who is who!

So it looks like SSDD (same shit different day) to me. Absolutely nothing has changed with the influx of supposed bailout money and bridge loans. The big three remain at death's door and the UAW refuses to compromise or budge one inch on their contracts to save either the auto makers or their own members.

I say? It looks like there are going to be several million former labor union loyal and motivated auto workers out of work this year. (permanently) And their strike fund won't get them to Labor Day or buy them any new jobs for that matter.

And in the mean time? All the billions that we as a nation have already pumped into this corrupt union fiasco are lost. It's all gone and will solve and save absolutely nothing.

Just a few musings for my friends

If this doesn't scare you? I don't know what will. The reality is far worse than even the hyped version being hustled in Washington and by the media, in order to get this travesty of a stimulus bill railroaded down America's throat. America is bankrupt and has been bankrupt, ever since we started down the path of LBJ's "great society" in the 1960's. FDR set the stage in 1932, but LBJ kicked it into overdrive with his war on poverty (which we still have no exit strategy for by the way) and between presidents Carter and Clinton and their community reinvestment act and the elimination of the Glass Stegall act, literally removing all checks and balances on Banks and lending institutions (traders), there is absolutely nothing that will now prevent or even forestall our imminent crash into the abyss of financial ruin and complete oblivion.

Our chickens aren't just coming home to roost? The whole damn chicken coup is about to collapse around our heads and everyone who knows our history and the reality of our dire financial dilemma knows that. And as the article below points out, the only alternative to sustain the lunacy is for the treasury to print more money. And for the record? They have already been doing that at a maddening pace. And they will continue just as long as they can get away with it. Have a look at Glen Beck's hockey stick graph on how much money has been printed by the treasury in the last two years and your head will spin.

And as soon as our international creditors (China, Japan, Saudi Arabia) finally accept the reality that we as a nation are utterly and completely broke and can't possibly pay back our debts over the next 1000 years? Then that is when it all comes crashing down around us and we are left with an economy that no longer exists and a currency that will truthfully be worthless.

Deflation and inflation aren't the half of it. Anarchy and chaos are the spawn of what is about to happen in this country and globally. The social chaos may very well begin in Europe, but it will be visited upon us with a vengeance when it arrives here. And the power and force of the entire US military will not be able to stop or curb what will tear across this country like hurricane wind driven wildfire.

I was raised during the era of "duck and cover." When the greatest fear was that we would all be incinerated by a nuclear holocaust. But the financial holocaust that is about to be visited on this nation and the rest of the world, will be just as devastating and far worse in my opinion. At least in a nuclear blast, there is no suffering or lingering for those exposed. But we will all be exposed to this contagion. We are already exposed and there is no cure or vaccine available.
