McCain the RINO

And to think, this sorry ass excuse for a senator could possibly have been president of this country.  which in my opinion? Would have been worse than having Obama in there.  What a sorry POS panty waste traitor to the principles of conservatives John McCain has been revealed to be.
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) channeled his inner-maverick Friday during an appearance on Fox News Channel, repeatedly reminding the conservative network that the government shutdown was brought about by the quixotic effort to halt the Affordable Care Act.
When anchor Martha MacCallum asked him about the White House's handling of the suspension of death benefits to military families, McCain said that while the administration deserves blame it was a GOP-induced shutdown that caused the problem in the first place.
"Let's have a little straight talk, Martha," McCain said. "[The administration] wouldn't have had the opportunity to handle it that way if we had not shut down the government on a fool's errand that we were not going to accomplish. The whole premise of shutting down the government was the repeal of Obamacare. I fought against Obamacare harder than any of the people who wanted to shut down the government."

Its in the mail

Just wanted to let everyone know - today I received my Fiscal Cliff Survival Pack from the White House.

It contains a parachute, an ‘Obama Hope & Change’ bumper sticker, a ‘Bush’s Fault’ yard sign, a ‘Blame Boehner’ poster, a 'Tax the Rich' banner, an application for unemployment, an application for food stamps, a prayer rug, a letter of assignation of debt to my grandchildren, and if that was not enough, there was a discount coupon for a machine that blows smoke up my ass. Everything was “Made in China" and all directions were in Spanish.

Keep an eye out. Yours should arrive soon.

An Open Letter to Barack Obama

In the history of this nation, there have been seventeen times the US government has been shut down by Washington's warring political factions.  Twice in the past one hundred years, this nation, has been viciously and wantonly attacked by acts of war on our own soil. First by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor, then by Islamic terrorists on 9/11.

During these government shutdowns and in the aftermath of these attacks and acts of war, the national monuments belonging to the American people were never closed. The national monuments of this nation were never barricaded and the American people were never prohibited from visiting their national monuments. Prior to the present illegal and absurd acts ordered by you to barricade and close our national monuments, these monuments have never been closed or barricaded even at night.

I say the monuments of the American people, because these monuments belong to the people of the United States of America, they do not belong to you. Neither do these monuments belong to Washington bureaucrats, partisan hack politicians or those who have demonstrated their purposeful dereliction of duty to the American people and the US Constitution, such as you have during your entire tenure as president.

There is no recognized law or constitutionally sanctioned authority that provides the power or authority for you or any president to arbitrarily close our national monuments, absent a demonstrable and imminent threat to the health, safety or welfare of the American people. No sir, the only power or authority that you possess to take such actions, is the power and authority of unbridled conceit and ambivalent arrogance toward the American people. The same unbridled conceit, ambivalence and arrogance toward this nation and its people that you have demonstrated since you first assumed the office of the presidency.

As a veteran who has served this nation in uniform and as a American who has spilled his blood to protect the rights and privileges of other Americans,  I am ashamed to see what you have ordered done to this nation, her citizens and her honored veterans. Ordering the Parks Service to bar Honor Flight WWII veterans in their 80's and 90's from visiting their memorial monument in Washington, is nothing short of a glaring example of your conceited arrogance. Ordering Viet Nam veterans to leave their war memorial  under threat of arrest this week is a furtherance of your demonstrated conceit and arrogance.

You give speeches where you speak of partisan politics and game playing by those in the republican party willing to oppose your arrogance, yet your own petulant acts stand as testament to where your true colors reside when it comes to the interests of the American people and your demonstrated vindictiveness to further your own political goals.

You sir are a sickening example of self serving, conceited and petulant arrogance and you disgust me.

Purposely Inflicted Partisan Pain

As the government shutdown enters its 3rd day, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the Obama administration is purposely set to inflict as much intentional pain on the American people as possible. The unnecessary closing of public parks, public land and public monuments is indicative of the purposely vindictive nature of  the Obama administration and those appointed to manage federal agencies.

Military bases are closing grocery stores, yet the presidents federally managed golf course remains open. Mt. Vernon, a privately owned and operated property has been blockaded and barricaded by the bureaucratic goons of this administration.  I sincerely hope the American people take note of these actions and remember who is responsible.

The National Park Service erected barricades to shut down parking lots surrounding Mount Vernon despite the fact that the tourist destination is privately owned, another example of how the feds are deliberately worsening the government shut down.
Mount Vernon is the former plantation of George Washington and is owned by the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, which doesn’t receive any government funding. The attraction’s official website reads, “NO SHUTDOWN HERE – The Federal government may be shut down, but Washington’s home remains open. Mount Vernon has remained a private non-profit for more than 150 years.”
However, a dispute began when the National Park Service began putting up barricades to block off the facility’s car park, blockading the entrance as well as a spot where tour buses turn around.
The parking lots are co-owned by Mount Vernon and the NPS, but require no immediate maintenance at all, meaning the decision to close them down was completely unnecessary.
The feds even blocked off a small area consisting of just three parking spaces.
After blogger Stephen Gutowski exposed the situation, Newt Gingrich got in on the act, tweeting, “The tour bus turnaround at Mount Vernon has been closed by federal police. This is deliberate effort by Obama to hurt the public. Disgusting.”
Numerous other sites around DC have been unnecessarily closed by the NPS and other federal agencies in what critics are labeling a cynical political stunt which only serves to punish the American people.
In some cases, efforts to shut down these sites actually require more manpower and resources than if they had been left open, highlighting the fact that this is an act of partisan theater by the Obama administration to pin the blame for the government shutdown on Republicans and opponents of Obamacare.

Government shutdown day 2

This webpage will not be shut down due to the government shutdown.  And neither should the majority of the pages the Obama administration has closed to be spiteful and to harm the American people.  Make no mistake, this is vindictiveness because they cannot have their absolute way on all issues and because there are those in congress willing to stand up to this administration.

A Hiatus of Reason

I figure if everyone else can do it, so can I.  So I have taken a hiatus from blogging recently. But here is a bit of my thinking on current events of late.

Sitting here reading the news this morning about the government shut down and I am amazed at the indoctrinated mindless opinions being displayed.  There seems to be a few common threads emerging as to who and what are to blame for our maladies.  The prominent accusation:  "the Tea Party "terrorists" are to blame." Really?  Since when does having an opposing opinion make anyone a terrorist? Oh!  Now I remember. That's what the British would have called the patriots who stood up to taxation without representation. Just as many of those in the Tea Party are presently trying to do. So much for diversity and tolerance.

Since when does being a veteran make anyone a terrorist? Those who served, those who fought for this nation, those who spilled their blood to protect this nation are terrorists?  I don't think so.  No more than I believe that anyone expressing a heartfelt and sincere opinion in opposition to idiocy is a terrorist.

Since when does working for a living all of your life and earning your way make anyone a terrorist?  Or are the only acceptable Americans those who are either on the public dole, or those engaged in raping the system that made this once the greatest nation on earth in the first place.

I am sorry, but the American people have been forced to live without non essentials for the past six years, yet suddenly if there won't be money for parks and recreation, or to pay for those who process all the claims for the largest entitlement society in the history of the world, then suddenly the world is ending and its all the fault of those who have worked the hardest to preserve our nation over the course of their lives.  Tjhose who actually pay the taxes are the bad guys if i am reading all this correctly.

Once again, I am sorry, but I am not buying it. America hasn't had a budget since this president took office and since he as took office, he has increased the deficit by 8 trillion dollars in 5 years. His predecessor increased the deficit by 4 trillion in 8 years, while fighting two wars, yet when this president doubles that rate in four years, no one seems to notice and there are those who continue to want to blame everything on the former president. Fleeing from reality seems to be a reoccurring liberal trait.

I have noticed what has been happening and I know who is responsible.  For the record, I have about as much use for the present republican leadership of this country, as I do for the present democrat leadership of this country. NONE! They are all a bunch of sorry lying partisan hacks who need to be flushed and replaced.  I am not a Tea Party member or a Tea Party supporter, but one thing is for damn sure, I am not a supporter of either of the parties presently running this country either.

I don't know what will need to be done short of economic and societal collapse and a complete  re-building of this nation, but I am pretty damn sure that what we are doing right now ain't working and it isn't going to work. As the saying goes, we are all riding in a hand basket to hell, on a greased rail, in the express lane. So if it takes a government shutdown to force people in this country to pull their heads out of their backsides and say enough is enough, then I say more power to them and let the revolution begin.

Maybe if the traitorous bastards we having occupying Washington are forced out due to the chaos they have created, then maybe just maybe this nation can be salvaged before it is too late.  America has become nothing more than cesspool of individual and special interests centered around the lies of egalitarian socialism and anti Americanism and we are paying the price for our own craven desires. The great melting pot of America past is now nothing more than a bloated pool of egalitarian flotsam that created the illusion that everything should be free and now the true cost of that idiocy is coming due.

So....if you really want to be pissed at someone about what is happening in Washington and the causes behind the government shutting down? Then you should be pissed at yourself for sitting there like a knot on a log and allowing it to happen while you took advantage of the same things that are causing it.  Whether is its government shutdown over partisan bickering today or a complete collapse of our economy under the weight of egalitarian socialist policy tomorrow, either way the collapse of America is going to happen and it is happening right now.
