Looney Louie on racism?

If you want the definition of racism? Don't ask a racist.

'White Right' Wants Obama to Be One-Term President, Farrakhan Says

Looks like Looney Louie Farrakhan is at it again. Albeit late to the party if he was wanting to blame the president's woes on racism. I believe other better situated and more highly placed racists have already beaten him to the punch on being the first to make that assertion. But not to be out done, Looney Louie has chimed in predictably now.

That's right, the master of racial purity of thought and enlightened prophesy has now spoken. And according to the great prophet of black Islam, our dear president is being slandered and smeared by the "white right."

CHICAGO -- Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan claims the "white right" is trying to make Barack Obama a one-term president.

The 76-year-old says the stalling of health care legislation is proof.

Farrakhan is addressing followers of the Chicago-based movement that has embraced black nationalism since its founding. Sunday's keynote speech is before an estimated 20,000 people on the last day of the group's Saviours Day convention.

Farrakhan has vigorously supported Obama. Even so, Obama distanced himself from Farrakhan before his election because of Farrakhan's past statements that were considered anti-Semitic.

During the hourslong speech, Farrakhan boasted of being bigger than a prophet.

What else is there to say. The great prophet has spoken. May Allah and the great Elijah Mohamed be praised by the guiltless words of their still earth bound martyr.

Pelosi's Elitist Perspective

Pelosi: Lawmakers Should Sacrifice Jobs for Health Care

According to madam speaker, 'right thinking' democrats should be more than willing to fall on their swords in order to propel the president's health care reform act to approval. (author's note: right thinking for a democrat is an oxymoron.)

House Speaker Pelosi says lawmakers aren't in Washington for job security but 'to do the job for the American people.'

That is precisely the point, albeit the bizarre comprehension of the lunatic Pelosi, to attempt to twist that reality into something that seems to justify her support of opposing the will of the majority of American people.

She then went on to reiterate that position.

Lawmakers sometimes must enact policies that, even if unpopular at the moment, will help the public, Pelosi said in an interview being broadcast Sunday the ABC News program "This Week."
"We're not here just to self-perpetuate our service in Congress," she said. "We're here to do the job for the American people."

This woman and anyone who agree with her rabbit hole philosophy, should be referred to a psychiatric ward in my opinion. The people have repeatedly spoken and said that they do not want Washington messing with their health care, but Pelosi and the rest refuse to listen.

Which as I pointed out with my link from yesterday's blog, means that their is an entirely separate agenda afoot here. The next six weeks will decide the fate of this country for decades to come IMO. If Pelosi and Reid and Obama are allowed to pass this travesty of a bill, knowing that they will lose their seat in the process? That in and of itself should be all the evidence required, for the American people to condemn the act and all who support it.

The Agenda was Never Health Care

The Agenda was Never Health Care

This is an excellent and thought provoking piece by the author of the 'On The Mark Blog.' As the author rightly points out, there is far more afoot than any simple revamping of our health care system to be more inclusive.

Hope everyone on youtube has a great and Godless day

I found the links to this story over at Brutally Honest this morning. Rick did a service by finding and posting the information.

I decided to follow his links to the self styled video of the woman involved. I encourage all to watch this and at the end, consider what she says in closing.

Those who support this type of supposed right to choose, are Godless IMO.

The Big Gamble?

Obama and Dems Prepare to Ram Health Care Through

By definition, a gamble is a wager based upon the weighing of odds of success over failure. The greater the odds, the larger the payoff or return on the wager.

I believe I may have just figured something out. Health care reform may be Obama's master plan to not only repair the health care system in America? But simultaneously pay off the entire national debt in one fatal swoop.

All the president has to do?

Is to put enough money down at the tables in Las Vegas and wager that the American people will not only not revolt against the health care reform lunacy, but that they will in fact embrace their democrat representatives who concocted this ruse. And in the end that they will elevate them to the status of gods once the health care reform act is finally passed by the democrats.

And as an additional benefit to Obama? Las Vegas will never recover from the loss, if they lose the wager and; therefore, the great domestic nemesis of Obama analogies is forever more eliminated.

Obama strongly signaled at Thursday's summit that Democrats will move forward on a health care overhaul with or without Republicans. At stake are Democrats' political fortunes and the fate of Obama's agenda.

Yep, I'd say that everything is riding on this roll of the dice by the great messiah. So roll them bones mr. president. Spin the wheel of fortune and watch as the world whirls madly by. But come November? Don't be surprised when the people come to repossess their house.

Of course? He can always take the entire gold reserve at Fort Knox and put it on one spin of the big wheel. I'd say? put it all on black.

Wait a minute.....he has already done that. Hasn't he?

Top US Marine rejects Obama plan to repeal gay ban

The head of the US Marines said on Thursday he opposed ending the ban on gays serving openly in the military, the first top officer to break openly with President Barack Obama over the issue.

General James Conway told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he disagreed with Obama's plan to repeal the ban.

"My best military advice to this committee, to the (defense) secretary, and to the president would be to keep the law such as it is."

Of course it helps to be at the pinnacle of your career and realizing that retirement is all that remains. In the Marine Corps, the Commandant is as high as a Marine can go. And that final step is for a term of four years. After which the Commandant must step down and retire.

George Bush appointed General Conway in 2006, therefore, his term expires this year. So he can afford to say what is on his mind, without fear of retribution.

Even so, I am quite sure that the president is not pleased with the general's now publicly stated position in the matter.

Semper Fi General!

Don't the chattering classes and the media realize? That the entitled have no need of either ethics or rules?

Ethics panel finds Rangel broke rules

WASHINGTON – Rep. Charles Rangel, the most powerful tax-writing lawmaker in Congress and a 40-year veteran of Capitol Hill, acknowledged Thursday that an ethics panel has accused him of accepting corporate money for Caribbean trips in violation of House rules.

The findings are certain to raise questions of whether Rangel, a New York Democrat, can continue as Ways and Means Committee chairman in an election year. Democrats took over the House in 2006 on a campaign promise to "end a culture of corruption" in Congress that they blamed on 12 years of Republican rule.

The ethics panel also ended another widespread investigation Thursday, saying it found no violations of House rules by seven lawmakers who steered government money and projects and contracts to favored companies that donated to their re-election campaigns.

A copy of the letters and an accompanying report on them were obtained by The Associated Press. All seven — five Democrats and two Republicans — are or were senior members of the House Appropriations Committee.

The most prominent of the them was the late Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., the former chairman of the defense appropriations subcommittee who died earlier this month. The other six lawmakers exonerated in that probe are Reps. Norman Dicks, D-Wash.; Jim Moran, D-Va.; Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio; Peter Visclosky, D-Ind.; Todd Tiahrt, R-Kan.; and C.W. "Bill" Young, R-Fla.

The appropriations went to companies represented by a now-defunct lobbying firm known as PMA Group — formerly Paul Magliocchetti Associates.

The Great Mediator

I have to admit, I entered into today's presidential proposal for a health care summit, with more than a great amount of trepidation. Having now witnessed the day's media coverage of the event, I must say that the trepidation that I initially felt was both well founded and an appropriate consideration for this day in history.

I have witnessed many things in my life, but today's purported summit approach to health care reform legislation was a first. I can only view what I saw today as not so much an attempt at conciliatory effort on the part of the president, as an overt attempt to grab as many souls as possible to take along for the ride, as this pig of a bill and legislation is pushed forward by this administration regardless of what the people want.

Surely there were several instances throughout the afternoon of both high and staged drama on both sides of the political isle. John McCain not only made himself out to be an idiot by his remarks during his initial comments of claiming that "we" were sent here by the people for change, but he was ultimately chastened by Obama in a manner that at the least in my opinion, left the president coming off as the learned and experienced victor over the discombobulated mumblings of an opponent who was seriously out classed and demonstrably out of his depth.

The bottom line to me of this entire summit charade came to it's true clarity during the last few minutes when the president addressed his perspectives and clarified what he sees and how he sees the process proceeding from today in his closing remarks.

Obama in as much told the assembled players (senators and congressmen) and the American viewing public, that he would in essence entertain reviewing the issues that the republicans had brought to the table, however, he was not interested in achieving his goals on health care either incrementally or piecemeal. The president went on to conclude, that in as much as was possible, he intends to push forward his version of health care reform legislation in the next four to six weeks and that anyone who was not on board with his vision on the legislation would be cast aside. He went on further to conclude that , he would be content to allow the matter to be settled by the American people come this November and the midterm elections as it concerned whose version of the health care reform was favored by the public.

While listening to Glen Beck earlier today on his radio program, I heard Beck imploring republicans to just let the democrats have their way on this as it concerned their threat of the nuclear option of reconciliation on the health care bill. Beck's argument being that the democrats wailing over continued republican refusal to come on board, was tantamount only to their desire to obtain republican fingerprints at the crime scene of the final version of this bill.

I have to agree. For as Beck rightly pointed out, the consequences of republicans accepting this bartered health care proposal on any level with the democrats, will be the end of all parties involved once the people have their opportunity to speak come November.

The people have been speaking to this bill for weeks now and they continue to speak overwhelmingly against it. Regardless of the polls and the push polls and the liberal democrat media controlled 'do overs' that have been employed and re-employed again and again in the democrats attempt to sell this rotting and stank legislative proposal.

And any fool who is looking at the national political landscape can plainly see the gathering clouds of consequence for the democrats. And yet they continue forward with their lunacy, only now they are wild eyed in their attempts and desires to take as many republicans with them into the great abyss as they possibly can.

This president and the leaders of liberal progressive socialism in America (the democrat party) have turned a deaf ear to the people as it concerns their desires on health care, reform or otherwise. Make no mistake, what we saw today in the form of a supposed health care reform summit sponsored by this president and his party, was nothing less than a desperate act by a desperate party and a desperate president to gain the complicit participation of fools who might be willing to join in on this political death march.

As Beck rightly points out and as Harry Reid attempted to famously deny earlier today, the democrats have the ability to pass this pig of a bill by reconciliation on a vote of fifty one votes in the senate. Beck and many others have rightly pointed out, that is precisely the path and course that this bill should take if it is to be forced upon the American people. But make no mistake, if the American people are to be raped by this act of parliamentary malfeasance on the part of the democrats and their president, then all who are and were involved will be held accountable and that includes any and all republicans who may be so foolish as to not see the gamesmanship afoot by this deceiver that we now have seated as the president of this nation.

No mr. president, you can dress this pig in the finest silk and linen that you can muster and you can paint the face with the greatest artistry that can me summoned, but in the end, I and many many millions of other Americans recognize the ruse that is afoot and the methodologies being employed today by your deception. I can only hope that there are many conservative minded leaders left in the republican party who will also see this sham for what it is and turn away from it as they should.

And their retort if any to accusatory chants by the left that they are the party of no? Should be answered with a resounding "on this issue, we are not the party of no, we are the party of hell no!"

What was played out today in Washington across the street from the White House, was nothing short of political high drama, aimed at the cluttered and unthinking minds of those that it was specifically designed for. Those who get their thoughts and their water cooler conversational opinions for the next day, each and every day from the mind numbing media that masquerades as our supposed guardians of freedom and independent thinking in America.

Well I for one am not buying the ploys

Barack Obama was as clear in the end today as I have seen him on anything since taking office. He looked the GOP leadership dead in the eyes today and never flinched. And he told them precisely what he intends to do and that he intends to do it with or without their support, come hell or high water. To which I say fine. Let him do it as he described it and laid it out for the nation today. Let him and Emanuel and Axelrod and the others ram this down America's throat. Just as long as once the retching begins? America can look back and clearly see those responsible for these traitorous acts.

Illegal workers missed 54% of the time

Question.....is there any job or responsibility that this administration is 'handling well enough?'

I don't believe so.

And if they are missing this many illegal Mexicans? How many Islamic extremist are slipping through and walking right past us daily.

E-Verify Misses Half of Illegal Workers, Report Finds

WASHINGTON - The system Congress and the Obama administration want employers to use to help curb illegal immigration is failing to catch more than half the number of unauthorized workers it checks, a research company has found.

The online tool E-Verify, now used voluntarily by employers, wrongly clears illegal workers about 54 percent of the time, according to Westat, a research company that evaluated the system for the Homeland Security Department. E-Verify missed so many illegal workers mainly because it can't detect identity fraud, Westat said.

"Clearly it means it's not doing it's No. 1 job well enough," said Mark Rosenblum, a researcher at the Migration Policy Institute, a nonpartisan, Washington think tank.

And the band plays on and their own polls can't even be pushed adn manipulated to prop up the realities being presented daily by this inept administration.

Clinton says domestic politics hurting US abroad

Funny......never seemed to bother them for the eight years they spent bashing Bush while waging their own political battles against the republicans.

Clinton says domestic politics hurting US abroad

WASHINGTON (AP) - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is complaining that domestic political battles are hurting the president's foreign policy goals and damaging America's image abroad.

Clinton was testifying before a congressional committee Wednesay when she said fights between the White House and Congress had led to "gridlock" in appointing officials to critical positions, including those with key foreign policy and international assistance responsibilities. That has created confusion among friends and allies.

She told the Senate Appropriations Committee that delays and holds placed on the nominations of several ambassadorial and senior State Department positions had been problematic.

Found this video earlier today that basically compliments what Hillary is saying. (especially if you like to laugh)

A Bloated Moat

US diplomats add a moat to their expenses at $1bn London embassy

In case any are curious where to look for truth in today's media, simply have a peek over the pond at our cousins in the UK. Do they have their own set of problems? Certainly they do, but they also tend to give the most truthful and accurate reporting of goings on in America. Particularly as it concerns politics.

Enter today's report from the Times on Line and their observations of our latest financial debacle.

The United States has unveiled plans for its new $1 billion high-security embassy in London — the most expensive it has ever built.

The problem you see.....is that while we are running a 14 trillion dollar deficit and spending money like a drunken river boat gambler, the Brits are only looking at an approximate 700 billion deficit and a rise this year of perhaps an additional 12 billion giver or take in their deficit.

So you see, when they look and see the Yanks splurging a billion dollars on a new embassy? Well naturally they are concerned. But never fear, a single billion dollars is a pittance to those in the trenches in congress. I would imagine that they can spend that much today while most Americans are having their lunch. But read on.

The decision to abandon the former site in Grosvenor Square by 2016 came after a prolonged battle with residents angered by the security measures demanded after the September 11 attacks. More than a hundred residents took out a full-page advertisement in The Times to oppose tighter measures that they said would leave the area more vulnerable to attack.

So there you have it. It is a simple abatement issue and money well spent apparently.

The new embassy, on a former industrial site behind Battersea power station known for its gay clubs, will be designed by Kieran Timberlake, the Philadelphia architect.

How fitting.

But then comes the real beauty of it all.

A moat 30 metres (100ft) wide and rolling parkland will separate the building from the main road, protecting it from would-be bombers and removing the need for the blast barriers that so dismayed the people of Mayfair.

I wonder.....how many of those involved in the design? Are 'gamers' and those with allegiance to RPG's. those who frequently find themselves in dreamscapes battling dragons and such.

I imagine there are many.

None the less....we are going to have the literal best looking and most formidable embassy in all the lands once this castle is completed.

I wonder......will they put any crocodiles in the moat? Or would that be to gauche?

Perhaps we could enlist a few gay men from the synchronized swim team to swim and patrol our moat. Would be Jihadist would certainly want to avoid any close proximity to a defense such as that.

It's Another beautiful day in the neighborhood

New Climate Agency Head Tried to Suppress Data, Critics Charge

It's like Yogi Berra said.....'it's Deja Vu all over again.' Or as Mr. Rogers might lament.....'it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

The scientist who has been put in charge of the Commerce Department's new climate change office is coming under attack from both sides of the global warming debate over his handling of what they say is contradictory scientific data related to the subject.

Well of course he is. To begin with, he isn't pushing the socialist manifesto of secular humanism and man's obvious impact on the environment to satisfy many in the community of chicken little. But he is doing his best to cover for his 'peers' and those others engaged in the big lie of socialist environmentalism.

And apparently? He has been for over the past ten years.

Karl, who has played a pivotal role in key climate decisions over the past decade, has kept a low profile as director of National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) since 1998, and he has led all of the NOAA climate services since 2009. His name surfaced numerous times in leaked "climate-gate" e-mails from the University of East Anglia, but there was little in the e-mails that tied him to playing politics with climate data. Mostly, the e-mails show he was in the center of the politics of climate change decisions

And now that he has been tapped by the messiah to be the main guy at NOAA and the one to correlate all the 'data' that has been and is both collected and manufactured, I am sure that he will be the one person best situated to provide a fair and objective review of 'all' of the 'science' surrounding global warming and climate change.

I can hear Mr. Rogers humming right now.

It's the oldest Washington stunt in the book

I caught this earlier today while listening to Rush on the way home. I tried to find the youtube splibs that cover it, but as usual, youtube is covering for the little man by keeping his past speeches and such scrambled from effectively being searched by key words.

Here is Rush's transcript of the audios that he played earlier today.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: this blue ribbon commission business, this is kind of fun. Let's go to the audio sound bites. During the campaign, Obama ridiculed McCain's idea for a fiscal commission, a blue ribbon commission, to study our debt. McCain proposed it, too, and Obama, September 16th, 2008, in Golden, Colorado, said...

OBAMA: This morning, instead of offering up concrete plans to solve these issues, Senator McCain offered up the oldest Washington stunt in the book: You pass the buck to a commission to study the problem. (laughter) Here's the thing. This isn't 9/11. We know how we got into this mess. What we need now is leadership that gets us out. (cheers and applause) I'll provide it, John McCain won't, and that's the choice for Americans in this election.

RUSH: Okay. So September 16th, 2008, it's the oldest Washington stunt in the book, you pass the buck to a commission to study the problem. Here's Obama last Thursday.

OBAMA: Alan Simpson and Erskine Bowles are taking on the impossible. They're going to try to restore reason to the fiscal debate and come up with answers as cochairs of the new National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform. I'm asking them to produce clear recommendations on how to cover the costs of all federal programs by 2015 and to meaningfully improve our long-term fiscal picture.

RUSH: It's the oldest Washington stunt in the book and just a year and a half ago, Barry Obama was ridiculing it.

"ill conceived or not well formulated."

Rashad Hussain, President Obama's new envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference, and Sami al-Arian, who pleaded guilty in 2006 to conspiracy to aid a terrorist organization. (FNC/AP)

President Obama's new Muslim envoy Rashad Hussain admitted Friday to once defending a man who later pleaded guilty to conspiring to aid a terrorist group -- an admission that contradicts earlier claims from the White House that the quotes had been mistakenly attributed to Hussain.

Hussain, named by Obama as an envoy to the Organization of Islamic Conference, said Friday his comments at the time were "ill conceived or not well formulated."

I am so pleased to finally see these complex and mind boggling realities being explained in a manner that I can both understand and relate to.

Thank goodness....what a breath of fresh air!

Now, can we please begin by applying these same principles to all of our conflicts with reason?

Where should we begin?

What say we apply these simple explanations to our little buddy president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Is there any doubt that many of his remarks of the past few years have been both ill conceived and not well formulated? I mean seriously, should his failures of communication be held against him?

And what of our own president and his on going remarks concerning Las Vegas? Is Barack Obama a recidivist 'ill conceiver?' I certainly think so. Can I get an amen brother!

So you see.......as has been noted for generations, intent is like beauty. It is in the eye of the beholder and therefore, there is no need in placing any extra burden on those who don't initially appear to be expressing themselves properly.

Give them a chance! Allow the secular humanist principle of relativity to come into play. Then apply an ample measure of perceived fairness to all encounters? And the first thing you know, we are all sitting around plucking daisies and singing we are the world and imagine.

I feel so much better now. It's as if this huge weight of blackness has been lifted from my eyes. And I must admit, these standard issue rose colored glasses don't hurt either.

Official Silence: As America is Kept in The Dark

News began to leak late yesterday afternoon, that there has been an ongoing investigation since before Christmas and Fort Jackson South Carolina.

Army Investigates Alleged Attempt by Soldiers to Poison Food at Fort Jackson

CBN Exclusive: Five Muslim Soldiers Arrested at Fort Jackson in South Carolina

One might think that a story like this would be a major news story and that it would be a lead story at all levels of main stream reporting. But one would be wrong apparently.

Apparently this investigation began on the heels of the Fort Hood massacre and before the Christmas day panty bomber ever made the news. So why have Americans been kept in the dark about this investigation by the Army and the Department of Defense and Defense Secretary Gates?

Could this be the reason......

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.

The men are suspected of trying to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson.

I am waiting to see what the main stream media does with this story today. Something tells me that the answer to that is already evident.

Under Seige: The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America

Charlotte Iserbyt. As a teacher and educator, she was trained to identify "the resistors." In this nine minute interview, watch and observe, as she describes the methodology and the master plan for destroying not only the American education process, but also how the methodology was and continues to be implemented to destroy our heritage, our faith and history.

Blooms Taxonomy: Listen as she explains precisely how Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning Domains are utilized and have been utilized to dumb down and destroy all cognitive reasoning and resistance to the secular humanist and egalitarian multicultural take over of America

According to Ms.Iserbyt's repeated exposure and training in Bloom's philosophy, "The purpose of education, is to change the thoughts, actions and feelings of students."

Bloom's Taxonomy further states: "Good teaching is challenging the student's fixed beliefs."

And according to Ms. Iserbyt, Bloom openly bragged in his text on behavioral modification, that "he can take a student believing in God and his country, to being an Atheist and not believing in his country in an hour."

And these are the very people that we have allowed to infect our children for two generations now. The radical revolutionaries pf the 1960's like William Ayers. And as an example....how is William Ayers looked upon today.

"is an American elementary education theorist and a former leader in the movement that opposed U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. He is known for his 1960's activism as well as his current work in education reform, curriculum, and instruction. In 1969 he co-founded the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary" Wikipedia reference

And this woman has seen it done in practical application and she has been witness to it for decades. As both a teacher and an administrator of a system that has been designed to infiltrate and destroy the values, virtue and morality of America.

Iserbyt further explains: "Common Unity...common unity, that's what they call it, it has no room for the individual."

One of the most eye opening and interesting nine minutes of real education that you will soon spend. Are you smarter than a fifth grader? After seeing and hearing what this woman has to say and after grasping the methodology that she is revealing, perhaps you will understand why America is failing miserably and our children are becoming a society of assimilated zombies. Perhaps you will understand why we have raised two generations of those who replicate an regurgitate the thoughts that they are told is approved thinking.

What this woman describes is nothing less than the systematic propagandizing and subversion of America on a systemic level. And this infiltration has been underway in America for generations. Is there any wonder why our children of the past two generations have grown up hating their country? Is it any wonder why apologists and global charismatics like Barack Obama have succeeded in duping the masses in America?

Those of us in the wilderness who have been trying to sound the warning know all too well the applications and methodologies of those that seek to destroy this nation. Beginning with the application of Hitler's "Big Lie" principal, and proceeding forth through the practical applications of methodology via the practiced mechanisms pf Bloom's taxonomy and the teachings of Saul Alinsky (the 12 rules for radicals) and the other well known radical Marxist of the twentieth century.

Tea Bags Ain't Bean Bags Mr. President

Clinton plotting tea bag counterattack

This is an excellent piece on the plans afoot in the democrat party right now and who is leading it.

When tea party, 9/12 and townhall protests and rallies first erupted on the national scene, they were derided by national politicos as astroturf or a small fringe movement. Lefty journalists at MSNBC, CNN and elsewhere laughed away the movement with derogatory, pornographic references.

Then, Scott Brown won election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts. No one is laughing anymore. In fact, Democrats are facing political annihilation this November. Not only do Democrats face the possibility of losing their congressional majorities, massive losses in state house races could jeopardize redistricting next year and set back the progressive agenda for at least a decade.

So, the Clinton Empire is planning to strike back.

Careful there sparky. Don't fall victim to the same idiocy that cost your wife the presidency. That feeling of political superiority and that 'Massa Bill knows best' how to address politics and the progressive agenda in the 21st century.

I for one believe that Clinton and those like him in the party, have already grossly underestimated the sentiments and concerns of the majority of Americans. And most definitely the election of Scott Brown is emblematic of the undercurrent that is presently flowing all across this country.

Attribute it entirely to the people's present dissatisfaction with Obama at your own peril Mr. Clinton, but I for one believe that it runs deeper than that. And while you are at it, you can amass your targeting specialist (political assassins) like James Carville and others as you wish. And you can set about to attempt to discount and demonize those involved in this newly found political activism of the right. But do be mindful that you are playing with dynamite Mr. President and do me mindful that you procee3d at your own political peril (and that of your party).

In my opinion, Barack Obama has joined the ranks of the infamous Japanese planners of WWII as it concerns his arrogance. And as the Japanese own admirable later noted, 'I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant.' Obama and the democrats have awakened a sleeping giant. The sleeping giant of American political anger. And with the continued poking and prodding of working and middle class Americans by those like Pelosis and Reid and the lunacy of those like Barney Frank and Barbara Boxer and their leader Obama? That giant is becoming more and more aroused by the day and the resolve is materializing daily across America.

And Clinton's reaction and response to that reality and resolve is to set about to plan to identify and attack those associated with the Tea Party movement?

Big Government has learned that Clintonistas are plotting a “push/pull” strategy. They plan to identify 7-8 national figures active in the tea party movement and engage in deep opposition research on them. If possible, they will identify one or two they can perhaps ‘turn’, either with money or threats, to create a mole in the movement. The others will be subjected to a full-on smear campaign. (Has MSNBC already been notified?)

Big Government has also learned that James Carville will head up the effort.

From my perspective, this stands to be something truly worth watching unfold between now and 2012.

And as noted in this article.

The tea party movement could evolve into a new political realignment, one founded on a belief in limited government and less government interference in the economy. The Progressive agenda, which has been painstakingly built up over the last three decades, could be left in tatters.

As the Clinton’s know, “politics ain’t beanbag.” Expect the counterattack soon. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Tea bags ain't bean bags Messer Clinton.

And your reward maybe as suggested. Your end result may be to drive the liberal progressive movement into the wilderness for the next thirty years.

As a committed conservative American and a patriot? I will be looking to identify anything that I can do personally and individually, to see that you and your party succeed at it's own oblivion.

Obama's Tax Panel Now Commeth

Obama to Create Deficit Panel as U.S. Debt Soars

It took a little over a year, but it looks like the president is going ahead with at least one promise. and that promise is to create a panel aimed (ostensibly) at reducing the deficit. However, in reality? This presidential blue ribbon panel will be nothing more than a rubber stamp for Obama to do what he intended to do all along. Which was to raise taxes.

Forget about all the campaign promises of the 2008 campaign and forget about all the assurances that he would never raise taxes on anyone other than the 'evil rich,' all bets are off now. He knows that he cannot finance his socialist dreams of grandeur in the absence of dramatic financial outlays. And he full expects to achieve his dreams on the backs of those who were foolish enough to buy into his dream weave presidency.

The bottom line, there has yet to be a president since the inception of the federal income tax, who has raised taxes for any purpose, absent an increase in federal spending. The formula is really quite simply. If you intend to raise taxes in order to reduce deficits and balance the budget? Then you have to cut and reduce spending. Yet the two have yet to have ever happened. Regardless of the smoke and mirrors put forth to give that impression.

Barack Obama looked the American people in the eye on not one but dozens of occasions and told them, that he would never raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 a year. Which in retrospect? Makes Bill Clinton's like about never having had sex 'with that woman, Miss Lewinski' look like a grade school white lie.

And there is something else about this president and those presently in congress and the senate. They know that they are going against the wishes of the American people on taxes and cap and trade and health care and they know that they have turned their backs on the faltering economy, yet they persist in their determination to succeed in forcing their socialism on America.

Barack Obama has already seen the writing on the wall. He has all but conceded that what he is doing will potentially cost him a second term. And he has in as much said that he doesn't care. Not unlike Harry Reid who is looking to be defeated in November and a myriad of others representatives and senators who have cast their lot with the devil, knowing all along that they will not survive the aftermath. Some are beginning to bailout in advance and they are conceding that they will not stand for reelection.

Meanwhile, Obama is carrying forth with his promise of his own version of a trilateral commission. He has gone on record and stated that he doesn't want to take any option off the table, as it concerns the options for reducing the deficit are concerned with his deficit panel.

Should we pretend to be surprised when this commission comes back tot he president in a few months and tells him, that he needs to raise taxes on the middle class? Should we be surprised when he looks at us with a straight face and consoles us with one of his teleprompter speeches? And attempts to assuage any and all culpability and guilty that he has over doing it? I don't think so.

Make no mistake, this panel that he intends to empower this week, will have the unlimited ability to do precisely what he directs them to do. And once they have completed their task, our dear president will attempt to sell their scheme to America as if it was all arrived at via an honest effort and much soul searching.

Americans had better get with the program right now. They had better begin turning the screws on those representative who will listen. They had better communicate to those senators who will listen. and they had better send a strong and clear message to both congress and the White House.

That message is really very simple. Stop the socialist lunacy. Stop the tax and spend mentality. Make the honest effort to rein in the liberal socialist juggernaut and tax increases won't be necessary. Americans already pay enough taxes to support half of the world. and there in lies the problem.

We need to cease supporting the rest of the world. We need to stop supporting those who refuse to help themselves domestically and we need to have a complete re-accounting of how our money is spent. What we don't need, is some fluffed up socialist cheering squad commissioned by this or any other president, to tell us that we need to be taxed further so that they can spend more.

Read my lips mr. president.....no more taxes!

Obama's master plan is to be revealed today.
Former White House chief of staff Erskine Bowles and former Republican Senate Whip Alan Simpson would lead the panel, a senior administration official said Tuesday. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the president's executive order creating the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform had not been announced.

The deficit spiked to an extraordinary $1.4 trillion last year and could top that figure this year as the struggling economy puts a big dent in tax revenues. Even worse from the perspective of economists and deficit hawks, the medium-term deficit picture is for deficits to hit around $1 trillion a year for the foreseeable future.

Obama and his economic team have said repeatedly that this is not sustainable. He told lawmakers during his State of the Union address that he would go around their vote and appoint a version of a deficit commission.

Obama's version of the commission is a weak substitute for what he really wanted: a panel created by Congress that could force lawmakers to consider unpopular remedies to reduce the debt, including curbing politically sensitive entitlements like Social Security and Medicare.

As rejected, the bipartisan 18-member panel would have worked for much of the year and, if 14 members agree, report a deficit reduction blueprint after the November elections that would be voted on before the new Congress convenes next year. The 14 would have to include at least half of the panel's Republicans.

We Can't Afford it

From the desk of 3rd District Georgia congressman Lynn Westmoreland

Georgia's seven Republican U.S. House members have written a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressing their concern about a proposed expansion of Medicaid under a government takeover of health care.

The letter, joined by Lynn, states that Georgia's state budget cannot bear the burden of huge new entitlement spending mandated by Washington:

“Georgia has estimated that the cost of the House-passed unfunded mandates, for just new enrollees, would cost a staggering $2.64 billion under the House version. … Georgia currently cannot afford the cost of expanding Medicaid under the House and Senate bills. Due to the crippled economy, Georgia is facing significant budget problems and has been forced to make cuts to current services including K-12 education, public assistance, corrections, transportation and others."

Lynn pointed out that the state is already facing tough choices on spending.

“Perhaps Speaker Pelosi, who believes a government program is the answer to every problem, can tell us which Georgia teachers she would like to fire, which state employees she’d like to lay off, how many prisoners we should release or how much we should jack up college tuition so that Georgia can find the money to pay for this Medicaid increase,” Lynn said. “We can’t print money for the state budget. We’re facing tough choices – and the choices are not between which expensive entitlement we want to expand.”

Lynn was my congressman for years, before the gerrymandering of Georgia congressional districts aimed at creating the illusions of egalitarian fairness.

Georgia's republican delegation is absolutely right, we can't print money and we cannot afford the further meddling of the socialists Pelosi and Reid and their scams to further burden the American people with socialist heresy.

A Covert War

Taliban's Top Military Commander Captured

The Taliban's top military commander has been arrested in a joint CIA-Pakistani operation in Pakistan in a major victory against the insurgents as U.S. troops push into their heartland in southern Afghanistan, officials said Tuesday.

I say thank God! (If they can praise Allah? I can thank God.)

The bottom line....is that (we) supposedly have this guy in custody. And (we) apparently have had him for the past ten days. According to the recently released news reports "he is talking." Which brings a lot of questions to my mind.

Not the least of which being the first question. Which is complicitness of the media. Yes, I say that there is complicitness of media afoot here. According to these reports, the New York Times has known since his capture that he was in American/Pakistani custody, yet they sat on the story in order to provide American intelligence agencies the opportunity to interrogate him.

This is certainly the right thing to do and an admirable assessment made by someone in the NYT. But who and why made that decision. And why now. I raise this question for the single most reason of their previous history and consideration on two points. The first consideration being that the reports today say that Pakistani officials could have captured this individual at any time they wanted to. Which raises the question of why didn't they capture him before now.

The next and more important question in my mind, is why the New York Times and others elected to print the intelligence information that we had at the time on Osama Bin Ladin? Specifically, the fact that we had zeroed in on his cell phones and were in the process of taking him down to capture him.

That news release by the NYT immediately lost all hope and ability for our intelligence and military forces of ever capturing Bin Ladin at that time or subsequently. Yet now? With Barack Obama in the White House, the NYT is more than willing to do "the right thing" and keep their mouths shut while we hunt these bastards down. Am I one of the few who even sees the hypocrisy of practice being displayed by the media here?

Don't get me wrong, I am sincerely glad that we now have this murdering bastard in our hands. But I can't help but wonder how many others we could have had, including Bin Ladin and how many American lives could have been saved, if not for a complicit liberal media that is politically driven and was dead set against everything that the Bush administration put forth.

"If Pakistani officials had wanted to arrest him, they could have done it at any time," said Sher Mohammad Akhud Zada, the former governor of Afghanistan's Helmand province and a member of the Afghan parliament. "Why did they arrest him now?"

That is a troubling observation to me. Much as it is that the NYT's actions almost nine years ago, allowed Bin Ladin to escape into the obscure Pakistani border regions where he remains free to this day.

Make no mistake about it, there is now a covert war afoot in Pakistan. A war that would have been immediately denounced had it been launched by the previous administration (when it should have been). But it is being carried out there now under a news blackout by a complicit media that is doing all in it's power to prop up their hollow man president.

I for one can't wait to see how this capture plays out over the next several weeks. And how it will be portrayed by this administration and the media. I am a firm believer in the old adage....."that it is amazing what can be accomplished, when no one is concerned with who is going to get the credit for it." But I cannot help but believe that the recent successes of this administration have been a construct of a complicit media.

And if the following is revealed to be the truth?

"We totally deny this rumor. He has not been arrested," Zabiullah Mujahid told the AP by telephone. He said the report was Western propaganda aimed at undercutting the Taliban fighting against an offensive in the southern Afghan town of Marjah, a Taliban haven.

"The Taliban are having success with our jihad. It is to try to demoralize the Taliban who are on jihad in Marjah and all of Afghanistan," he said.

Then the credibility of this administration and it's media are in serious doubt of ever being believed again. .

Someone Inform The Vice President

Al Qaeda Looking to Recruit English Speakers, Women

Al Qaeda in Yemen is actively recruiting English-speaking individuals, intelligence officials told Fox News on Monday, saying that investigators are looking for people who are more like Americans, having been born in the United States or Canada.

"Anyone who can fit in and not attract suspicion" is desirable to the terror network right now, said one official.

Perhaps someone in the NSA or CIA needs to get Joe a Blackberry and bring the man up to speed with the rest of the world. Maybe even take him to see Avatar afterward, just to jerk him into the present a bit more.

Aside from making a complete idiot out of himself (once again) last week, Joe Biden's lack of grasp of the threat of terrorism against America is terrifying in and of itself.

The American intelligence mechanism has been seriously damaged by this administration and it's laissez-faire approach to dealing with known threats and known enemies to America. Yet even so, our people on the ground in Yemen and elsewhere are seeing what is shaping up in our future.

An investigative source also said that among those attracting attention by the intelligence community are women recruits. The next wave of terrorists may include Western women, possibly Canadian, with forged documents. The use of women would be seen an evolution in Al Qaeda's strategy from the failed Christmas Day attack by accused "underpants bomber" Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

Cleric Anwar al-Awlaki is considered the top "talent spotter." He is tied to three of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers, the Fort Hood shooting and Flight 253, which carried Abdulmutallab.

A former senior intelligence official who first identified Awlaki as a threat in 2008 said he believes Awlaki has hundreds of followers in the United States, so the focus of the intelligence community is not solely on overseas operatives but on people inside the United States.

Abdulmutallab, who is educated and born into a wealthy Nigerian family, told investigators that about 20 or 30 more people like him were training in Yemen. Yemen is also where English-speaking, Muslim converts go to learn Arabic, so one U.S. official said Abdulmutallab's information will be vetted thoroughly.

However, that official said just because someone is studying Arabic in Yemen doesn't mean he or she has made the leap to terrorism.

"I think we constantly have to be on our guard, the enemy is adapting," said Rep. Peter King, the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee. "We have to look for not just the usual suspects, if you will, but obviously Al Qaeda is going to try to find people who would blend into our society, people who can speak English, speak it fluently, and you know not give the appearance of what we identify as the traditional Al Qaeda suspect."

A Tale of Two Faces

Would it be correct to assert that Barack Obama is two faced? Or that many of those he has surrounded himself with and placed into high government cabinet positions are also?

You decide. IMO, this is certainly a peek in the box of how these people have operated and how they intend to operate.

Last winter, when Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. called the United States a “nation of cowards” for avoiding frank conversations on race, President Obama mildly rebuked him in public.

Taking the Heat “I have to do a better job in explaining the decisions that I have made,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said.

Out of view, Mr. Obama’s aides did far more. Rahm Emanuel and Jim Messina, the White House chief and deputy chief of staff, proposed installing a minder alongside Mr. Holder to prevent further gaffes — someone with better “political antennae,” as one administration official put it.

When he heard of the proposal at a White House meeting, Mr. Holder fumed; soon after, he confronted his deputy, David W. Ogden, who knew of the plan but had not alerted his boss, according to several officials. Mr. Holder fought off the proposal, signaling that his job was about the law, not political messaging.

A year later, he is no longer so certain. His most important plan — to try Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the self-described architect of the Sept. 11 attacks, in federal court in Manhattan — collapsed before it even began, after support from the public and local officials withered.

Now Mr. Holder has switched from resisting what he had considered encroachment by White House political officials to seeking their guidance. Two weeks ago, he met with advisers there to discuss how to unite against common foes. They agreed to allow Mr. Holder, who has not appeared on a Sunday talk show since entering office, to speak out more; he agreed to let them help hone his message.

The political attacks over terrorism cases were “starting to constrain my ability to function as attorney general,” he said in an interview last week. “I have to do a better job in explaining the decisions that I have made,” Mr. Holder also said, adding, “I have to be more forceful in advocating for why I believe these are trials that should be held on the civilian side.”

But now Mr. Holder is in the awkward position of pushing for an approach that he acknowledges he would accept defeat on. The administration hopes to announce a new venue for the Sept. 11 trial within three weeks, he said last Tuesday. But Congress could pass legislation requiring that Mr. Mohammed be tried by a military commission, or Mr. Obama himself could change direction.

“You always have to be flexible,” Mr. Holder said, allowing that justice could be served in a commission trial, too, and praising generals who “adapt their game plans” as the situation changes.

In interviews, White House officials uniformly conveyed support, even sympathy, for Mr. Holder. “He’s in a very tough spot,” said David Axelrod, a senior adviser to Mr. Obama, who added that he would help Mr. Holder with a communications strategy only after the legal decisions had been made. “All he wants to do is bring these people to justice.”

The coming weeks could determine the ultimate shape of Obama-era detainee policy. They could also define the sort of attorney general Mr. Holder turns out to be: how unyielding, how capable of persuading those inside the administration — including Mr. Obama — and outside to accept his judgment.

He arrived determined to assert the Justice Department’s independence. A self-described “student of history,” he outfitted his conference room with reminders of what it takes to join the ranks of the most respected attorneys general: portraits of lionized predecessors, including some who defied their presidents or restored the Justice Department after scandal.

But Mr. Holder acknowledges that national security crises make it harder to answer the perennial question of where the Justice Department’s authority stops and the White House’s begins. And he says he wants to avoid a repeat of the sometimes strained relationship that former Attorney General Janet Reno, whom he served as deputy, had with President Bill Clinton.

“I’m part of this team,” he said, adding, “I’ve experienced the other side, where the department has lost touch with the administration that it was a part of, and I’m not going to let that happen.”

When it comes to traditional criminal justice issues, like white-collar crime and sentencing reform, Mr. Holder holds views accrued over decades as a prosecutor, judge, Justice Department official and lawyer in private practice.

But his national security résumé is short, his genial temperament may be unsuited to political combat, and his approach to terrorism is guided more by case-specific pragmatism than an overarching ideology reducible to sound-bites.

“Eric is an on-the-merits guy,” said Reid Weingarten, a Washington lawyer and a close friend from Mr. Holder’s early days at the department, three decades ago. “Case by case. Does that work in a changing world?”

There are two more pages that are well worth the read IMO.

Cheney on Palin

While parrying with the host of ABC's "This Week" today, former vice president Dick Cheney certainly had a full plate of hot button issues to address and Bush era policy decisions to defend during the interview. Of course he felt compelled to address the Obama administrations handling of the war on terror and it's incessant attacks against him and former president George Bush.

And of course the former VP had to address the most recent lunacy of the current VP Joe Biden as it concerned his remarks concerning Iraq and the Obama administration taking responsibility for the success of something that they opposed from the beginning.

But something I found particularly telling about the interview with Dick Cheney today, was not so much what he had to say concerning Joe Biden and the Obama administration, as much as what he had to say almost obliquely, concerning Sarah Palin and the 2012 race.

When asked about former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska's presidential qualifications, Cheney said,
"I haven't made a decision yet on who I'm going to support.

"I think all of the prospective candidates out there have got a lot of work to do if in fact they are going to persuade a majority of Americans that they are ready to take on the world's toughest job," Cheney said.

Currently, I see Dick Cheney as the only true statesman of the republican party and certainly the only person in the present party, capable of standing and making cogent rebuttal and defense to what are once again the mindless attacks of partisan democrat demagogues and their minions in media.

And for Dick Cheney to make a statement such as that? Is a telling epitaph of precisely where he both sees and knows the republican party currently exists in the minds of most conservative Americans IMO.

Dick Cheney has obviously weighed Sarah Palin politically and she has come up short in his perspective. Apparently, his opinion isn't an isolated one in the party either as was revealed later in the summary of the interview.

An ABC News/Washington Post poll released this week found 71 percent say "no" when asked if Palin is qualified to serve as president. Among Republicans polled, approximately 52 percent think she's not qualified to be commander in chief.

Cheney took issue with Palin's suggestion that President Obama could help himself politically if he declared war on Iran.

"I don't think a president can make a judgment like that on the basis of politics," Cheney said. "The stakes are too high, the consequences too significant to be treating those as simple political calculations. When you begin to talk about war, talk about crossing international borders, you talk about committing American men and women to combat, that takes place on a plane clear above any political consideration."

Apparently Dick Cheney maintains a better feel for the pulse of conservatives in America than many people have given him credit for. Party followers may still be worshiping at the alter of American conservative punditry, but the party insiders and those with enough sense and experience to be able to read the tea leaves, see that Sarah Palin is not alone in her short comings as a potential candidate in 2012. The GOP is still a rudderless ship and will remain so until someone steps forward with some fortitude and the capability to seize upon the swelling undercurrent of resentment in the party concerning the lack of fiscal conservatism that has permeated the party for the past eight years.

Those that follow polls for what they are worth know what the polls have shown over the past year. The honeymoon is over with the Obama presidency and once again the American people have awakened from their self induced stupor to learn that they have been had. The polls are consistently showing that a majority of Americans are espousing conservative ideologies and a desire to see America return to being a more conservative country period.

Politicos in the know realize that it is majorities that win elections, but in this case (as Dick Cheney is rightly pointing out) the people are savvy and they are looking for substance before they will commit their vote. In addition to that, who ever ends up carrying the GOP standard into the November 2012 election, will need to have either a demonstrated track record of leadership, or a plan that is so appealing to the sensibilities of conservative Americans, that they will gamble on the person with that plan.

One thing is for sure IMO, as Dick Cheney noted today, there are a lot of people sitting back and watching and waiting to see who rises to the challenge and who has the moxy and the leadership capabilities to put back together a badly damaged republican party.

And I for one tend to see it as Dick Cheney sees it. I don't think that Sarah Palin is anything other than a sure thing to fail and a return trip of guaranteed four more years of Obama.

The EU Collapsing?

While America digs out from last weeks blizzards, in Europe they are about to be hit with a financial cataclysm of biblical proportions.

Collapse of the euro is 'inevitable': Bailing out the Greek economy futile, says FRENCH banking chief
The European single currency is facing an 'inevitable break-up' a leading French bank claimed yesterday.

Strategists at Paris-based Société Générale said that any bailout of the stricken Greek economy would only provide 'sticking plasters' to cover the deep- seated flaws in the eurozone bloc.

The stark warning came as the euro slipped further on the currency markets and dire growth figures raised the prospect of a 'double-dip' recession in the embattled zone.

Never mind that last week Chancellor Merkel of Germany and President Sarkozy of France pledged their support to Greece, that all quickly vanished as the reality and the magnitude of Greece's problems were revealed. Combined with the reality that France and Germany simply don't have the financial resources to save the failing Greek economy.

Obviously Angela Merkel doesn't adhere to the Obama philosophy of economic strategy, specifically the "too big to fail" part of the Obama administration economic game plan. President Sarkozy and Chancellor Merkel have previously let it be known that they would not buy into Obama's deficit spending solutions concerning the recession and their plans for their countries; therefore, this most recent turn of events and change ion attitudes should not be of any major surprise to anyone.

Merkel and the others are seeing the writing on the wall and making the conscious decision to let Greece and probably Spain and Portugal got down the tubes in the next few weeks. Especially if their failure means preserving the rest of the European economy.

And if the European Union and the Euro are to become casualties of the aftermath (and it looks like they will), then so be it. In the present state of economic affairs, Merkel and Sarkozy have taken a correct position in my opinion. In times like these (when socialism has reached it's tipping point in Europe) it is time to look at the principle of every man for himself. And that is exactly what Germany and France are doing right now.

The twist will come when the collapse happens (which will be soon IMO). After which watch as France and Germany and others in Europe, turn to America for support and expectations that the US taxpayer help to bail them out. I wonder? Will America finally be prepared to tell the rest of the world to bugger off as the Brits would say?

I say that will only occur once we too are completely bankrupt. Which shouldn't be long now based upon our current rate of deficit spending.

Watch closely over the next five years as the global economic paradigm shifts completely in favor of the Chinese and Muslim Asia. China holds our mortgage and they are learning how to twist those screws for their own political gains. Taiwan will fall and Israel's continued existence is truly in peril in my opinion.

As the old adage goes.....'follow the money.' Those that have it and those who can create it will prevail, while those who dive deeper into debtor nation status can only watch and wonder what happened.

In the course of a generation, America has gone from being the indisputable leader of the world, to a position where we are teetering on the edge of social and economic collapse and third world status.

Bible prophesy said it would happen and it is happening.

Something Everyone Should Know

I am a strong supporter and advocate for alternative and homeopathic treatments. Susanne Sommers, is a cancer survivor and a author on the subject. Take the time to watch this interview and then do some investigative reading on your own.

There is a wealth fo life saving information and cures that are out there, that we are not being told about by the medical industry in this country.

And make no mistake, it is an industry and there are billions at stake annually on their ability to shove pills and chemicals at us.

Democrat Arrogance has no boundaries

Republicans Object to Biden Taking Credit for Success in Iraq

Once again the arrogance of this president and his vice president is astounding. Not that Joe Biden has cornered the market on arrogance by any stretch. The man aside from being a walking and talking gaff machine, is literally an embarrassment to himself and his office. But then again? Barack Obama knew that and chose him anyway.

So here we have the most recent lunacy from the mind of Biden.

"I am very optimistic about Iraq," he said. "I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration."

Does the man suffer from short term and long term memory loss? Or does he think that the rest of us do. A statement like that rises above and past unmitigated gall in my opinion.

But it gets better.

"You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer," he said. "You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government."

I would say that the man has absolutely no shame, but I long ago realized that most democrats don't have any shame to begin with.

Meanwhile, Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma summed it up.

"When Joe Biden was in the Senate and Obama was in the Senate, they authored and were the chief architect of the resolution opposing the surge," he said.

And a further reality check from Michael O'Hanlon of the Brookings Institution

"The reduction in U.S. forces that is under way right now is in fact important and it's largely the continuation of the policy that President Bush had set in place when he negotiated the drawdown schedule with Prime Minister Maliki at the end of 2008," Michael O'Hanlon of the Brookings Institution told Fox News.

And to think, there were democrats that demonized Dick Cheney on a daily basis for eight years. Dick Cheney has more sense in his watch pocket than Biden does period.

And how could we not recognize Robert Gibbs for his contribution to yesterday's heresy and political plagiarism when he attributed the success in Iraq to this president "Putting back together what was broken" along with the "political pressure that the president as a then candidate helped to bring about."

Absolutely amazing.

Parsing the penny

No pride, no prejudice, just plain parsing.

When I came across this article today in business week, my mind was immediately flooded with a myriad of conflicting thoughts and recollections of the past eighteen odd months.

Obama ‘Agnostic’ on Deficit Cuts, Won’t Prejudge Tax Increases

Where should I begin?

When I was growing up, my father use to frequently tell me...."son, as long as it is your penny." Simply translated.....that meant that as long as I was paying for it? I should always get my money's worth. Obviously that piece of sage wisdom never applied to what I would come to recognize later in life as taxes.

Fast forward to the present and I am absolutely dumb struck over the sheer unmitigated gall and audacity of this man that we call the president.

This article in Business Week is so ripe with insults to my sensibilities, that I literally don't know were to begin, but I will try.

Obama, in a Feb. 9 Oval Office interview, said that a presidential commission on the budget needs to consider all options for reducing the deficit, including tax increases and cuts in spending on entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare.

So in other words, forget what he said back during the campaign about raising taxes. He still isn't going to raise your taxes. What he is going to do, is to create a presidential panel. A presidential panel that answers to him and a presidential panel that will be tasked with the sole task of submitting what he wants to do anyway as "their" supposed findings.

How quaint. I feel a George H. W. Bush flash back rising to the moment. Our president will soon step off and look us all right in the eye and tell us....."I am not raising your taxes. Let me be clear on that. The commission that I commissioned is who will be raising your taxes."

He will go on to explain that the commission's (his) proposals for tax increases and budgetary reductions, are aimed solely at reducing the enormity of our annual budgets and our ever growing deficit. Of course he will brush quickly past the fact that he has quadrupled the budget and almost doubled the deficit single handedly.

“The whole point of it is to make sure that all ideas are on the table,” the president said in the interview with Bloomberg BusinessWeek, which will appear on newsstands Friday. “So what I want to do is to be completely agnostic, in terms of solutions.”

No mr. president....this has nothing to do with getting all ideas on the table, not by a long shot. What this is about, is your ability to do what you said that you wouldn't, while laying the blame on some disembodied entity that you will gladly follow the recommendations of. (ie. your blue ribbon commission)

“What I can’t do is to set the thing up where a whole bunch of things are off the table,” Obama said. “Some would say we can’t look at entitlements. There are going to be some that say we can’t look at taxes, and pretty soon, you just can’t solve the problem.”

So I think this is coming into focus now.

You are right mr. president, you can't set the "thing" up where a whole bunch of things are off the table, but you can set it up where all those things that you said would never be touched will be touched.

Not the least of which will be tax increases aimed at the middle class and small businesses all across the country.

No surprises for me, I knew that it was only a matter of time. And all that crapola about you would not be raising taxes on those of us making less than $200,000 a year?

Obama repeatedly vowed during the 2008 presidential election campaign that he would not raise taxes on individuals making less than $200,000 and households earning less than $250,000 a year. When senior White House economic adviser Lawrence H. Summers and Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner suggested in August that the administration might be open to going back on that pledge, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs quickly reiterated the president’s promise.

Looks a lot like your plan all along was to do what you are planning. I wonder what Robert Gibbs will have written on his hand tomorrow. Or would that be too gauche for your administration. Twice in one week.

Game Jerseys: A bit 'Cuky'

"Kentcuky" jersey photo shoot

What's worse than someone misspelling your university's name on your game jerseys? Putting them on and then posing with them for a photo shoot.

Better yet? Your head coach misses the error and 'Tweets' the photo all over bejesus.

Priceless!

Iran's 'Stunning Punch'

Iran’s Supreme Leader Promises a Stunning “Punch”

Remember about a week or so ago? When Iran's main man Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told us that on the 11th? He would reveal a big punch to the west? Well today is the day and the big punch seems to be that Iran has now declared itself a nuclear state.

Here are a few tips that can be utilized when attempting to decipher these complicated signals and messages coming from the Muslim world.

1. Water is wet
2. Night follows day
3. Muslims hate Jews
4. Left alone and allowed to proliferate? Even blind camel herders can pool their resources and eventually become a threat to the rest of the world.

The big punch? I'm sorry Ahmed, but Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's revelation today, ain't exactly some big secret. And bragging about it to the world while battling dissidents today, isn't exactly some 'stunning punch' either.

So that is your big punch huh? Iran has enriched uranium?(yawn). I'll wait to hear of news of you launching one of your new acquisitions at Israel. Which shouldn't be that long of a wait now. And besides, if you want to brag about a big punch, that is where you need to go. Stop teasing the world with your anti-climatic bravado and just get on with it.

On a side note, I thought this photo published by the Mail on line today, was rather apropos.

Our Special Relationship in Jeopardy

My goodness.....what would Miss Money Penny and her boss 'M' think if they could see all this unfolding. And what of those who followed Felix Leither in the CIA? Surely they would be and are aghast at these recent developments involving our 'special relationship' with the crown.

And the allegations?

It said the Ethiopian refugee, 31 - who lives in Britain - faced "sleep deprivation and threats" and was "shackled" when questioned.

It said his treatment was "cruel, inhuman and degrading". Mr Miliband told MPs the case had been followed "with a great deal of concern" by the US.

My...... my. What to say about that. Sounds almost as bad as Abu Graib. I suspect the only way they could have treated this poor bloke worse? Would have involved women's underwear as head gear and possibly forcing him to play pyramid in the buff with fellow contestants.

The actual amusing part of this report, is that the Brits seem concerned that our dear president might withhold critical intelligence information from the Brits in the future as a result of their indiscretions.

NEWS FLASH! The man has no intention of allowing any realistic intelligence gathering to begin with. He never did have. So the Brits and the rest had better get use to the reality that it is every man for himself and they are on their own.

Pity actually.....seeing as this is what they and their Vichy neighbors the French and the Belgians have been moaning for for years now. Careful what you wish for lads.

Are You So Stupid You Could Die From It

Low intelligence among top heart health risks

Intelligence comes second only to smoking as a predictor of heart disease, scientists said on Wednesday, suggesting public health campaigns may need to be designed for people with lower IQs if they are to work.

Research by Britain's Medical Research Council (MRC) found that lower intelligence quotient (IQ) scores were associated with higher rates of heart disease and death, and were more important indicators than any other risk factors except smoking.

That's right. If you ain't smarter than a fifth grader? You maybe leaving this world sooner than later. According to this assembled mass of British science and medicine, the less smart you are (dumber) the more at risk you are to die from heart disease or other maladies related to poor decision making.

I have assumed as much for many years and now we have the science to prove it. Some people are so stupid they will die from it.
