Ron Paul goes after Gingrich

No doubt, spot on accurate and not unexpected.

Don't hold your breath waiting for a counter strike by Gingrich, Paul isn't relevant enough for Gingrich to concern himself with. With that said, he has a lot of damage control to explain to many hard line conservatives.

Stay tuned......

What's for dinner?

So.....what did you have for dinner last night? Was it something sheik? At a sophisticated DC clique restaurant with friends? I seriously doubt it. If the occcutards want to have a poster child of the real 1% who are putting the screws to them, they need look no further than 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Maybe Michelle will save them some cake.............

MORE SIGHTINGS First lady Michelle Obama enjoyed a lovely evening at Co Co. Sala on F Street on Monday night. A Yeas & Nays source tells us she dined with seven friends for dinner and, of course, dessert -- which featured an edible chocolate sculpture and house-made artisanal chocolates by Chef Santosh Tiptur. We're told Obama's favorite savory was Chef Tiptur's Moroccan Swordfish Sliders with chermoula marinade, fennel salad, aged pecorino and hazelnut coffee dressing. The restaurant owners later posted to Twitter about their excitement of having her as a guest. "It was such an honor to have first lady Michelle Obama dine at Co Co. Sala last night. What an exciting and humbling experience!"

Newt Gingrich: The Media ‘Would Rather Worry About Rumors About Conservatives Than Facts About President’

“The news media’s never quite found itself as excited about the facts about Barack Obama. Would rather worry about rumors about conservatives than facts about the President.”
~Newt Gingrich~

A cover up of justice

Absolutely unbelievable..... So much for the transparency of this administration.......

Obama Admin Seals Records of Murdered Border Patrol Agent Implicated in Fast and Furious

And to think that Attorney General Eric Holder is getting testy about congressional calls for his resignation. After all, the Justice Department has nothing to hide, right?
The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.
The murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent is related to a Justice Department willingly turning over thousands of guns to Mexican criminal gangs, and Obama administration is hiding information about his death from the public. Amazing.

The Many Faces of Socialism

If anyone is really curious what socialism looks like, here is a very good example. All that is missing is a flowery bonnet and a pacifier dangling from his neck. This is what is happening in the UK as they have to face the reality that their egalitarian driven socialist polices are unsustainable.Coming to a neighborhood near you soon....

Two million strike in Britain over pension changes

Up to two million public sector workers in Britain went on strike Wednesday over changes to their pensions, after the government responded to slashed growth forecasts with fresh spending cuts.

In what unions said was the biggest walkout in decades, only one school in 10 in England was fully open, hospitals were operating with skeleton staff and local authorities were paralysed.

Striking workers picketed parliament and public sector buildings in central London and more than 1,000 demonstrations were planned across Britain during the 24-hour strike in scenes reminiscent of the 1970s.

So.....what the hell are we paying you for?

Chris Christie hits the nail squarely on his take on Obama..

Obama drops below Carter in Gallop Approval rating

Say it isn't so? Not really. the real question in my mind, is why has it taken three years to reach this point. The man's lack of qualifications and lack of ability were known going in and demonstrated indisputably in the first 18 months of his presidency.

As Rome literally prepares to burn, along with the rest of Europe as the Eu collapses, it will be interesting to see how Obama responds. More pointedly, once the aftermath washes up on these shores? Who will he blame next.

Obama's Job Approval Drops Below Carter's

President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.
Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent.

That's All Folks

Bye, Bye Barney!

So there you have it folks. Barney Frank is out at the end of this term. He is retiring. He is just too tired etc. etc., yada, yada, yada. The bottom line, Barney got re-districted in the 2010 census and now he feels it will be too tiring for him to campaign and make friends with an entirely new group of voters.

Of course, there might be something to do with the new demographics that is guiding his decision. Maybe there are not as many homosexuals as registered voters in his new district. But as Laura Ingraham said this morning on Fox News (and I agree), Barney leaving will be like missing one of our favorite Warmer Brother's Looney Tunes characters.

I have to admit, there is a resemblance to Porky Pig and Barney Frank's voice reminds me of something Mel Blanc would have caricatured very well.

Barney Frank announces retirement
Democratic Rep. Barney Frank, a gay pioneer in Congress and a Massachusetts liberal whose name as well and fingerprints are on last year's sweeping bill regulating Wall Street, announced plans Monday to retire at the end of his current term, his 16th in Congress. "There are other things I would like to do with my life," the 71-year-old lawmaker said at a news conference. He added that his retirement plans were hastened by two years by reapportionment, which moved 325,000 new constituents into his district.

"Here we go again"

Herman Cain once again defends himself against new allegations, but somehow I have a feeling this one is going to stick.

What could possibly be worse?

What could possibly be worse than having Barney Frank as senior democrat and potential chair of the House Financial Services Committee?
Maxine Waters in line to take over from Frank on Financial Services

Wall Street executives are bracing for the possibility that Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) will take over as the senior Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee after Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) retires.
Waters is in line for Frank’s spot and could become chairwoman of the panel if Democrats retake the House. Frank announced Monday that he will not seek another term in the House.
The California liberal is considered left of Frank, an architect of 2010’s Wall Street reform bill, on financial issues.

Defense Department paid for "Doobies" (UPDATED

You would think that supplying our troops in harms way, with the absolute best quality equipment and armament possible would be job one for major defense contractors and those who work for them.

You would think.....

(AN UPDATE)
Seventeen workers from the Tower Defense and Aerospace plant in Detroit have reportedly been suspended after an undercover investigation showed them smoking what appeared to be marijuana during their lunch break.
Fox affiliate WJBK-TV released exclusive footage last week showing several of the plant's workers allegedly drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana cigarettes while on a break.

The plant reportedly manufactures armored parts for U.S. military trucks and planes, including parts for Humvees and Stryker combat vehicles to be sent to Afghanistan and Iraq.

After the station's report, officials from the plant said in a statement that 17 of its employees have been "suspended pending discharge."

They encourage a drug free environment? Maybe they should do a little quality control and follow up with their employees on lunch breaks. (UPDATE) Apparently they finally did....

Was it something we said?

Or was it the reception that Michelle received form NASCAR fans last week?

Either way, the Obama campaign is making it known that they have absolutely no intention of trying to court the American white working class in 2012. The bible belt God and gun loving folks in the south and midwest and sprinkled all across this land in fly over country don't matter to the Obama team now (as if they ever did).

Apparently the Obama campaign has determined that having sufficiently isolating the classes via their class warfare policies, this is simply one large segment of the population that is not worthy of Obama's pursuit in 2012. Is it any wonder? These are the same people that this administration has abandoned on jobs for the last three years and even the unions can clearly see that now.

Did someone say racist?

I wonder.....what would the media reaction be if a republican campaign went public with their intent to completely bypass the black working class in Ameirca, or blacks in general. I think we all know the answer to that.

The Future of the Obama Coalition

For decades, Democrats have suffered continuous and increasingly severe losses among white voters. But preparations by Democratic operatives for the 2012 election make it clear for the first time that the party will explicitly abandon the white working class.

All pretence of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment — professors, artists, designers, editors, human resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists — and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic.

Your big Obama tax break is set to expire! Oh My!

Okay, here's the deal. For those paying attention, your benevolent president gave you a tax break two years ago. Well not exactly. What he did do was reduce your FICA contribution by 2% and thus he called that a stimulus. (feel stimulated yet?)

Never mind that all that was actually done was a deferred payment and accountability to social security. In essence, we deprived the already strapped SSI fund of the funds that it desperately needs to survive. Of all the places to tamper with the money SSI was the least intelligent path to pursue, but I guess when you get to sit in your shorts in the treasury and throw the people's money up in the air and exclaim whee? This type of result should be expected.

So now, that bit of lunacy is about to expire and as a result, the clamor has begun to try and save the 'tax break.' First things first people, this is not a tax break. This is literally borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, except in this instance, we (the American taxpayer) are both Peter and Paul. That is the problem with these liberal scams. they are all aimed at the weak minded and those who could care less about consequences, just as long as they get their piece of the pie.

What will it cost you when payroll tax cuts expire?

The holiday season has just begun, but Congress might have already settled on your gift: a return to higher payroll taxes, starting Jan. 1, 2012.
The payroll tax funds Social Security and Medicare. You may recognize it from your pay stub as FICA (Federal Insurance Contributions Act). The payroll tax is normally 12.4 percent of your gross pay. You pay half (6.2 percent) and your employer pays the other half. The tax is charged on every dollar of salary or wages up to a maximum of $106,800 per year.
But at the end of 2010, Congress enacted a 2 percent payroll tax reduction for employees as part of a larger compromise to extend the Bush-era tax cuts. That reduction expires on Dec. 31, and unless Congress reconvenes and changes something, your paycheck could be 2 percent smaller in 2012. If you make $50,000, you will keep $1,000 less in 2012 than you did this year.
According to estimates, the impending 2 percent reduction in take-home pay will cost the average American family close to $83 per month. That’s a week’s worth of groceries, or nearly two tanks of gas for the car.
The question that should have been asked is how much has it already cost you. So why do I continue to hear this old sitcom theme song ringing in my ears?

Gingrich gets a major endorsement

Bill Clinton Praises Newt: "He's Articulate" And Attracts Independents

Bill Clinton Praises Newt: "He's Articulate" And Attracts Independents

The master talks Newt and convincingly articulates why Gingrich is resonating.

Hell No! Bush Won't Go!

Former U.S. President George W. Bush has cancelled a visit to Switzerland over fears he could have been arrested on torture charges.

So blare the headlines in the UK and Europe.

Mr Bush was due to be the keynote speaker at a Jewish charity gala in Geneva on February 12.
But pressure has been building on the Swiss government to arrest him and open a criminal investigation if he enters the country.
Criminal complaints against Mr Bush alleging torture have been lodged in Geneva, court officials said.
Human rights groups said they had intended to submit a 2,500-page case against him in the Swiss city tomorrow for alleged mistreatment of suspected militants at Guantanamo Bay.
Left-wing groups have also called for a protest on the day of his visit, leading organisers at Keren Hayesod's annual dinner to cancel Mr Bush's participation on security grounds.
The New York-based Human Rights Watch and International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH) said the cancellation was linked to growing moves told him accountable for the use of torture, including waterboarding.
He had admitted in his memoirs and TV interviews to ordering the use of the interrogation technique which simulates drowning.
Reed Brody, a lawyer for Human Rights Watch, said: 'He's avoiding the handcuffs.'
So....I wonder what the leftist think about Obama's handling of the detainees at Guantanamo? After all, he promised. Why no threats of arrest against Obama? You have to love the left and their angst filled prejudicial perspectives. Mean while, I see George Bush as simply saying no, "I won't go and be assailed and assaulted by European leftists and their media."

The fear of arrest is the least of his concern and they know it. George Bush has something they and their messiah lack and that is class and character.

Remember 'gun boat diplomacy?

I was just wondering if anyone else remembered that term. It's an old colonialist term, most often used in the last forty years to describe the left's displeasure with wars that they didn't agree with. Now I am wondering how the left feels about Obama's war against Pakistan and Libya and his plans for others who do not conform to his version of contrite obedience.

Pakistan responds

NATO helicopters and fighter jets attacked two military outposts in northwest Pakistan Saturday, killing as many as 28 troops and plunging U.S.-Pakistan relations deeper into crisis.
Pakistan shut down NATO supply routes into Afghanistan - used for sending in nearly half of the alliance's land shipments - in retaliation for the worst such incident since Islamabad uneasily allied itself with Washington following the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.
Islamabad also said it had ordered the United States to vacate a drone base in the country, but a senior U.S. official said Washington had received no such request and noted that Pakistan had made similar eviction threats in the past, without following through.
NATO and U.S. officials expressed regret about the deaths of the Pakistani soldiers, indicating the attack may have been an error; but the exact circumstances remained unclear.
Most people forget that it was the left, specifically Lyndon Johnson that got America into what became the quagmire of Vietnam. It was only after Johnson backed out of a second term and walked away leaving the mess that he had created, that it became "Nixon's War."

And who can forget how the left lambasted George Bush over Iraq and Afghanistan. Blood for oil! was the battle cry. Yet there was nary a peep when Obama launched a months long campaign against Libya and Momar Gaddafi.

And now that there is almost a daily story surfacing of drone and air attacks against our supposed allie Pakistan, the main stream media once again seems all but dumb struck to critically examine anything that this administration does as it concerns the president's use of war power.

So it looks like this time we really pissed off the Pakistani government. So I wonder what the prez intends to do now. How does he intend to maintain his supply lines in Afghanistan? Meanwhile, the Iranians are letting it be known that they will attack everything in the neighborhood if Israel comes after their nuclear sites.

One thing you can count on when that does happen (and it will). This president won't be sending American aircraft or naval vessels to protect Israel or to attack and beat down the imiltant regime in Iran.

Tel Aviv, judgment day has come

So.....how is that hope and change working in the middle east? Apparently not too well, at least not in Cairo. and I would imagine the same thing is about to be the case in Libya, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere across the region and the Muslim world.

Militant Islam is risen and it has absolutely no fear of the west or of America's ability to act as either a check or balance against their anti Semitic sentiments or intentions toward Israel. Israel has been abandoned and they know it and they fully intend to press the advantage.

'Treacherous Jews'

A Muslim Brotherhood rally in Cairo's most prominent mosque Friday turned into a venomous anti-Israel protest, with attendants vowing to "one day kill all Jews."

Some 5,000 people joined the rally, called to promote the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization." The event coincided with the anniversary of the United Nations' partition plan in 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish state.

A black morning after

Today is the much awaited and much ballyhooed 'Black Friday.' The one day of the year that is supposed to be permissible shopping insanity. But as with everything else in American culture, if you can do it tomorrow, you can probably do it today. So may retailers began their black Friday shop fest the night before.

Much was the same nationally it appears as it was here in west Georgia last night and today. Crowds of up to a thousand reported at area stores awaiting the kickoff to seasonal sales for this holiday season. Luckily, we haven't had any reported confrontations or assaults like are being reported elsewhere around the nation this morning.

I waited until well after daylight this morning and then proceeded to make my one outing to obtain a few things for my fur kids at our location PetSmart. Thinking that most of the insanity would be focused elsewhere, it turned out that my read was correct and I easily got in and out of the store with the things that I was interested in buying. Apparently, the run on cat litter and dog food ended well before I got there this morning, so i was able to get what I wanted and be gone in short order.

While driving home from my outing this morning it struck me, that I would not have weathered a frigid night in a parking lot for all the tea in China, or for some flat screen TV or ipad for that matter. But I will weather a cold hundred mile ride in winter to honor a fallen soldier, or sailor or airman or Marine.

I guess that is where the real deal exists for me. I cannot see standing in a line on a freezing morning just to get my hands on some toy or gizmo, but I can stand in a flag line for hours to honor the life of someone who's service affords me the ability to live my life in peace and freedom.

So the next time you hear all the bupkus about holiday shopping and racing around to get deals, try to remember what the real deal is or should be. I only wish as many people as have turned out for the morning after shopping frenzy, would one day find it in their heart to turn out to honor our heroes and their families when they come home.

No mention of God by Obama

Obama's Thanksgiving message omits any reference to God.

Christianity becomes portable in the US military (UPDATED)

(UPDATE) Found this Fox video report

We as a nation can't allow the cherished principles of egalitarianism to be violated by any religion. Especially not anything to do with Christianity now can we.

U.S. soldiers assigned to Camp Marmal in northern Afghanistan said the removal of a cross from an Army chapel has created a “huge controversy” and at least one soldier called it a “direct attack against Christianity and Judaism.”
A Pentagon spokesman told Fox News & Commentary that the cross was removed after someone complained. He also said the cross violated Army regulations.
“Military chapels have to be open to all denominations and as such can’t have permanent symbols of one particular religion or another,” said Commander Williams Speaks.
The chapel is used for general Protestant services and a Baptist church service. There is a smaller chapel used for other services. The camp also has a mosque and a German chapel that is used for Catholic services.
Speaks said the cross was erected about a month ago – but when questions were raised the Army unit’s chaplain consulted the rules and “realized that taking it down was the appropriate thing to do.”
Army Regulation 165-1, 12-3k states:”The chapel environment will be religiously neutral when the facility is not being used for scheduled worship. Portable religious symbols, icons, or statues may be used within a chapel during times of religious worship.”

Apparently, much ado about nothing

There has never been any doubt concerning Hollywood's duplicity and outright bias when it comes to anything outside the realm of ultra liberalism. This week that reality shown through unabashedly so on the Jimmy Fallon show when Bachmann appeared as a guest. She is absolutely correct, there would have been hell to pay had the same slight been aimed at Michelle Obama.

Of course, we all realize that in the perfect world of liberalism, they would never attack Michelle Obama to begin with. But this has to make me wonder, just how long they have been dying to pull this. Probably waiting endlessly to do it to Sarah Palin.

And of course this was all maddeningly funny...Right?
Michelle Bachmann responds.

Republican candidate Michele Bachmann addressed the controversy surrounding her appearance on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ this week, saying if what happened to her had happened to the First Lady, heads would have rolled.

When Bachmann was introduced on the Fallon's show Monday, Fallon’s house band, the Roots, played Fishbone’s song ‘Lyin’ Ass Bitch.’

Fallon has since apologized, and while Bachmann said she accepts the comedian’s apology, she thinks NBC should apologize as well.

“If that had been Michelle Obama, who’d come out on the stage, and if that song had been played for Michelle Obama, I have no doubt that NBC would have apologized to her and likely they would have fired the drummer, or at least suspended him," she told Fox News.

Not Hiring! Until Obama is Gone!

This from a local Atlanta TV affiliate.

The bird, bird, bird the bird is the word.

The lyrics to an old 60's song....."well everybody's heard, about the bird! bird bird bird, the bird is the word! bird bird bird, the bird is the word! well everybody's heard, about the bird! bird bird bird, the bird is the word! everybody's heard, about the bird! bird bird bird"

This was quite amusing to watch yesterday when Gateway Pundit scooped everyone else with the report. Now we have the UK Telegraph and The Drudge Report jumping in and spreading the news.

I wonder what the prez thinks of this..

Russian newsreader Tatyana Limanova makes insulting gesture at Obama

In the footage, Tatyana Limanova, an award-winning senior newsreader at the channel, can be seen briskly reading out an item about how Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has just assumed the rotating chairmanship of the Asia Pacific Cooperation organisation.

She is then heard to say that the post "has (previously) been held by Barack Obama" before mechanically and unambiguously raising her left arm and showing the camera her raised middle finger in an offensive gesture that is sometimes known as "flipping the bird."

The channel, which goes out to 120 million people across Russia, has declined to comment. But sources close to it have tried to defuse the row by claiming that the newsreader had believed she was off camera at the time and merely providing a voice-over for a report. According to the same storyline, the rude gesture was intended for studio technicians who had been trying to put her off her stride.

The fix a butt scandal

View more videos at: http://nbcmiami.com.

Some things are too bizarre to be true, but never the less they are. If 'stupid is as stupid does,' then these women are at the top of their class. they should warrant an entirely new classification of stupid. And this hustler needs to be sent to prison for life.

Possible Victims Come Forward in Bad Butt Injections Case

Several people have come forward claiming a transgender woman, who was arrested for allegedly injecting toxic substances into a woman's buttocks, performed similar procedures on them, health officials said Monday.

Oneal Ron Morris, 30, bonded out of jail after being arrested on Friday at a North Lauderdale home. She was charged with practicing medicine without a license with serious bodily injury after an investigation by Miami Gardens Police and the Florida Department of Health.

The health department was told by a victim in 2010 that Morris allegedly injected treatments into her buttocks, which resulted in life-threatening injuries. That victim was treated at several hospitals, had to go through surgeries, and was under the care of 24-hour home health aides for a long time, said Jennifer Hirst, DOH deputy press secretary in an email statement. There was also permanent scarring at the injection points.

Lab results determined that the substances injected into the victim included "household and automotive products to include superglue, mineral oil and 'Fix-a-Flat," according to the statement.

Morris, who police say is a man, appears to look like a woman and sports an apparently enhanced rear herself in arrest photos. It wasn't immediately known if she had an attorney.

Super Committee crashes and burns

As I noted earlier today, what else was to be expected? This was never a viable committee or a viable solution for the problem. If anything, this was a quick way to an end for Obama. He knew from day one that they would never come to any agreement on cutting the budget.

Two points...

1. Watch the markets tomorrow.

2. Watch how long it take Obama to cut the military budget after this.

Supercommittee fails to reach a deal

It’s all over.

After a frantic day of last-ditch negotiations, the 12-member supercommittee folded late Monday, failing to cut $1.2 trillion from federal spending and setting into motion harsh across-the-board cuts. Super Committee Folds

The people of Georgia lost a legend last night

For those who have never lived in Georgia and for those who have never followed college football, the passing of Larry Munson last night from this life probably means little. But to those of us who knew him there is a grievous loss this morning all across the Bull Dawg nation.

To those of us who were raised on Georgia football, his death means the passing of a living legend from amongst us. A man who cannot be replaced, a legend in his own time and the one person who epitomized University of Georgia football above all others.

I was weaned on University of Georgia football from the time I was a child. Sitting in the front seat of our car on Saturdays with my dad in the mid and late 1960's, listening to the games there because we didn't have a radio in the house. And all the while and all through the years and all through the decades, one voice was always present on those fall afternoons. A gravely scowl at times, yet a source of comfort and reassurance for so many of us who hung on his every word.

He was our guy, he was one of us and each of us were living the games through him vicariously through Larry and our radios every Saturday in the fall. While others came to be known as the face of the Georgia Bull Dawgs, Larry Munson was the undeniable voice of Bull Dawgs and the senior ambassador of the Bull Dawg nation. Larry Munson was the quintessential essence of what it meant to be a Georgia Bull Dawg and every Dawg fan knew it. No one brought the passion to the games or to the calls as dramatically as Larry did for over four decades.

When he finally left the microphone for the last time in 2008, aside from the tears that were shed by millions of Georgia fans at the passing of an era, many of us knew then that time was the thief who would one day come to collect not only a legendary career, but also the very essence of the man that so many of us loved.

That time came last night when death came and embraced our friend and took him from our presence forever. The young one's at the university now barely knew him and others still have no tangible reference to one of the greatest football institutions to ever live at their university. They are the freshman and the sophomores and the juniors and yes, many of them seniors. They never got to hear that gravely voice on so many Saturdays like we did.

The voice of the Georgia Bull Dawgs lives on now only in memories and recordings. Moments in time forever etched on the hearts and memories of a literal nation of followers who now mourn their loss together.

Larry sits in the loftiest of press boxes now. Surely in the presence of other greats, many of whom were his friends in life and who also carved their own legends on the playing fields of this nation's greatest game. Larry is forever immortalized by who he was and what he accomplished for the University of Georgia Bull Dawgs.

I will always remember that standard set up that Larry gave us at the beginning of every offensive play. "Georgia is in an I!

I can hear him now: "There's a fake to the weak side! The quarterback rolls out to the left! There's a man open in the corner of the end zone! Oh my God! Oh my God! Touchdown! Touchdown! Touchdown! A fade in the corner! Who would have believed it! We saved ourselves!"

Rest in peace Larry. Go with God and enjoy the best seat in the house now old Dawg you earned it.

Tick Tock....time is running out for America

Reading this report is both disturbing and predictable in my opinion, but the most telling reality is the sentiments of the president. Basically, Obama is stating that a deal is a deal and regardless of what happens, if an agreement is not reached by the super committee to cut the budget by Wednesday, then he will insure that the automatic cutting triggers go into effect.

That may not mean much to many who have read about it or will see it come to pass, but it will mean a lot to our military and ultimately our safety as a nation if it is allowed to come to pass. President Obama is on record as stating that he has no problem cutting the legs out from under our military, because those like Lindsey Graham and John McCain made an idiot agreement and one doomed to failure from the beginning.

Watch as this story unfolds over the next forty eight hours. America is in crisis and no one is paying attention. And our military is about to be forced to walk the plank in order to preserve the Fabian socialist principles and beliefs of this president.

McCain and Graham to attempt a block

Failure by Congress' debt-cutting Super Committee to recommend $1.2 trillion in savings by Wednesday is supposed to automatically trigger spending cuts in the same amount to accomplish that job.

But the same legislators who concocted that budgetary booby trap just four months ago could end up spending the 2012 election year and beyond battling over defusing it.

Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., say they are writing legislation to prevent what they say would be devastating cuts to the military. House Republicans are exploring a similar move. Democrats maintain they won't let domestic programs be the sole source of savings.

In the face of those efforts, President Barack Obama has told the debt panel's co-chairmen that he "will not accept any measure that attempts to turn off the automatic cut trigger," White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters last week. The leaders of both parties in the House and Senate have expressed similar sentiments -- seemingly making any attempt to restore the money futile.

"Yes, I would feel bound by it," House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said recently of the automatic cuts. "It was part of the agreement."
And boy wonder Boehner is on board with the whole thing.

This was a designed failure from the beginning people. And the republicans are banking on the rage of the American people as the only stop gap before full disaster.

CIA warned: American spies still outed and now facing death,

This is a rather chilling and revealing story about our intelligence community and our ongoing ability to effectively operate and maintain an intelligence operations in the middle east. Keeping in mind, this occurred primarily under the management of Leon Panetta as director CIA.

There were those from the beginning that said that Panetta had absolutely no intelligence background or experience and would prove questionable as the head of the CIA. I believe those questions raised three years ago, are now being verified as justifiable. The damage done to our intelligence operatives is only now being revealed. People will die as a result of ineptitude and the failure of those responsible to act responsibly. Our own people and those we have recruited to assist us in the middle east will be targeted and killed by the militant regimes in Lebanon and Iran and elsewhere.

As was the case in the wake of the Carter years, it will take a generation to repair the damage that has been wrought to our intelligence capabilities in the region and in the interim a lot of people will die.

American Spies outed and in danger
The CIA's operations in Lebanon have been badly damaged after Hezbollah identified and captured a number of U.S. spies recently, current and former U.S. officials told The Associated Press. The intelligence debacle is particularly troubling because the CIA saw it coming.

Hezbollah's longtime leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, boasted on television in June that he had rooted out at least two CIA spies who had infiltrated the ranks of Hezbollah, which the U.S. considers a terrorist group closely allied with Iran. Though the U.S. Embassy in Lebanon officially denied the accusation, current and former officials concede that it happened and the damage has spread even further.

"The CIA was well aware the spies were vulnerable in Lebanon. CIA officials were warned, including the chief of the unit that supervises Hezbollah operations from CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., and the head of counterintelligence. It remains unclear whether anyone has been or will be held accountable in the wake of this counterintelligence disaster or whether the incident will affect the CIA's ability to recruit assets in Lebanon."

Obama views America through the eyes of our enemies

By Locutisprime
Barack Obama has left his mark on this nation that is a certainty.

While many Americans have embraced the founding fathers sentiments of 'don't tread on me,' Barack Obama has remained intent on leaving his footprint on everything.

There is no doubt about that in my opinion. One only needs to look around and review the statements and actions of this administration over the past three years and it becomes painfully clear that this president literally despises this country and its people. Barack Obama has absolutely no use for the history or accomplishments of this nation or for its people or its heritage. He would much rather belittle America's people and blame them, especially when it comes to attempting to address his own failures.

Obama’s Denigrate America tour

President Obama regularly expresses his contempt for America. The latest example was his comment at a business forum in Hawaii where he complained that “we’ve been a little bit lazy over the last couple of decades.” In particular, he meant Americans supposedly have been lax in pursuing foreign investment because “we aren’t out there hungry, selling America and trying to attract new business into America.” This degrades the country he leads.

The statement is patently false. During the past several decades, foreign investment has nearly tripled. Washington has signed multiple free-trade pacts, seeking to expand export markets and attract investment capital. Economic globalism is eroding our industrial base and U.S. wages; it has been a bonanza for foreign investors. Americans have not been passive. Yet Mr. Obama loves to bash America.

This is the latest in a long list of cheap insults. At a San Francisco fundraiser in October, Mr. Obama said, “We have lost our ambition, our imagination and our willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge.” Earlier that month, he complained, “we used to have the best stuff. Think about it: The world used to say ‘Let’s travel to America. Let’s see the Golden Gate Bridge. Let’s see the Hoover Dam. Let’s see the amazing things that America built.’ ” In September, he claimed America “had gotten a little soft and, you know, we didn’t have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last couple of decades. We need to get back on track.”
The man disgusts me at least as much as I and millions of other Americans disgust him. I sincerely hope that come next November, the American people stand as one to refute and turn away this interloper and apologist in chief. I just hope that as a nation we can survive that long.

The Blame game begins.

Who was it that thought this supposed bipartisan super committee was going to be able to reach a compromise on cutting the budget. They have about as much chance reaching a compromise as Custer did with Sitting Bull at the Little Big horn. It ain't gonna happen. Both sides are out for scalps and they both have been from day one.

And the all knowing all seeing oracle of the democrat party (Barack Obama) knew that going in. He had no hopes or desires of the super committee ever reaching any deals. He would much rather allow the supposd automatic cuts to take effect where he can justify literally gutting the American military.

Don't let these people fool you, this was the plan form the beginning and anyone that believes any differently is just a rube. John Kerry's sour puss at the end of the table in the photo says it all IMO.
Finger pointing to follow

Republicans and Democrats on the so-called Super Committee can't agree on much. But as the deficit-cutting panel careens toward a Wednesday deadline without a deficit-cutting deal, they can agree on this -- it's all the other side's fault.

In separate interviews across Washington Sunday, members of the committee charged with finding at least $1.2 trillion in savings hurled recriminations at one another for their apparent failure to strike an agreement. Sources close to the discussions indicate that, despite scattered last-ditch appeals for a deal, members of the panel are trying to figure out how to bring the process formally to a close.

Commander, "give us our orders, give us our mission"

Chris Matthews says he (the president) doesn't like their company, referring to members of the house and senate. Chris seems upset. Apparently he's not getting those tingling feelings up his leg anymore. Something tells me that Chris is wondering where his phone call from the prez is also.

There’s nothing to root for. What are we trying to do in this administration? Why does he want a second administration? We he tell us? What’s he going to do with a second term? This? Is this it? Is this as good as it gets? Where do we go? Are we about to do something in this second term? He’s as yet to tell us. He has not said one thing about what he’d do in a second term… Is he going to deal with the long term debt system? How? Is he going to reform the tax system? How? Just tell us. Why are we in this fight with him? Just tell us commander, give us our orders and tell us where we’re going. Give us the mission. And, he hasn’t done it… I don’t have a sense that he’s ever had a meeting. I hear stories that you would not believe. Via the Gateway Pundit.

Windmills in the mind

The Duke of Edinburgh has come to his senses and said what many have known for a long time now. Wind turbines are more of a waste than they are a benefit, yet they were and are being erected at alarming rates globally, in order to placate the environmentalist lobbies.

For those unfamiliar, the Duke is Queen Elizabeth's husband. Here! Here! Duke!
In a withering assault on the onshore wind turbine industry, the Duke said the farms were “a disgrace”.He also criticised the industry’s reliance on subsidies from electricity customers, claimed wind farms would “never work” and accused people who support them of believing in a “fairy tale”.

The Duke’s comments will be seized upon by the burgeoning lobby who say wind farms are ruining the countryside and forcing up energy bills.
Criticism of their effect on the environment has mounted, with The Sunday Telegraph disclosing today that turbines are being switched off during strong winds following complaints about their noise.

The Duke’s views are politically charged, as they put him at odds with the Government’s policy significantly to increase the amount of electricity generated by wind turbines.

And there is more....

When Esbjorn Wilmar, of Infinergy, which builds and operates turbines, introduced himself to the Duke at a reception in London, he found himself on the end of an outspoken attack on his industry. “He said they were absolutely useless, completely reliant on subsidies and an absolute disgrace,” said Mr Wilmar. “I was surprised by his very frank views.”
Mr Wilmar said his attempts to argue that onshore wind farms were one of the most cost-effective forms of renewable energy received a fierce response from the Duke.
“He said, 'You don’t believe in fairy tales do you?’” said Mr Wilmar. “He said that they would never work as they need back-up capacity.”

One of the main arguments of the anti-wind farm lobby is that because turbines do not produce electricity without wind, there is still a need for other ways to generate power.

And water ain't wet neither

So, there you have it. I cannot state it any better than Roger Helmer does below. Except to possible pose the curiosity as to whether water is still considered wet in the EU. I believe one of my British friend would probably say "Bloody Hell!" And they'd be right. Rome is burning and the EU is declaring water to have no benefit of hydration.

EU bans claim that water can prevent dehydration

EU officials concluded that, following a three-year investigation, there was no evidence to prove the previously undisputed fact.
Producers of bottled water are now forbidden by law from making the claim and will face a two-year jail sentence if they defy the edict, which comes into force in the UK next month.
Last night, critics claimed the EU was at odds with both science and common sense. Conservative MEP Roger Helmer said: “This is stupidity writ large.
“The euro is burning, the EU is falling apart and yet here they are: highly-paid, highly-pensioned officials worrying about the obvious qualities of water and trying to deny us the right to say what is patently true.
“If ever there were an episode which demonstrates the folly of the great European project then this is it.”

It could never happen here

It has happened. After years of warnings that the capabilities existed and that it was only a matter of time, America has now been cyber attacked at the infrastructure level. Look for more of these attacks in the coming weeks and months.

These are probing attacks to verify access and capability and if our leaders don't close the doors on these intrusions and quickly, we will all wake up one morning (soon) to learn of the thousands dead or dying as a result of a collapse of infrastructure and poisoning of our system.

Foreign cyber attack hits US infrastructure

A cyber strike launched from outside the United States hit a public water system in the Midwestern state of Illinois, an infrastructure control systems expert said on Friday. "This is arguably the first case where we have had a hack of critical infrastructure from outside the United States that caused damage," Applied Control Solutions managing partner Joseph Weiss told AFP.

"That is what is so big about this," he continued. "They could have done anything because they had access to the master station." The Illinois Statewide Terrorism and Intelligence Center disclosed the cyber assault on a public water facility outside the city of Springfield last week but attackers gained access to the system months earlier, Weiss said.

A very interesting perspective, found at UNDERNEWS

The establishment that no longer is . . .

The American establishment won't tell you this, but it is in a state of collapse, whether you're speaking of Washington, Hollywood, Wall Street, Harvard Square, or the New York Times. I have never known a time when those professing to lead us are so untalented, uninspiring, unreliable, undemocratic, unproductive or untrustworthy - and many of them all of the foregoing. These two articles deal with aspects of this phenomenon that. for obvious reasons, gets little attention in the mass media. More, undoubtedly, to come - Sam Smith
I believe the above synopsis describes rather well our current state of affairs, as does the following...

Chris Hedges, Truthdig - Welcome to the revolution. Our elites have exposed their hand. They have nothing to offer. They can destroy but they cannot build. They can repress but they cannot lead. They can steal but they cannot share. They can talk but they cannot speak. They are as dead and useless to us as the water-soaked books, tents, sleeping bags, suitcases, food boxes and clothes that were tossed by sanitation workers into garbage trucks in New York City. They have no ideas, no plans and no vision for the future....

Stuck on Stupid

Once again the democrats demonstrate clearly that they are 'stuck on stupid.' the American people have time and again told congress that they want the spending to stop and that they want a balanced budget amendment. And once again the proposal fails before congress. And once again it is a majority of democrats who oppose either a balanced budget or the reigning in of their unbridled spending.
House rejects balanced budget amendment

The Republican-controlled House of Representatives on Friday rejected a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution -- a setback to GOP leaders and conservative activists who claim the measure is necessary to end the federal government's spiraling deficit spending.

A total of 261 members voted for the measure --- 23 votes shy of the two-thirds majority required for passage -- while 165 members opposed it. Most Republicans supported the measure; most Democrats voted no.

MSNBC is the Obama Re-election Team

Newt rightfully calls it once again as it is, concerning the media and how MSNBC and Fox News cover the different parties and candidates, but more importantly, he is telling the media and the American people something far more important.

Listen....He is telling the people and the media look...I know what's coming. I know that now that I am a leading viable candidate, that the media is going to come after me guns blazing. And that's alright. The American people need to be able to fully vet all candidates. So bring it on, I am ready. I have no intention of running away or cowering from you.

"I understand there are places like MSNBC that are essentially the Obama re-election team. But, you know, that's fine. This is a free society. You can also say that Fox tends to be nicer to [Republicans] than to Obama," presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said at a campaign event in Jacksonville, Florida today.

Gingrich praised the mainstream media for vetting candidates, noting, though, they only do it for Republican or conservative candidates.

Gingrich says he is confident that after the media vets him that the American people will be satisfied.

"In the next three weeks, I predict to you we will have all sorts of questions about me. And it's fine. You can not ask the people of the United States to loan you the most powerful governmental job in the world, particularly in a campaign that's promising very dramatic change, and not have them vet you carefully and thoroughly," Gingrich said.

New evidence in the Natalie Wood Case

It looks like thirty years after the fact, either an opportunist or a guilty conscious has risen to claim that Natalie Wood was either murdered or at least left to die by her husband Robert Wagner. Robert is getting on up in years now and it will be a sad epitaph if these charges prove to be truthful. We shall see.

Robert Wagner Responsible for Death of Natalie Wood A yacht captain said Friday that he lied to authorities about Natalie Wood's mysterious death, and blames the late actress' husband, Robert Wagner, for her drowning off the coast of Southern California. Thirty years after her drowning was ruled an accident, a homicide investigation has been opened in the death of the Oscar-nominated actress.

The Zuccotti (Zombie) Apocalypse approacheth

Based upon media reports, the Zuccotti apocalypse was scheduled to begin at 7 AM EST this morning. With reportedly tens of thousands of 'protestors' lining up to assault Wall Street. I hope Bloomberg and the NYPD have laid in plenty of toilet paper and porta-potties

Threats to shut down Wall Street

Wolfson and Deputy Mayor Cas Holloway said all city agencies are on notice and extra cops will be on hand for the massive demonstrations - which could disrupt the morning commute and be among the largest in city history.

Holloway conceded commutes may take longer than usual.
Organizers said they were energized by Mayor Bloomberg’s decision early to end the two-month-long camp-out at Zuccotti Park.

“We will shut down Wall Street,” a post on the movement’s Facebook page said. “We will ring the People’s Bell, and initiate a street carnival in which we rebuild and celebrate the neighborhoods that the Wall Street economy has destroyed.”

The march on Wall Street is slated to start at 7 a.m.

Yeah....that was ugly and she knows it.

CTU president Karen Lewis belittles U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan (while addressing 'collegues)'and no, she isn't sorry in the apologetic sense. Not in the least. Sorry in the useless sense? I'd say that there is a strong likelihood that the woman is sorry in that sense.

I find it interesting, watching her traipsing the stage as she belittles U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and his education. An education obtained at Harvard, quipping that 'it may be hard to get into Harvard, but it obviously ain't hard to stay there.' Then adding that she bets he didn't take any science or math classes while he was there.

I wonder.....does this 'specimen' of a Chicago school system union leader and purported 'teacher,' have any idea that 'her president' went to Harvard? I wonder if she is aware of that fact or if in her opinion, her same deprivation of Harvard, applies to Obama's credential seeing as he also went to Harvard.

Somehow, I don't think so.

Aside from that, isn't this woman a wonderful example of the professional qualities that we have come to expect from those in academia and the liberal wing of the teaching profession in general?

Obama speaking in Asia

There's only one problem. He wasn't in Asia. He was at the APEC conference in Hawaii. You would think that he would be aware of that seeing as how he is the president and Hawaii is supposedly his home state.

You would think that wouldn't you.......

A night to remember

This was posted on Justin Timberlake's facebook page yesterday. I think it is worthy of posting and re-posting. It is so refreshing to see a young celebrity stepping forward with a willingness to celebrate his country and its military and those serving in harms way. Semper Fi Justin, you are now one of my new BBF's and I am a new admirer from the class of old peeps who usually never looked that closely at you in the past. I am watching now.
To all my family, friends and fans,

I'm writing this out to all of you after attending an event that turned out to be one of the most moving evenings I've ever had...

I had the honor and privilege last night of attending The Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Greater Richmond Convention Center with Corporal Kelsey DeSantis...

I knew I would have an evening that I wouldn't forget... Something I could tell my friends about. What I didn't know was how moved I would be by the whole experience.

I've always been very vocal about my support of our Armed Forces. I've always felt like they offered us the opportunity to live our lives freely without the fear that so many other nations have to endure still to this day. And, they do it without asking for anything in return. I had this very feeling walking into this dinner. So, to say I was stoked to be there would be more than accurate.

As the evening got started, I met Kelsey and we made our way to the ballroom where the Marine Ball was going to be held. I stopped in an area designated as a kind of VIP for some of the officers, I think. I took some photos and shook hands with some of the men and women who take such great care of our freedom. It was nice to be there already.

Then, we moved to the ballroom where the dinner was set up... For a short while, I had the opportunity to sit with Kelsey, get to know her and get a tiny glimpse into what her life as a Marine was like. She talked about her training in mixed martial arts with a passion, a discipline, and a respect. It reminded me of how I hear my favorite athletes talk about their sport or, how I hear my favorites among my peers in music and film talk about their craft.

We sat in this huge ballroom and were the only ones there as, we had beaten the rest of the soldiers who were on their way in. So, we got a decent amount of time to chat before the ceremony started.

She seemed to me to be so humble and honest... Very cool. She also simultaneously seemed like she was nervous about the whole evening and if I was going to enjoy myself. "Are you ok?" she asked 2 or 3 times. "I hope you are having fun. I know you will once my crew of friends get here to the table." I have to tell you, it's not every day that I meet a 23 year old girl and she's more worried about if I'm having fun or if I'm comfortable! It hit me all of a sudden that these were the type of people that look after us and our freedom... Humble, concerned for others before themselves... This was the type of person our Marine Corps was building. I was really blown away.

It seemed like all of a sudden I was surrounded by her great friends and fellow Marines as the closest ones to her made their way to our table. She again assured me that I was going to love all of her friends--that they were a "kick-ass" group of people.

She couldn't have been more right. I laughed and laughed with all of them almost immediately and felt very close to them... They reminded me of my friends (the ones I like, at least). Cool, un-affected, and real. This was going to be a fun night.

What happened then took me by such surprise that I was almost brought to tears. In fact, our whole table was...

They started the ceremony. And, the next thing I knew I was watching a video about Pearl Harbor/WW2 and the September 11 terrorist attacks... It was a video with some first-hand accounts from some Marines who were there... Telling their stories of the sights and sounds of war and rescue. So vivid and real. So honest but, so filled with a sense of compassion and adoration for this wonderful country. They spoke with a pride that only they could have acquired through their experience as a US Marine. There was a common theme that I began to notice as well... No matter what the situation. No matter how dire...

They were there FIRST.

There on the front lines.

No questions... Just reaction.

While this tribute was playing, you could hear a pin drop. It was a surreal moment to be in that room with so many of our great Marines who have such a different type of connection to those stories. One that we who don't serve will NEVER understand. It was familial. It was like they were listening to their own blood brothers. I glanced around the room at young men and women, spouses and soldiers... At kids way beyond their years, really... All so deeply entwined. Not just by battle, even though we who have never endured anything remotely close to those experiences and have NO position to comment on... But, by having such life changing experiences through them and to not ever waver in their love and respect for our homeland. That's what I saw. A faith in us that has been tested time and time again. And, through it all, NEVER a drop of doubt.

I was truly moved.

The evening went on and we ate and took photos and drank and made jokes.

There were some speeches that prompted many "huahs" and applause. There was laughs. We even danced a little.

I felt so proud to be there. I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes. It's funny too because a lot of them are SO younger than me.

The evening wound down for me as, I had to catch a plane. But, I have to say that I had so much fun with Kelsey and her crew of friends. They were just really nice people... Classy Marines but, not without a great sense of humor. Real individuals but, not without a sense of community.

I said my goodbyes to them but, not before I got a chance to tell them how much the evening had meant to me. They made me feel so welcome to be there and I'll never forget it.

We all have our own individual views on war... But, doesn't that speak to just another thing that makes this country so special?? The fact that we can all wake up every morning and BE individual with a pure sense of freedom..? But, one thing that can't be argued is that it's because of the people who VOLUNTEER their lives to make sure that it's protected at all times. And, like I said before, doing so while asking for nothing in return...

To all of you that serve every day for us... Ensuring our freedom, I say: My deepest gratitude to you. I've met so many of my heroes... From Michael Jordan to Michael Jackson. And, nothing makes me feel more honor and pride than when I get to meet one of you. Last night changed my life and I will never forget it.

To people like me who get to benefit from this type of person... One with character and courage. With strength and bravery. With humility and honor... I say: Send your thanks. Do it however you can. Write a letter, type an email... Hell, buy 'em a beer next time you run into someone from our Armed Forces in a bar. When they say thank you for that drink that cost you 3 bucks, they'll mean it. They won't take it for granted and, they won't forget it.

Thank you Corporal Kelsey DeSantis. Thank you for inviting me. And, thank you for being my hero.

1,000 cops boot Zuccotti mob * Arrests as ‘anarchists’ resist

The NYPD arrested 70 protesters as they moved in on Zuccotti Park early this morning and began clearing out the thousands of Occupy Wall Street protesters who had taken over the space for nearly two months.

More than 1,000 cops marched on the lower Manhattan encampment shortly before 1 a.m. and handed out fliers ordering demonstrators to get out and remove their personal property.
It's about time that action was taken against the anarchists scum who have blighted that park and terrorized local residents for weeks now. It is too bad that the weak minded collaborative mayor of that city, even after having them removed, will allow them back just as soon as their excrement and filth are cleared.

Jurst "horsing around."

I am sorry, but this interview reveals more of the truth about this man than those interviewing this scum want to admit. These are lame excuses at best but they reveal to me a man attempting to rationalize his actions and his attempts to pass them off as simply misconstrued good natured 'horsing around.'. Sorry pal, but I am not buying it.

You got away with it for far too long but the light has now been turned on you vermin...

Former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky acknowledged showering and horsing around with young boys, but said he is not a pedophile.
"I say that I am innocent of those charges," Sandusky, who is charged with sex abuse, said in a phone interview with Bob Costas that aired Monday on NBC.
Sandusky, when asked by Costas if he was a pedophile, responded "No."
He was also asked if he was sexually attracted to young boys.
"I enjoy being around children," Sandusky said. "I enjoy their enthusiasm. I just have a good time with them."
