An interesting 12 minutes on Shariamerica

Take the time to watch this video, then ask yourself one question. A what point is the speaker wrong? On any count?

The end of life as we know it!

FBI invites Westboro loons to Training Classes

So....I have a simple question..."Who vets these people?" No, not the loons like Westboro, but those in positions of security and supposed high responsibility in the FBI? Who the hell makes these kinds of decisions in the FBI in the first place, and then is allowed to retain their positions in the FBI.

FBI busted for collaboration with radical militant Westboro Baptist church.

The FBI said Wednesday that members of an anti-gay fundamentalist group participated in the bureau's training of police officers and FBI agents – a move the bureau says it will take steps to remedy in the future.

The bureau extended the invitations to Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan., for training this spring at two bureau facilities in Virginia: Quantico and Manassas.

Westboro has stirred widespread outrage with raucous demonstrations at the funerals of U.S. military service members. The group contends God is punishing the military for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality.

National Public Radio first reported the FBI's involvement with Westboro.

At FBI headquarters in Washington, bureau spokesman Paul Bresson acknowledged that Westboro was invited to the training sessions.

An FBI official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, said that in retrospect, the bureau underestimated how the involvement of the outside organization would be perceived.

As a result, said the official, there will be additional layers of review or approval on outside speakers.

California now to tax the internet

Yep, Jerry Brown and the newly elected socialist of California have passed a law to tax the internet. As a result, Amazon and others are pulling out. Costing thousands more jobs. And who get the blame?

Amazon bails on new tax

Gov. Jerry Brown has signed into law California's tax on Internet sales through affiliate advertising which will immediately cut small-business website revenue 20% to 30%, experts say.

The bill, AB 28X, takes effect immediately. The state Board of Equalization says the tax will raise $200 million a year, but critics claim it will raise nothing because online retailers will end their affiliate programs rather than collect the tax.

Read the whole story, but here is the real kicker...

"I think that Amazon.com's decision to throw their affiliates, (including myself) under the bus is a national disgrace," Richards said. "Jeff Bezos should be ashamed of his conduct. His bully boy practice and tactics of extinguishing small business in California should be (condemned). Small business has no power...and no hope to confront Internet giants like Amazon.com."

So, Brown and company decided to create another tax and suddenly it is their victims who are the problem. I guess the time has come to simply sit back and watch as California implodes and cedes itself back to Mexico.

God banned from national cemetery in Houston

Got this one from "Weasel Zippers" after it was reported tonight on my local news.

VA Cemetery Tells Volunteers To Stop Telling Families “God Bless You” During Funerals…

Outrageous.
(Chron) — Local veterans and volunteer groups are accusing Department of Veterans Affairs officials of censoring religious speech — including banning the word “God” — at Houston National Cemetery.
In one example cited in documents filed this week in federal court, cemetery director Arleen Ocasio reportedly told volunteers with the National Memorial Ladies that they had to stop telling the families, “God bless you,” at funerals and that they had to remove the words “God bless” from condolence cards.
The new allegations of “religious hostility” by VA and cemetery officials follow on the heels of a controversy over a prayer in Jesus’ name by Pastor Scott Rainey at a Memorial Day service in the cemetery.
The complaint accuses VA of “a widespread and consistent practice of discriminating against private religious speech” at the cemetery.
Ocasio is on vacation and could not be reached for comment. Her assistant, Amanda Rhodes, said the cemetery had no comment.
According to court documents, Ocasio banned members of the groups from using certain religious words such as “God” or “Jesus,” censored the content of prayer, and forbade the use of religious messages in burial rituals unless the deceased’s family submitted the text to her for prior approval.
Court documents also describe the closure of the cemetery’s chapel after Ocasio’s appointment as director two years ago.

Update on the Afghanistan draw down

For anyone wondering how the Afghanistan war draw down is going since the president's big announcement last week? I believe we are getting the first poll results in this evening from the Afghanistan Taliban.

Afghan Update
The popular Inter-Continental hotel in Kabul came under attack by suicide bombers and gunmen Tuesday, a U.S. official told Fox News. U.S. forces were called in to assist in gunbattles with assailants in the hotel, while NATO says its helicopters have killed three of the attackers.

An Afghan official told Reuters that all of the gunmen in the raid -- around six or seven -- were killed.
Afghanistan news agency TOLOnews is reporting at least 10 people have been killed in the attacks, but that number has yet to be independently confirmed.
It seems the Taliban are quite pleased with the president's efforts on the Afghanistan issue and they are stepping up their appreciation efforts in response.

Environmental literacy

Environmental literacy? Well that's what we say it is of course.

Read on.....

Maryland is the first state in the country to impose a new requirement to graduate from high school -- something called environmental literacy.

But what is that? That is the question State Senator J. B. Jennings is asking.

"What kind of education is it going to be?” he asks. “Is it going to be fact-based? Or is it going to be theory-based, which is usually politically, theory driven. And you can think, it's going to be about global warming or climate change."

Sarah Bodor of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation supports the initiative and says there is no mandate.

"People express concern about the content but what is important to know is that this new requirement doesn't actually mandate any content at all."

The new rule is a regulation from the State Board of Education, not a law passed by the legislature, so it lays out no specifics. Governor Martin O'Malley offers no real details but praises it, saying it will "infuse core subjects with lessons about conservation and smart growth and the health of our natural world."

O’Malley also said it'll serve as a "foundation for green jobs," though one analyst says training for those is just like it is for any other job.

"You need to know how to get there on time, how to be alert, how to work hard, how to absorb a lot of information, how to - you know - learn new skills," says Myron Ebell of free market think tank, the Competitive Enterprise Institute."

The state education board leaves all content up to local school boards and a state official says " local systems will implement the requirement as they see fit."

Boder says students near the Chesapeake Bay could learn by doing.

"[K]ids have the opportunity to participate in some real world learning, such as raising native oysters and replenishing reef habitat,” Boder says. “By raising the oysters, they can learn math and read and write about the history of oystering in the state of Maryland and throughout the Chesapeake Bay and that gets them excited and that helps to boost their achievements."

So, it's learning by doing. All you need is to define what the doing is then. And of course, they are going to allow those at the local level to determine what that 'doing' might entail.

Have no fear though, this is nothing but a new form of introducing environmental awareness to young minds. No one would ever attempt to embed propagated rhetoric into the minds of our children, so everyone relax and carry on with your lives. nothing to see here folks.

Remember the Alamo?

Remember the Alamo! That phrase has now become: Remember the Alamo?

The US Soccer Team was booed in their own stadium by a gallery of Mexicans cheering for Mexico. So what is wrong with this picture?

US Soccer Team Booed

On a balmy early Saturday summer evening, the U.S soccer team played for a prestigious championship in a U.S. stadium … and was smothered in boos.

Its fans were vastly outnumbered. Its goalkeeper was bathed in a chanted obscenity. Even its national anthem was filled with the blowing of air horns and bouncing of beach balls.

Photos: Gold Cup final

Most of these hostile visitors didn't live in another country. Most, in fact, were not visitors at all, many of them being U.S. residents whose lives are here but whose sporting souls remain elsewhere.

Welcome to another unveiling of that social portrait known as a U.S.-Mexico soccer match, streaked as always in deep colors of red, white, blue, green … and gray.

I remember about fifteen years ago, reading an article that said that by 2010, all major networks would be broadcasting in Spanish by 2020. That began about five years ago. The same article said that by 2040, America would be a predominantly Latin country.

This week, they published an article stating that we have now passed the tipping point on birth and whites are now in the minority of births in this country.

How much longer before we lose the entire south west to the Latin invasion? I say it is already too late. And all that remains to be seen now, is how long it will take before the utter collapse of California and adjoining states.

Meanwhile, roaming bands of black youths seem to be favoring the newly crafted sport of flash mobs and rampaging and beat downs of anyone white in Illinois and a few other northern states.

Remember the Alamo? How about this? What the hell happened to America?

What's wrong with Washington?

Here's a clue......

House rebukes Obama but won't halt funds for Libya
Challenging presidential power, a defiant U.S. House voted overwhelmingly Friday to deny President Barack Obama the authority to wage war against Libya. But Republicans fell short in an effort to actually cut off funds for the operation in a constitutional showdown reflecting both political differences and unease over American involvement.

So we sat and listened for six years, of how President Bush's war in Iraq wad illegal and unjust and blood for oil, yada, yada, yada. All the while, the same ones making those allegations had all voted to approve the very same war they were decrying.

Fast forward to the present? And we now have Obama engaged in a war that he started in Libya for reasons that are far more dubious than anything that Bush tabled. And yet there was no congressional approval and we are now beyond the sixty day limit of the war powers act. (By the way, the president says that he doesn't need congressional approval.)

And what do our republican counter weights in the house do? After they promised the people that if elected they would change and rein in spending? Well, it doesn't look like much has changed when it comes to how Washington spends out money. The house voted to not support Obama's war in Libya, then turned right around and voted to continue funding it.

WTF?

Mean while, the president has now told the Taliban and Al Qaida and all other interested Muslim extremist parties globally, that America is packing up to leave Afghanistan and soon. By this time next year there will be a 30,000 troop reduction in Afghanistan. So what else can we do for the enemy mr. president?

I predict terrible casualties as America withdraws from Afghanistan and I predict that ten years from now, you won't be able to tell a dimes worth of difference for our having spent ten years, billions of dollars and thousands of lives there.

Apology accepted

I suspect that as long as Jared Monti's father is OK with the president's apology, the remainder of offended Americans should be also. I am sorry, I can understand and live with this father's decision, but this incident is just one more brick in the wall in my opinion.

Apology accepted
President Obama today apologized to the family of a Medal of Honor recipient whom he erroneously said was still alive.

On Thursday at Fort Drum, the president told troops from the 10th Mountain Division that he previously "had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.”

Wrong. Sgt. 1st Class Jared Monti was actually killed in Afghanistan on June 21, 2006. In September 2009, President Obama awarded him the Medal of Honor posthumously.

On his Facebook page this evening, Monti's father, Paul, posted: "FYI- President Barack Obama telephoned me personally this afternoon to apologize for his error in his speech to the 10th mountain division re: Jared's medal ceremony. Apology accepted."

This man is dangerous

And what makes him dangerous, is that he is the new chief of police for the city of Chicago and he is race baiting and engaging in socialist class warfare tactics to arouse blacks in Chicago. Not to mention that he followed Obama's radical priest to the podium for this little bit of propagandizing.

Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy earlier this month told parishioners at St. Sabina’s Church that federal gun laws are akin to “government-sponsored racism.”

“I want you to connect one more dot on that chain of African-American history in this country, and tell me if I’m crazy: Federal gun laws that facilitate the flow of illegal firearms into our urban centers, across this country, that are killing black and brown children,” he said according to an WMAQ-Channel 5 story that aired Thursday.

McCarthy can be heard telling the congregation in the video about the NRA, “The NRA does not like me, and I’m OK with that.”

McCarthy went on to say that in the debate about gun control, there has to be “a recognition of who’s paying the price for gun manufacturers being rich and living in gated communities.”

McCarthy told parishioners an anecdote about a brutal night of killings in Newark, N.J., where he was previously head of the police department. McCarthy said that after he got home that night, he turn on the TV to relax, and tuned in to Sarah Palin’s Alaska.

“She was caribou-hunting and talking about the right to bear arms,” McCarthy said. “Why wasn’t she at the crime scene with me?”

McCarthy also told parishioners that “everybody is afraid of race. I’m not afraid of race.”

In a statement Thursday, McCarthy said “strong gun laws against illegal firearms are critical in order to maintain public safety and private rights.”

Now, watch the video and tell me that he isn't trying to out black the blacks present in the church. And this is Rahm Emanuels pick to lead the Chicago police department.

What part of NO! does he not understand.

Senator Jim Demint summed it up best this week when he said:

Conservative firebrand Sen. Jim DeMint has a message to fellow Republicans in Congress: If you support increasing the debt ceiling without first passing a balanced budget amendment and massive across-the-board spending cuts, you're gone -- destined to be swept out of Congress by a wave of voter anger.

"Based on what I can see around the country," DeMint, R-S.C., said in an interview for the  "not only are those individuals gone, but I would suspect the Republican Party would be set back many years.

"It would be the most toxic vote," DeMint said. "I can tell you if you look at the polls, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, they do not think we should increase the debt limit."
And here is Tim Geithner attempting to obfuscate with Rep. Ellmers of N.C. on why the Obama administration feels the overwhelming need to increase taxes to address deficit spending in Washington (that the president has quadrupled in 2 years).

“Overwhelmingly, the businesses back home and across the country continue to tell us that regulation, lack of access to capital, taxation, fear of taxation, and just the overwhelming uncertainties that our businesses face is keeping them from hiring,” Ellmers told Geithner. “They just simply cannot.”

She then challenged Geithner on the administration’s tax plan. “Looking into the future, you are supporting the idea of taxation, increasing taxes on those who make $250,000 or more. Those are our business owners,” said Ellmers.
And here was some of Geithner's response to being pinned down by Rep. Ellmers.

“No, that's right. I agree with that,” said Geithner. “But just to put it in perspective, it's important to recognize why are we doing this. You know, our deficits are 10 percent of GDP, higher than they've been since any time in the postwar period really. We have a big hole to dig out of, and we have to figure out how to do that in a way that's balanced, good for growth, fair to people as a whole.”

I am sorry Tim, but the math on this is really simple. Even those who do their taxes with "Turbo Tax" should be able to comprehend the simple facts.

First, the deficit has quadrupled under this administration, due to 'quantitative spending" and the Fed's "quantitative easing" hasn't done a damn thing to rescue jobs or the economy. Meanwhile, inflation is stalking this nation like a ravenous wolf and your great plan for recovery? We simply need to tax small businesses more?

Sorry lad, but Rep. Cantor and Sen. Demint have it right. The people sent a message last November to Washington.  Stop the spending, stop the bleeding and get busy rescinding the government and environmental policies of lunacy so that jobs can be created and not continue to be destroyed.

It's really rather simple Tim, the budget has to be cut. Specifically, the social entitlements and wasteful subsidies and the giving money away to other countries by the boat load.

Do that and we can rein in the deficit and achieve a balanced (maybe in my lifetime). Do it not? and this country will be bankrupt and economically collapsed within five years.

America, we have got to get rid of these social Marxist in Washington in this administration and those that permeate all levels of our government. And damn right, to do so will cause hell to be paid. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of governmental bureaucrats would be out of a job and they need to be.

Let them stand in the unemployment lines and feel the pain that the average working class American and small business owner and employee have felt for the past three years now.

Hopefully the republicans in Congress will stand their ground and refuse to raise taxes and refuse to agree to any budget that does not include significant and dramatic budget cuts.

We shall see.

He just misspoke. (again)

For some reason, when I read this report this morning, the first thing that popped into my head was the scene in Braveheart, where king Longshanks advises them to bring him Wallace.

"alive if possible, dead....just as good."

That is the way I see this man as commander in chief. He goes through the motions, but his lack of sincerity and commitment to his office and the military that he commands is glaring.

This was more than a gaff. This was once again a clear example of how the man operates in a vacuum and absent the teleprompter to tell him what to say, he is absent even the most basic qualities of character and leadership.

Commander In Chief Misspeaks About Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

During his remarks to troops at Fort Drum today, the President was reminiscing about the times he has spent with the US Army's 10th Mountain Division, when he got something wrong.

"
Throughout my service, first as a senator and then as a presidential candidate and then as a President, I’ve always run into you guys.  And for some reason it’s always in some rough spots.
First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq.  When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there.  I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.
"

The problem is, Jared Monti was killed in action in Afghanistan, on June 21, 2006.  He was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously, September 17, 2009.  President Obama handed the framed medal to his parents, Paul and Janet Monti.  He and the First Lady comforted them in the Oval Office following the ceremony.

Official White House Photo/Pete Souza

I contacted the White House to see what happened.  I'm told the President didn't have prepared remarks.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, "“At Fort Drum, the President misspoke when discussing the first Medal of Honor he presented posthumously to Jared Monti, who was a member of the 10th Mountain Division.  The President paid tribute to Monti in his remarks to troops in Afghanistan in March 2010.  Last year, the President presented the Medal of Honor to Salvatore Giunta, who was the first living recipient of the Medal who served in Afghanistan.”

The gaffe comes one day after the President announced his plan to bring troops home from Afghanistan at a faster pace.  He deliberately spoke at Fort Drum because of the 10th Mountain Division's multiple deployments to Afghanistan.

This time with a broken wrist

This man takes the phrase Semper Fi, to an entirely new level.

Rightly siding with the Libyan people?

Amazing.  When a republican president commits US troops to war in Afghanistan and Iraq with congressional approval, to go after avowed enemies of this nation and those responsible for killing over 3000 Americans on September 11 2001? Some how according to the liberal democrats, he is a war monger and a liar and someone pursuing an agenda of blood for oil with his big oil cronies.

Yet when a democrat president commits US troops to a war in Libya, without congressional approval, then thumbs his nose at congress over his authority tom do it and there is no clear cut need for American intervention there period? Then somehow he is just and it is unconscionable for congress not to unquestionably support him in his endeavors.

Anyone notice? That the oil in danger in Libya is the main source of oil for much of Europe? Never mind. I suppose that Texas oil men are the only rel evil ones on the planet. Certainly not the Europeans.  And here's Hillary as his cheerleader.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is questioning the priorities of lawmakers criticizing the U.S. intervention in Libya.
She's asking bluntly, "Whose side are you on?"
Setting up a showdown on Libya, House Republicans agreed Wednesday to vote on dueling measures, one to give President Barack Obama limited authority to continue U.S. involvement in the NATO-led operation against Moammar Gadhafi and the other to cut off funds for military hostilities.
The measures reflect widespread dissatisfaction with Obama's decision not to seek congressional consent for the 3-month-old war.
Clinton says Congress is free to raise objections but questions the priorities of the critics. She says the Obama administration and its partners are rightly siding with the Libyan people.
She spoke about Libya during a brief stop in Jamaica.

Snob Hill

There is a human trait worse than ignorance in my opinion and that trait is arrogance. In fact, it is a sin in my opinion. Those responsible for this level of arrogance need to hear from as many concerned Americans as possible. They have heard from me this morning and I hope they will hear from you and many many thousands more concerned Americans this week.

Knob Hill Reverses Decision to Allow Adaptive Home for Veteran

Homes for Our Troops, the national organization which has helped rebuild the lives of over 100 of our most severely injured veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan through the gift of a specially adapted home, has announced that the Board of Directors of the Knob Hill Property Owners Association in Evans, Georgia has reversed the prior approval by the Association’s President of the size and design of a specially adapted home for Army Sergeant First Class Sean Gittens and his family.

Building on the 2,700-square-foot home was to begin this Friday.

Homes for Our Troops purchased the land in December and preparations for building the home have been ongoing over the past month. These homes are a reflection of the gratitude of the community and are given mortgage free to the veterans once complete.

Homes for Our Troops received building permits for the project and has been working closely with the Knob Hill Board of Directors, making multiple changes to the plans for the home as requested.

The written approval came from Knob Hill BOD President Rick Trump on June 2nd. Late last week, a lawyer for the POA served the contractors on site with a cease and desist letter to stop the preparation of the build site. Facing strong opposition from the Property Owners Association, the Knob Hill Board of Directors and the Property Owners Association met again on June 20th, just four days before the planned kickoff of the home build.

Baby Blue Marines

In 1976, Hollywood made a movie called..."Baby Blue Marine." It starred Jam Michael Vincent and was the story of a WWII Marine recruit who could'nt hack it and was sent home wearing baby blue fatigues.

Looks like the Corps may be headed that way now. Only this time the uniform will be the colors of the rainbow.

Utter egalitarian communism has gripped this nation and is destroying it.

The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, the service’s top non-commissioned officer, is supposed to be tough, hard-charging — and more than a little intimidating.

Sgt. Major of the Marine Corps Micheal P. Barrett speaks to III Marine Expeditionary Force Marines and Sailors at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, June 13, 2011. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Gunnery Sgt. J.L. Wright, Jr.)
In that respect, Sgt. Maj. Micheal Barrett, recently selected to be the senior enlisted adviser to Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos, fits the bill. Sgt. Maj. Barrett has a long military resume, including combat service in Iraq and Afghanistan, and he doesn’t need a microphone to get his point across.
Sgt. Maj. Barrett joined the commandant on a visit last week to Marine bases in the Pacific. It was a chance for Marines to meet their top non-commissioned officer, who recently wrapped up a tour in Afghanistan as the sergeant major of I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), and get his unvarnished opinion on issues of importance to the Corps.
There was Sgt. Maj. Barrett on Marines who fail to meet height and weight standards (“get out and pound pavement!”); on the new automatic rifle the service is issuing (“an amazing weapon”); and of course on the war in Afghanistan (“we are kicking the s— out of the insurgency”).
Sgt. Maj. Barrett also tackled questions on the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” the military’s ban on gays serving openly in uniform. The Department of Defense is preparing to implement repeal, and Sgt. Maj. Barrett addressed that issue directly.
“Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution is pretty simple,” he told a group of Marines at a base in South Korea. “It says, ‘Raise an army.’ It says absolutely nothing about race, color, creed, sexual orientation.
“You all joined for a reason: to serve,” he continued. “To protect our nation, right?”
“Yes, sergeant major,” Marines replied.
“How dare we, then, exclude a group of people who want to do the same thing you do right now, something that is honorable and noble?” Sgt. Maj. Barrett continued, raising his voice just a notch. “Right?”
Sgt. Maj. Barrett then described conversations with U.K. troops, who saw a similar ban lifted a decade ago, with little disruption. And to drive the point home, he produced a pocket copy of the Constitution.
“Get over it,” he said. “We’re magnificent, we’re going to continue to be. … Let’s just move on, treat everybody with firmness, fairness, dignity, compassion and respect. Let’s be Marines.”

A decision point approaches

In what should be obvious to most any true conservative, The Zogby organization seems stunned by the results of their own polling.

Both Christie, Perry Trounce Romney

In the survey of nearly 1,000 likely Republican primary voters, New Jersey Gov. Christie gets a resounding 62 percent of the vote to Romney’s 19 percent, with the remaining 19 percent not sure.

Texas Gov. Perry gets 55 percent of the vote when matched against former Massachusetts Gov. Romney, who receives 22 percent, with 23 percent not sure.

“No matter which way you look at this, Romney’s candidacy has holes within the core Republican base,” pollster John Zogby tells Newsmax. “In simple head-to-head matchups against the two non-candidates, he gets drubbed.”

The bottom line, conservative minded Americans are tired of the same old same old politicos and the media. Regardless of how badly the media wishes to force the perspective, the bottom line is that the large majority of conservative Americans dislike and distrust Mitt Romney.

I guess we will have to wait and see come the primaries. In the interim, there isn't anything that I can think of that would cause me to vote for Mitt Romney.

WWIII is upon us

So says Alex Jones and I can't help but believe him. All it takes is global economic chaos and we are in the midst of that as we speak.

Take ten minutes to listen to his argument. Chilling.....

John McCain starting fires again

More pearls of wisdom from the winsome senator of articulate political commentary.

McCain under fire for blaming blazes on immigrants
As if Arizona's immigration debate wasn't already hot, Sen. John McCain has ignited a barrage of criticism by saying that there is "substantial evidence" that illegal immigrants are partly responsible for wildfires in the state.

McCain is standing by the statement he made over the weekend as he toured a massive wildfire in eastern Arizona, but immigrant rights advocates say the state's senior senator is using illegal immigrants as scapegoats. Authorities have said humans started the three major blazes in Arizona, but investigators don't know any more details.
It was painful to watch and listen to three years ago and not a lot has changed concerning John McCain IMO. Personally, I believe that the only senator in Washington who makes a more consistent ass out of himself, is none other than Lindsey Graham.

McCain and Graham? Two asses from the same mold, like peas and carrots as Mr. Gump would say, probably separated at birth.

Aside from the fact that the man made a complete ass out of himself in the 2008 presidential race, he has continued to bounce around spouting his ignorance and RINO propaganda at every opportunity since.

Now that seems to include his speaking to the recent wild fires in Arizona. Were they caused by illegals John? More than probably. The same illegals that you and Lindsey and the other RINO's want to invite with open arms and give amnesty to. So what the hell is the problem with them burning down half of your state?

Where I come from? That is called divine comedy.

So you have been bouncing around America and Arizona for the past three years touting your RINO immigration reform bill, meanwhile, the enemy within has continued to invade this country and Arizona is now their well established beach head.

And you think that we should do something about that? "Hush yo mouth!"

So what say you and your RINO buds head down to the border with some water and your shite kicking boots on? And ya'll begin stomping out some of them fires that you are suddenly so concerned about. And while you are there? You can man the official Arizona immigration welcome center and even sign autographs.

On another note....there are rumors that John 'might consider running again,' seeing as there are no 'front runners in the race yet.'

Imagine that. I needed a good laugh this morning.

Some facts to ponder about our president

I received this in email this morning and after having read it, I believe that it is something that needs to be disseminated.

An old West Virginia Hillbilly saying: You cannot get the water to clear up until you get the pigs out of the creek.

*SOME OF YOU MAY APPRECIATE THIS AND SOME OF YOU MAY NOT.
*I DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR SENDING THIS BECAUSE OF IT'S TRUTH.

*If any other of our presidents had doubled the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had criticized a state law that he admitted he never even read, would you think that he is just an ignorant hot head?

*If any other of our presidents joined the country of Mexico and sued a state in the United States to force that state to continue to allow illegal immigration, would you question his patriotism and wonder who's side he was on?

*If any other of our presidents had pronounced the Marine Corps like Marine Corpse, would you think him an idiot?

*If any other of our presidents had put 87,000 workers out of work by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling on companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry because one foreign company had an accident, would you have agreed?

*If any other of our presidents had used a forged document as the basis of the moratorium that would render 87,000 American workers unemployed would you support him?

*If any other of our presidents had been the first President to need a Teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

*If any other of our presidents had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take his First Lady to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had reduced your retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought it a proud moment for America?

*If any other of our presidents had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had visited Austria and made reference to the nonexistent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

*If any other of our presidents had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

*If any other of our presidents had stated that there were 57 states in the United States, wouldn't you have had second thoughts about his capabilities?

*If any other of our presidents would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out his front door in his home town, would you not have thought he was a self-important, conceited, egotistical jerk.

*If any other of our presidents had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, wouldn't you have winced in embarrassment?

*If any other of our presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

*If any other of our presidents' administrations had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

*If any other of our presidents had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

*If any other of our presidents had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America, would you have ever approved.

*If any other of our presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

*So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive?

*Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 24 months -- so you have that much time to come up with an answer.*
*Every statement and action in this is factual and directly attributable to Barrack Hussein Obama. Every bumble is a matter of record and completely verifiable.

AND NOW, HE ACTUALLY WANTS US TO RE-ELECT HIM. HA...WAKE UP AMERICA - 2012 IS UPON US.

"They've" turned him into them!"

He covers it all in the first three minutes of the video.

Poor brother Barack has been turned into an assassin. Nobody knows Kadafi like brother Louis does.  But with all the invocations of Jesus? I wonder what the real Muslims have to say about Farakan and the "Nation of Islam."

Teen flash mobs

One of the more worrisome trends emerging in America, is the recent trend of teen flash mobs. These mobs are being organized on social networking sites like facebook and the members then meet at a predesignated area (usually a business) where they rampage through the store stealing as they go. groups of twenty or more and absolutely no warning and no means to prevent the crime.

Teenage Flash Mob Robberies on the Rise

The same technologies that for years have brought together the mostly benign and goofy "flash mobs," in which groups suddenly break into dance at a mall or stumble around like zombies at train stations, is being used to plan and execute bold robberies.

Called “flash robs,” these crimes are being organized by young teenagers through various social media outlets, most notably Twitter. Police say the suspects select a time and place and enter the store in droves taking what they want and leaving before security or police can catch them.

Some of the most brazen robberies take place in the light of day and on busy streets despite all the security cameras and the watchful eyes of workers.

“Young people are risk takers; they do things in groups far more than adults do. A medium like Twitter plays into the characteristics of young person’s behavior,” Scott Decker, a professor of criminology at Arizona State University, told FoxNews.com.

Take note and pay attention to the reports of these mobs, as they will only increase and this is precisely what is to be expected should America experience a true economic collapse. And that is more than a very real possibility in my estimation. It has reached the point where it has become an inevitability IMO.

It wasn't done to offend anyone

OK, so why the hell was it done then? NBC's coverage of the US Open, admittedly left out the words under God when representing the pledge of allegiance. Therefore, the reasonable question that is going unasked? Is why?

They admitted doing it, so what was the reason. I think we know the reason, whether they will admit to it or not.

“We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago and when we did it was our intent to begin the coverage of this U.S. Open Championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being held in our nation’s capital for the third time. Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone and we’d like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it.”

Perry talks the talk. Is anyone listening?

Rick Perry of Texas is talking the talk and it is a long overdue brand of political and cultural common sense that he is talking. I pray to God that Americans will listen and that the man will rise to the occasion and become the leader that this nation so desperately needs.

Rick Perry tests the waters

"When it comes to conservative social issues, it saddens me when sometimes my fellow Republicans duck and cover under pressure from the left," he said. "Let's speak with pride about our morals and our values and redouble our efforts to elect more conservative Republicans. Let's stop this downward American spiral."

And you know what? He is the first person in this election cycle, (and for a very long time for that matter) that I have heard speaking like a true conservative.

I have absolutely no problems saying what is on my mind and right now (and for the past few months), what has been on my mind, is that something has to be done about Obama. And we have absolutely no one in the GOP (so far announced) capable of dethroning the presently entrenched Marxist occupying the white house.

Rick Perry is absolutely right. We as Americans and as conservative Americans in particular, need to stop trying to befriend and placate the left. George Bush spent both of his administrations doing just that. And aside from the obvious (the left pilloried him and continues to do so) all that was accomplished was a sky rocketing deficit, while he tried to placate and befriend the likes of Ted Kennedy and the rest.

The days of Tip O'Neal and Ronald Reagan are long ago and distant memories. There is no bipartisanship as it concerns today's left. They are adversaries and enemies to American idealism and to our cultural history and they need to be countered and fought every step of the way by those who recognize them for who and what they represent.

The so called progressive leftist are the enemies of America and they are within and we need those like Rick Perry who recognize that reality to lead this nation back from economic collapse and moral devastation. We need to stop trying to buy off and befriend those on the left, who's only real concerns are how to completely scuttle this nation while running it aground on the shoals of leftist socialism.

Go ahead, read the entire piece clipped above and the others on Rick Perry's recent comments. The man is spot on in his assessments of not only what needs to be done to save this nation, but he is also spot on in how conservatives and republicans need to address and confront the leftist liberals that permeate the democrat party.

America doesn't have unlimited time or resources to recover from what is happening and what is being done to it by these avowed enemies of capitalism and America. This country is going down rapidly by the bow and the one responsible, (Obama) is steering this nations full steam ahead into oblivion, while at the same time flooding every economic system that has sustained this nation since WWII.

God help us if someone like Rick Perry doesn't rise to the need and lead us out of this treachery that masquerades as progressiveness in America. America doesn't have time for the mealy mouth politicos like Romney or Gingrich or the rest. Those who strive to always insure that they touch on the talking points and tuck all the politically correct euphemisms into every speech.

America needs a leader who will call it like it is and identify those responsible. Someone unafraid to look a camera or a crowd in the eye and  name names and I for one believe that presently, Rick Perry is the only one I see doing that.

The time truly has come for all good men to come to the aid of their country and that is not just something to be considered during some typing exercise. We need those like Rick Perry to rise to the occasion and as they do, we need to support them. Conservative Americans need to become the cacophony of voices that will be heard.

Our continued existence as a nation depends on it.

Bon Apetite! Have a turd burger!

I am sorry, but I won't be buying any of these. Leave it to the Japanese.

So, Christians are liable to bring down the country.

The fact that those like Shelia Jackson Lee are in the US congress should give all Americans pause for reflection and concern. The woman is obviously obfuscating on the purpose of the hearings and trying to shift the focus away from Muslims and on to Christians.

Another complaint against patriotism

People like these, need to be identified to the public. If the state is going to take an action such as this? Then the people of the state need to know who was responsible.

Obama Somehow Gets in Some Golf

What a difference an administration makes.
Another couple of rounds
I know this will be surprising to everyone, but the president has gone golfing.
This is the last chance for him to practice before next week’s smackdown with House Speaker Boehner. The foursome will also include Vice President Biden and John Kasich, Ohio’s Republican governor. Kasich, a former senior GOP House member who worked closely with Boehner for many years, was chosen by the personally by the Speaker to be his second in the duel.
And, given that the king, the first in line and the second in line to the thrown will all be in the same place for about five hours, LOTS of Secret Service will also be in tow.
Today makes the 11 weekends in a row that Obama has gone golfing. It’s his 14th outing this year and the 72nd of his presidency.
The time was when George Bush abandoned all golfing while he was a commander in chief at war. I suspect the reasoning was partly due to the manner in which he was portrayed by the media.

Now? It appears times have changed. The present president doesn't seem to be bound by the same levels of respect or honor to our troops serving in harms way.

Anyone surprised?

Weiner to rehab

As the 'Church Lady' on Saturday Night Live use to say? "Well isn't that special!"
Weiner's pulling out -- for a little while, at least.
Serial-sexting Congressman Anthony Weiner headed off to rehab and will seek a leave of absence, as Nancy Pelosi and other Dems demanded he quit following his admission to sending private Twitter messages to a 17-year-old girl.
Weiner's office said the randy rep left this morning for "professional treatment," and will take a leave of absence from the House as he tries to become a better family man.
“Congressman Weiner departed this morning to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person,” Weiner’s office said in a statement. “In light of that, he will request a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives so that he can get evaluated and map out a course of treatment to make himself well.

This is an amazing journey if you ask me. Once again, a liberal democrat is caught up in a sex scandal and once again the democrats close ranks and look for an out.

Nancy Pelosi voiced her displeasure initially, but stopped short of calling for a resignation. now of course, since the allegations of sexting a seventeen year old girl have surfaced, Pelosi has changed course and stated that he should resign.

Mean while, Charlie Rangle sees no problem with the entire affair citing after all 'it wasn't like he was going out with little boys.'  So is that the standard Charlie?  I mean really. The homosexual lobbies might have something to say about that.

So for now, it looks like Weiner will take the path most desired by all liberals. He will dive into rehab and reemerge at some point a cured man. And after all, as many liberals have already declared, his tenure as a New York congressman should be decided by his constituents.

After all, it is the republicans who attempt to claim the moral high ground, therefore, the liberal democrats have nothing to be ashamed of.

The bipartisan case against Obama

You haven't heard about this. the media has been too busy chasing after the Weiner story. And as the congressman continues to dodge, they will continue to pursue.

Yet there is another story that isn't being reported in Washington. Something literally earth shaking and something far more serious that some errant sexting New York soon to be ex-congressman.

While Weiner Wept, DOJ Potentially Charged with Obstruction of Justice

I was going to entitle this article “Weinergate Distracts Attention Away from Major Breaking Story” but it’s a little long and not quite as catchy…
Two days ago Facebook icon/blogger ‘Ulster Man’ released an intriguing bit of news on his blog in which he said he received information from a “White House Insider” suggesting something major was about to happen in Washington.  Ulster Man wrote:
In a brief but informative update, our longtime D.C. insider tells of Democratic Party operatives joining with their Republican counterparts to ensure Barack Obama is a one-term president… A significant development is to be revealed regarding the DOJ very soon now.  That is the information I have been given most recently.”

And Ulsterman’s ‘Insider’ wrote:
“Where we are at in all of this is now a fully integrated operation against Barack Obama’s re-election bid that includes both Democrats and Republicans… The powers now aligning against Obama are significant.  They are motivated.  And they are very-very serious about defeating Barack Obama.
Watch the news cycle closely over the next 72 hours.  You may be in for a treat, and there will be more to come.”
Of course, once Rep. Anthony Weiner’s press conference began on Monday everyone assumed this was going to be the ‘major news’ Ulster Man was talking about.
It wasn’t.
While the entire world watched Weiner weep for the cameras about his probable porn addictions, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) filed subpoenas against the Department of Justice, potentially charging Eric Holder and company with Obstruction of Justice.
The reason, according to the Daily Caller, is because “the Obama administration still hasn’t complied with Issa’s requests for documents or a subpoena he issued on April 1. Before Attorney General Eric Holder appeared at a Judiciary Committee, DOJ supplied several documents that were already public.”
The DOJ also allowed Issa’s investigative team to “view several heavily redacted documents in DOJ headquarters, but wouldn’t allow his team to take them back to the committee for further inspection.”
The documents the DOJ provided were “so redacted you weren’t sure there was writing underneath.”
So on the day of Weinergate, Rep. Issa announced the June 13 hearings to examine whether DOJ is required to respond to a “lawfully issued and valid Congressional subpoena.”
This should have been front-page news but ironically CBS was the only major news source I could find that (barely) mentioned anything about it on Monday:
“The first in a series of Congressional hearings into the so-called ‘gunwalker’ scandal is set for Monday, June 13th. The title: ‘Obstruction of Justice: Does the Justice Department Have to Respond to a Lawfully Issued and Valid Congressional Subpoena?’”

Tick, Tock....our time is runnig out

The Gingrich implosion

I said several weeks ago (right after his appearance on the Meet The Press) that Newt might as well withdraw from the race and walk away. The man literally self destroyed his campaign before it ever began.

Criticizing Rep Ryan's budget as radical and calling the Obama health care plan something that he agreed with was way over the edge for most conservatives and Newt's numbers reflected that reality the very next day. and they haven't improved since.

Gingrich's campaign is over..
The entire top echelon of Newt Gingrich's presidential campaign resigned on Thursday, a stunning mass exodus that left his bid for the Republican nomination in tatters. But the former House speaker vowed defiantly to remain a candidate.
"I am committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign I set out to run earlier this spring," the Gingrich said in a posting to his Facebook page. "The campaign begins anew Sunday in Los Angeles."
Rick Tyler, Gingrich's spokesman, said that he, campaign manager Rob Johnson and senior strategists had all quit, along with aides in the early primary and caucus states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
Other officials said Gingrich was informed that his entire high command was quitting in a meeting at his headquarters in Washington. They cited differences over the direction of the campaign.
"We had a different vision for victory," Tyler told The Associated Press. "And since we couldn't resolve that difference, I didn't feel I could be useful in serving him."

Obama "We're working on that under the radar."

Remember a few weeks ago when Sara Brady (gun control lobbyist extraordinaire) asked president Obama what he was doing about gun control legislation and he remarked, "we are working on that under the radar?"

Well here is some of that "under the radar."

Americans had better pay attention. Forget about the errant congressman sending text messages and all the other background noise in the media.

American had better pay attention to their rights before they are offered up on the alter of the UN as a sacrifice for the so called 'progressive agenda.'

The UN wants your guns and if Obama gets his way? They will get them.
It may not come as surprising news to many of you that the United Nations doesn’t approve of our Second Amendment. Not one bit. And they very much hope to do something about it with help from some powerful American friends. Under the guise of a proposed global “Small Arms Treaty” premised to fight “terrorism”, “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates” you can be quite certain that an even more insidious threat is being targeted – our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.
What, exactly, does the intended agreement entail?
While the terms have yet to be made public, if passed by the U.N. and ratified by our Senate, it will almost certainly force the U.S. to:
  1. Enact tougher licensing requirements, creating additional bureaucratic red tape for legal firearms ownership.
  2. Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms (exempting those owned by our government of course).
  3. Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons (any that have magazines even though they still operate in the same one trigger pull – one single “bang” manner as revolvers, a simple fact the ant-gun media never seem to grasp).
  4. Create an international gun registry, clearly setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation.
  5. In short, overriding our national sovereignty, and in the process, providing license for the federal government to assert preemptive powers over state regulatory powers guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment in addition to our Second Amendment rights.

One way to deal with the economy

Simply quit paying attention to it. Which is what seems to be the answer for the president.

At some point during the first two years of his administration, President Obama stopped receiving the daily economic briefing that he requested when he took office.
Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs announced at his own first daily briefing reporters that Obama asked for the daily economic briefing, described then as comparable to the daily intelligence briefing the president gets every morning.
“The president asked that this be added every day to his schedule,” Gibbs said at the time. Gibbs added that Obama believed it is “important that each day he receive the most up to date information as it relates to the economy.”
Was this a part of the change everyone was promised.?

It's official, it;s Weiner's weiner

This is going to be interesting to watch.

Weiner admits Sexting
After days of denials, a choked-up Rep. Anthony Weiner confessed Monday that he tweeted a photo of his bulging underpants to a young woman, and he also admitted to "inappropriate" exchanges with six women before and after he got married. He apologized for lying but said he would not resign."This was me doing a dumb thing and doing it repeatedly and lying about it," the 46-year-old New York Democrat after a week of double-entendre headlines and late-night wisecracks full of Weiner jokes,
House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi immediately called for an ethics committee investigation into whether Weiner broke House rules.
The congressman — who was widely expected to run for mayor of New York in 2013 — said at a half-hour news conference that he had never personally met any of the women he corresponded with online and sometimes via telephone, and was not even sure of their ages. He also said he had never had sex outside of his marriage.
He said he did not feel the scandal affected his work as a lawmaker but would understand if his constituents decided not to re-elect him. "I'm going to work very hard to win back their trust," he said.
Weiner said he used his home computer and personal Blackberry, not government computers, in his exchanges with the women. But that may not protect him from House rules that say a member "shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House."
Andrew Weiner has really put himself in a pickle. (pun intended). Listening to his apology on the radio was like witnessing a train wreck in motion. But none the less, he does not intend to resign.

So here we have a democrat congressman, caught up in a sex scandal and the left is madly scrambling trying to figure a way to get this one out of the mud. His wife is a former Hillary Clinton aide and Bill even officiated at their wedding.

What is it about these middle aged politicos, that makes them think that they can have seedy sexual liaisons and no one will ever be the wiser. They just finished indicting John Edwards this week for his affair and the cover up and the use of campaign funds.

No opt outs

According to soon to be gone Sec/Def Gates, there will be no opting out from serving with homosexuals in the military. Marines and others now serving, will be required to fulfill their enlistments.
A Marines question is answered
"Sir, we joined the Marine Corps because the Marine Corps has a set of standards and values that is better than that of the civilian sector. And we have gone and changed those values and repealed the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy," the sergeant told Gates during the question and answer session.
"We have not given the Marines a chance to decide whether they wish to continue serving under that. Is there going to be an option for those Marines that no longer wish to serve due to the fact their moral values have not changed?" he asked.
"No," Gates responded. "You'll have to complete your ... enlistment just like everybody else."
"The reality is that you don't all agree with each other on your politics, you don't agree with each other on your religion, you don't agree with each other on a lot of things," he added. "But you still serve together. And you work together. And you look out for each other. And that's all that matters."

Which I am betting, will led to a mass exodus from the military as enlistments expire. Which is in keeping with the desires of this administration IMO.  What better way to cripple the military than to allow homosexuals to destroy it from within.

Foreclosing on the bank

Dang.... I hate it that this happened. Funniest damn thing I have seen all week. Way to go! Good for them!

There are those who can talk and there are those who can't

What the current Federal Reserve chairman doesn't want to talk about, the former Federal Reserve Chairman admits scares hell out of him.  You decide.
The debt and deficit problem in the US is so serious that former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan finds himself in the position of recommending the highest tax rates in more than a decade.
Alan Greenspan
Getty Images
Alan Greenspan

In an interview with CNBC, the former central bank chief described himself as a "small government, free-market economist" who nonetheless believes that in order to raise revenue and close the debt gap, 1990s-era taxes must be reinstituted.
It's a measure, he said, of how serious the problem has become.
"The fact that I am in favor of going back to the Clinton tax structure is merely an indicator of how scared I am of this debt problem that has emerged and its order of magnitude," he said.
The marginal tax rates fell in the early 2000s under former President George W. Bush, who instituted sweeping cuts that last year were renewed in a deal between President Barack Obama and congressional Republicans.
But the rates, particularly those on Americans earning more than $200,000 a year, have been the focus of intense debate and are considered in peril depending on how next year's elections go. Congressional Democrats see higher taxes as a key to raising revenue to close the budget gap.

Micky D's hired half

You don't need to be an economist to see the problem here.

Half of last months jobs
According to the unemployment data released this morning, the economy added only 54,000 jobs, pushing the unemployment rate up to 9.1 percent. However, this report from MarketWatch suggests the data is much worse than that:
McDonald’s ran a big hiring day on April 19 — after the Labor Department’s April survey for the payrolls report was conducted — in which 62,000 jobs were added. That’s not a net number, of course, and seasonal adjustment will reduce the Hamburglar impact on payrolls. (In simpler terms — restaurants always staff up for the summer; the Labor Department makes allowance for this effect.) Morgan Stanley estimates McDonald’s hiring will boost the overall number by 25,000 to 30,000. The Labor Department won’t detail an exact McDonald’s figure — they won’t identify any company they survey — but there will be data in the report to give a rough estimate.
If Morgan Stanley is correct, about half of last month's job growth came from the venerable fast-food chain. That is hardly the sign of a healthy economy.
No, we didn't create jobs in engineering or technical specialties, and definitely not in construction or real estate. Maybe next month car wash jobs will improve. Or maybe it will be baggers at WalMart.

It's OK to kneel and face Mecca

Yep, according to this latest ruling by an activist anti American federal judge, it is OK to kneel and face Mecca during high school graduation, just don't attempt to pray a Christian prayer. Or even mention God or praying or anything else. Or else.

A federal judge has ordered a Texas school district to prohibit public prayer at a high school graduation ceremony.
Chief U.S. District Judge Fred Biery’s order against the Medina Valley Independent School District also forbids students from using specific religious words including “prayer” and “amen.”
The ruling was in response to a lawsuit filed by Christa and Danny Schultz. Their son is among those scheduled to participate in Saturday’s graduation ceremony. The judge declared that the Schultz family and their son would “suffer irreparable harm” if anyone prayed at the ceremony.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott said the school district is in the process of appealing the ruling, and his office has agreed to file a brief in their support.
“Part of this goes to the very heart of the unraveling of moral values in this country,” Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott told Fox News Radio, saying the judge wanted to turn school administrators into “speech police.”
“I’ve never seen such a restriction on speech issued by a court or the government,” Abbott told Fox News Radio. “It seems like a trampling of the First Amendment rather than protecting the First Amendment.”
Judge Biery’s ruling banned students and other speakers from using religious language in their speeches. Among the banned words or phrases are: “join in prayer,” “bow their heads,” “amen,” and “prayer.”
He also ordered the school district to remove the terms “invocation” and “benediction” from the graduation program.
“These terms shall be replaced with ‘opening remarks’ and ‘closing remarks,'” the judge’s order stated. His ruling also prohibits anyone from saying, “in [a deity’s name] we pray.”
Should a student violate the order, school district officials could find themselves in legal trouble. Judge Biery ordered that his ruling be “enforced by incarceration or other sanctions for contempt of Court if not obeyed by District official (sic) and their agents.”
The Texas attorney general called the ruling unconstitutional and a blatant attack from those who do not believe in God -- “attempts by atheists and agnostics to use courts to eliminate from the public landscape any and all references to God whatsoever.”
“This is the challenge we are dealing with here,” he said. “(It’s) an ongoing attempt to purge God from the public setting while at the same time demanding from the courts an increased yielding to all things atheist and agnostic.”
Ayesa Khan, an attorney representing the student and his parents, told KABB-TV she was delighted in the judge’s decision.
“It caused him a great deal of anxiety,” she said, referring to her teenage client. “He has gone to meet with the principal to try and talk in a civilized way about long-standing problems, and the school district has continued to thumb its nose.”
The judge did grant students permission to make the sign of the cross, wear religious garb or kneel to face Mecca. But that’s not good enough for some students at the high school.

More than the editing process needs to be reviewed

This kind of leftist hate and idiocy needs to be dealt with.

People like this are worse than ideologues, they are bigoted zealots of the worst kind. And they are infecting the minds of children all across this nation..
