The American media knows the truth about Bengazi

According to Newt Gingrich, at least two major networks have the smoking gun to prove that president Obama abandoned those in the US Consulate in Bengazi. Denying the consulates requests for military assistance that was available and opting to believe and foist the leftist meme of the moment, that the Muslims of the world were just angry over some errant youtube video and that the attacks on our consulates were reactionary and had absolutely nothing to do with terrorism.

On Tuesday night’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said that major news networks might have secret emails proving that the White House canceled plans to assist the besieged U.S. Embassy in Benghazi.

Gingrich said that the bombshell emails could be revealed within the next two days.
“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said.

“But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out,

I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

Conservatism is the answer.

Obama's recovery as told by someone who has lived it

This video brings out the realities of the Obama recovery and stimulus plan over the last four years. Thousands upon thousands on American businesses have met with the same fate and millions of Americans have lost their jobs, their homes, their lives and their futures to Obama's 'share the wealth socialism.'

Winston Churchill once said: "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Perhaps there is now enough misery in America to turn the tide and vote this imposter out of office.

Where are Obama's campaign funds coming from?

Apparently? They are coming from the same foreign sources they were four years ago and the government agencies responsible for monitoring campaign contributions from illegal sources, can one again care less where Obama gets his money from.

So when you see the headlines that Obama is the favorite in other countries adn he has been endorsed by Hugo Chavez, Vladamir Putin and Fidel Castro? Perhaps you might better sit up and take notice.

 OSAMA BIN LADEN
Obama accepts 'Osama bin Laden' donations

No block to foreign money – not even from dead terrorists

Using a Pakistani Internet Protocol, or IP address, a disposable credit card and a fake address, “Osama bin Laden” has successfully donated twice to Barack Obama’s presidential re-election campaign.
The “Bin Laden” donations, actually made by WND staff, included a listed occupation of “deceased terror chief” and a stated employer of “al-Qaida.”
“Bin Laden” is currently set up on the official campaign website to contribute more to Obama’s campaign. The name is also registered as a volunteer.
Since the “foreign” contribution was sent, “Bin Laden’s” email address has received several solicitations from Obama’s campaign asking for more donations.
Incredible 1-day offer: Get ‘Fool Me Twice’ for only $4.95! The New York Times bestseller called most important book of election season
The apparently foreign-based contributions were conducted as a test after a flurry of media reports described the ability of foreigners to donate to the Obama campaign but not to Mitt Romney’s site, which has placed safeguards against such efforts.
The acceptance of foreign contributions is strictly illegal under U.S. campaign finance law.
One $15 donation was made at BarackObama.com using a confirmed Pakistani IP address. In other words, as far as the campaign website was concerned, the donation was openly identified electronically as coming from Pakistan.
Upon clicking the “donate” button, WND staff selected the $15 amount and were taken to a page on the campaign website asking for a first and last name, city, state, zip code, email address and phone number.
The information submitted was: “Osama bin Laden, 911 Jihad Way, Abbottabad, CA 91101.”
While the website only has options for U.S. states and zip codes, there is no mechanism in place on Obama’s website to verify the individual is actually located in that state or zip code, or even in the U.S.
The Obama campaign refuses to release the identification of donors who give less than $200
In the case of this donation, the 91101 zip code is real but corresponds to Pasadena, Calif., and not Abbottabad, the Pakistani city in which bin Laden was found holed up in a compound.
For a requested phone number, WND inputted the White House information line of (202) 456-2121.
The email address used to set up the donation account was osama4obama2012@gmail.com.
After clicking “next,” the website asked for an employer, occupation and a password to set up future donations. WND staff entered the occupation as “deceased terror chief” and the employer as “al-Qaida.”
The transaction was made last Friday with the use of a disposable credit card. The website did not require the card’s security code.

Better to die a hero than live as a coward

The father of one of the SEALS who died in Bengazi Libya on September 11th sums it up concerning president president Obama and his failure to act. The man is a liar. a liar in chief, but certainly not a commander in chief. I am literally embarrassed every time the man steps to a microphone and camera with the seal of the presidency and the American Flag in the same frame.

Children of the future according to Obama

It is almost hard to believe that a campaign on any level in America could produce something like this, but as it concerns this administration, nothing is surprising.

Like shaking hands with a dead fice. No sincerity

Maybe it's just me, but I do not recall ever hearing something like this said about George Bush. These are the sentiments of a grieving father who is slowly learning the truth about how and why his son died in the Bengazi attack. He is also learning of this president and his administrations culpability.

Where is the media on this? Where is Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopolis and Chris Matthews and the rest of that rogues gallery of American mainstream media?  Why are they not on this like Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein were on Watergate?

Father of Slain SEAL: Who Made the Decision Not to Save My Son?

On meeting Obama: “Could not look me in the eye … like shaking hands with a dead fish.”

6:18 PM, Oct 25, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER
Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack at the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, reveals details of meeting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton at the publically broadcast memorial service for the slain Americans at Andrews Air Force Base only days after the attack. And, in a recent radio appearance, Woods publicly questions who made the call not to send in back-up forces to possibly save his son’s life, as well as the three other Americans killed in Benghazi (which includes the American ambassador to Libya).
Middle east in flames
Newscom
“When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”
Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.”
“It just didn’t feel right,” he says of his encounter with the commander in chief. “And now that it’s coming out that apparently the White House situation room was watching our people die in real time, as this was happening,” Woods says, he wants answers on what happened—and why there was no apparent effort to save his son’s life.
“Well, this is what Hillary did,” Woods continues. “She came over and, you know, did the same thing—separately came over and talked with me. I gave her a hug, shook her hand. And she did not appear to be one bit sincere—at all. And you know, she mentioned that the thing about, we’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video. That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.”

Seals ordered to stand down during Bengazi attack

The official response to this so far has been by defense secretary Leon Pnetta who declared that criticism of the state department and the pentagon response concerning the attack on our consulate in Bengazi Libya was just Monday morning quarterbacking.

Really? This is the official position of the Obama administration? The trail of evidence and the facts are disputing every claim that the Obama administration has made in defense of their failure to act in Bengazi. What more of a unconscionable response could there possibly be?

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. Consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by U.S. officials -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. Consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."
Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the Consulate which at that point was on fire. Shots were exchanged. The quick reaction force from the CIA annex evacuated those who remained at the Consulate and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and returned to the CIA annex at about midnight.
At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours -- enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

Your first time being screwed should be special

Your first time being screwed shouldn't be with just anybody. It should be with someone special, someone who understands you. Someone who promises to be gentle. Someone who cares about you.

Really? This is what American politics have been reduced to? Barack Obama utilizing sexual innuendo to appeal to young impressionable female voters? This tactic may have worked for Vladamir Putin, but I pray to God it fails here in America.

For those undecided young and dumb voters who are thinking about voting for Barack Obama for the first time? I'd advise you to have a word with his previous conquests. Talk to those who have already been screwed by this guy. Let them tell you how this smooth talking hustler screwed them and walked away laughing.

My advice to young people preparing to vote in this election is this. If you really want vote for your first STD (stupid talking democrat) go ahead and vote for Barack Obama. You will be sorry that you did.

Ted Turner thinks suicide of US troops is 'good'

What can be said in response to a statement like this.. I have watched Ted Turner make statements like this all of his life., but this one I find particularly offensive. And this from a man who's own father committed suicide.

Ted Turner is a leftist, socialist who has been fed his wealth by the very system and people that he truly despises. It is time for Ted Turner to be cast into obscurity as a footnote in history whose greatest accomplishments were his drunken cavorting as captain of the America's Cup entry of the 1970's

I believe it is time for this captain to leave the bridge and fade into oblivion.

.

Is you is? Or is you ain't?

I guess that depends on what your definition of is...is. Maybe Bill can help her clarify her intentions. Personally, I hope Mitt Romney settles the question permanently.

Hillary Clinton suggests she could stay at State

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton answers a reporter’s question on Libya, Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012. (Susan Walsh — Associated Press)
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said she will serve only one term. But in a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, she suggested it was possible — if “unlikely” — that she would stay in the post a bit longer.
“A lot of people have talked to me about staying,” Mrs. Clinton said, declining to be more specific. When asked if current events will force her departure date to slip, she said it was “unlikely,” but for the first time left open that possibility for the short term.
One of the most popular and respected members of the Obama administration, Clinton faces the possibility that her legacy will be marred by the attacks in Benghazi and questions about diplomatic security. She has taken full responsibility for any security lapses and defended the administration’s sometimes confusing accounts of what happened, saying, “Everyone who spoke tried to give the information they had.”

In the closing days

Looks like at least one newspaper in America knows what the score is and isn't afraid to print it. Of course, for all Joe Biden knows? this could be Ohio.
Kids have good instincts? Too bad some of their parents don't. This is the president of the United States, being flippant and off the cuff like some Chi Town hustler. Matter of fact? He is just being what he is. It must come naturally.

I saw the Drudge headline and I though? What the hell is this. then I followed the link and there it was. Enough said. I think reasoned Americans know who the real BS expert in this election is.

Obama: Romney's a 'Bulls-----'

9:00 AM, Oct 25, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER

President Barack Obama told Rolling Stone that Mitt Romney is a "bullshitter." Mike Allen reports:
FIRST LOOK – Rolling Stone cover, “Obama and the Road Ahead: The Rolling Stone Interview,” by Douglas Brinkley: “We arrived at the Oval Office for our 45-minute interview … on the morning of October 11th. … As we left the Oval Office, executive editor Eric Bates told Obama that he had asked his six-year-old if there was anything she wanted him to say to the president. … [S]he said, ‘Tell him: You can do it.’ Obama grinned. … ‘You know, kids have good instincts,’ Obama offered. ‘They look at the other guy and say, “Well, that’s a bullshitter, I can tell.”’”

Donald Trump the clown

If there is a bigger clown prince than Joe Biden? My vote has to be for the Donald. What truly amazes me, is that someone of his interests and intellect could amass the wealth that he has over the course of his life.

Who gives a rat's rump if at some point in time the Obama's were about to divorce. Guess what? i will all but guarantee if you looked hard enough into the Clinton's past you would find the same thing. What relevance does that have at this point in time.

If Donald Trump is prepared to show me a recent court filing where Michelle has contemplated divorce, or a court filing where the Obama's intend to divorce in the very near future? Then we might have an interest in the knowledge.

There is no room for this level of muck raking, no more than there is for Gloria Alred's attempts to go after Romney on a closed court case. Alred and Trump are truly boils on the backside of this country if you ask me.

Donald Trump to reveal 'Michelle and Barack Obama's divorce papers', claims respected financial pundit

By Daniel Bates

Donald Trump is to claim that he has unearthed divorce papers of Michelle Obama and the President, according to a respected financial pundit with links to the tycoon.
It is alleged that the eccentric real estate mogul will claim that the documents show the First Lady and the President were at one point in their two decades of marriage seriously considering splitting up.
Trump set the hare running on Monday by claiming that he was set to make an announcement on Wednesday that would be ‘bordering on gigantic' and that it would ‘possibly’ change the Presidential race.

Obama knew who was responsible

Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.
As the layers of the onion of facts continues to be peeled, it becomes more apparent every day that the president has lied about his direct knowledge of the Libyan attack that too the lives of four Americans. This among other as damaging revelations are just the type of October surprise that he or any other candidate don't need, but watch the media as they attempt to spin these revelations away form the American people. Stay tuned...

Republicans are racist

With some people it is always about race and it is never about substance. Perhaps that is due to the fact that they have absolutely no substance to bring to the table to support their blind allegiances. Perhaps they are right on one level. Perhaps it is all about race, Or at least it seems with them. Many of these meme following minions on the left will vote for the black guy regardless of record or facts. After all, he is the black guy and to not vote for him immediately denotes a subversive antithesis to all things black and a blatant racial hatred that transcends individual economic miseries .  Right?

Once again for those liberals who might actually have a small modicum of common? It's the economy stupid!  That fact is followed by the fact that many many Americans are tired of this president's apologist approach of foreign policy.

Fact check that Chris!

Post-debate, MSNBC’s Matthews claims Romney supporters fueled by racial hatred of Obama

Presidential Debate III was more like “Rocky” Round 16, an afterthought where neither boxer really lands a clean punch on the other and where the crowd has dozed off or gone to bed. Only in the land of MSNBC were sparks flying.
Famously tingly MSNBC host Chris Matthews decided the whole race came down to, well, race. In one of the more outlandish rants of an outlandish career, Matthews said the right hates Obama more than they want to destroy Al Qaeda, according to The Hill. The rant is too priceless to edit:
“I think they hate Obama. They want him out of the White House more than they want to destroy Al Qaeda. Their No. 1 enemy in the world right now, on the right, is their hatred, hatred for Obama. And we can go into that about the white working class in the South and looking at these numbers we're getting the last couple days about racial hatred in many cases … this isn't about being a better president, they want to get rid of this president,’ he said.”

Coming in second isn't pretty good.

Last night's debate didn't settle anything other than to bring a merciful end to the debates. I watched as a detached observer, knowing that nothing would be settled and knowing that there wouldn't be any blowout of one winner over the other.

Wes Pruden in his article this morning sums it up pretty well in my opinion. This nation remains broken and divided and this election or the next is not going to resolve that. We have come too far and traveled to deeply toward the world of socialist Nirvana to save ourselves now.

Someone was quoted yesterday as saying that the only way to save ourselves is to cut government in half. Right now today. I can't say that I disagree with the reasoning, but what happens if we did? Where would the unemployment rate be then. It is fast approaching the point when fully 1/3 of America is employed in government, so laying off half of those jobs would create another full blown crisis.

As it is, sometime in the new year (soon) two million Americans will be leaving the military and returning home to find jobs. What plans do either of these candidates have to resolve that crisis. There is none. America has traded our superiority in economics and in almost every other category for the illusion that life must be fair and government is responsible for providing fairness. And as a result, we as a nation are going down the tubes, by the bow and by every other measure.

Mercifully, in two weeks the present misery of not knowing who will win will be over and we can move on to the real problems that at this point cannot be fixed regardless of who wins.

Waiting for a blowout to settle the dust

Barring a really major blunder – such as revealing that he was born in Lower Volta or endorsing inter-species marriage (the next big civil-rights issue) – this election is beginning to look like it’s Mitt Romney’s to lose.
On the morning after the third and mercifully last presidential debate, nearly all the major polls show the race tied or Mr. Romney narrowly ahead. The Gallup Poll, the oldest such, dating from 1936, shows a Romney lead of 6 points, well outside the margin of error.
Five of the eight major polls averaged Monday by RealClearPolitics.com show Mr. Romney up by margins ranging from 2 to 6 points. The polls in the important swing states, particularly Ohio, are drawing close as well.
We’ve reached the tipping point in the campaign, when voters become bored with the blah blah and want most to be put out of their misery. The constant barrage of television commercials has made it unsafe to turn on a TV set lest a viewer get caught in the crossfire between Channel 7 and Channel 4. There’s a public-opinion poll to suit every partisan hope for change: If you don’t like Battleground there’s Quinnipiac. If your taste runs to something more imaginative, there are polls by Zogby, a dozen colleges and maybe even one somewhere by the Sharia School of Law and Anglo-Saxon Jurisprudence. Everybody wants to know who won, even if we haven’t got there yet.
What is clear is that we’re as divided as we ever were, and there’s scant hope for a landslide that settles once and for all what kind of country we want to be. We had a blowout election in 1972, when George McGovern lost 49 states, winning only Massachusetts and the District of Columbia, and here we are again. It’s called democracy, and ours is particularly noisy, robust, unpredictable – and long-running.
Loser or not, no one ever put an asterisk against George McGovern’s origins deep in America’s heartland, his unreserved love for his native land or his courage under fire. He flew a B-24 Liberator on more than two dozen bombing missions against the Nazis, twice bringing his battered ship home on a wing and a prayer. He won the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal and went home to South Dakota to marry his high-school sweetheart, Eleanor, who, like so many young women of those years, waited, afraid to take a deep breath, for her soldier’s return home from the hill. He studied for the Methodist ministry at Dakota Wesleyan College, where no one tried to destroy his faith, and later reluctantly traded the cloth for politics. But he never abandoned Christ’s commandment to look after the poor, the hungry, “the least of these.”
I ribbed him unmercifully in my column for his sometimes-goofy left-wing politics, the presidential candidate who had sealed his fate as big-time loser when he proclaimed that he would “crawl on my knees to Hanoi” to end the Vietnam War. There’s just something about bowing and crawling that Americans don’t like. He wrote to me occasionally to needle The Times for the editorials and for things I wrote. One day my phone rang and a familiar voice said: “This is the man you call ‘Mr. Magoo,” and I’d like to ask you to lunch.” We became friends, neither of us softening the other’s politics, but Baptist and Methodist preachers' sons talking politics, war, peace and sometimes a little theology. He was regarded by Democrat, Republican, liberal and conservative alike as one of the most decent men in the United States Senate. I soon understood why.
Mr. Magoo, who died Sunday, age 90, had the rare gift of humility. When he learned as a Connecticut innkeeper how government regulators conspire to thwart a businessman’s thrift and industry, he ruefully conceded in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal that if he had known first-hand about the difficulties the government imposes, “that knowledge would have made me a better U.S. senator and a more understanding presidential contender.” (Such good advice for Barack Obama.)
He once recalled how a man and a little boy came up to him at the Minneapolis airport a few days after the 49-state blowout of ’72. “I voted for you and I’m really sorry how it turned out,” the man told him. Then the little boy of about 7 piped up: “Yeah, but don’t feel bad. Coming in second is pretty good.”

Obama Caters to Islamic Terrorism

This under any other circumstances might be a damning report. Something that truly reveals an October surprise to be exploited and utilized to the ruination of this administration. But the sad reality is? The American mainstream media will not give this report five minutes of air time. It doesn't fit the meme.
A year-long investigation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has found that scores of known radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the Obama White House, meeting with top administration officials.
Court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations.
The IPT made the discovery combing through millions of White House visitor log entries. IPT compared the visitors' names with lists of known radical Islamists. Among the visitors were officials representing groups which have:
  • Been designated by the Department of Justice as unindicted co-conspirators in terrorist trials; Extolled Islamic terrorist groups including Hamas and Hizballah;
  • Obstructed terrorist investigations by instructing their followers not to cooperate with law enforcement;
  • Promoted the incendiary conspiratorial allegation that the United States is engaged in a "war against Islam"— a leading tool in recruiting Muslims to carry out acts of terror;
  • Repeatedly claimed that many of the Islamic terrorists convicted since 9-11 were framed by the U.S government as part of an anti-Muslim profiling campaign.
Individuals from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) visited the White House at least 20 times starting in 2009. In 2008, CAIR was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist money laundering case in U.S. history – the trial of the Holy Land Foundation in which five HLF officials were convicted of funneling money to Hamas.
U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis later ruled that, "The Government has produced ample evidence to establish the association" of CAIR to Hamas, upholding their designations as unindicted co-conspirators. In 2008, the FBI formally ended all contact with CAIR because of its ties to Hamas.
In January 2004, Hussam Ayloush, executive director of CAIR's Los Angeles office, publicly defended Palestinian terror attacks in comments before Muslim students at the University of California – Los Angeles, saying that terrorists were exercising their "legitimate right" to defend themselves against Israeli occupation.
Ayloush, who was a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., casts the United States as controlled by Israeli interests. At a 2008 CAIR banquet in San Diego, he imagined "an America that respects and humanizes religion. It's an America that is free to act on its values and not on the interests of any foreign lobby." In 2004, he said that the war on terror had become a "war on Muslims." Ayloush attended at least two White House meetings.
The logs show Ayloush met with Paul Monteiro, associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement on July 8, 2011 and Amanda Brown, assistant to the White House director of political affairs Patrick Gaspard, on June 6, 2009.
According to reliable sources, Monteiro was White House liaison for secret contacts with CAIR, especially with Ayloush. IPT has learned that the White House logs curiously have omitted Ayloush's three meetings with two other senior White House officials.
Louay Safi, formerly executive director of the Islamic Society of North America, visited the White House twice – meeting in intimate settings with Paul Monteiro on June 29, 2011 and July 8, 2011.
Law enforcement first noticed Safi in 1995 when his voice was captured in an FBI wiretap of now-convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian. At the time of his conversation with Al-Arian, Safi served as executive director of the International Institute of Islamic Thought, an organization listed in law-enforcement and in internal Muslim Brotherhood documents as one of the movement's top front groups in North America.
Safi also wrote for the Middle East Affairs Journal, produced by the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR). That group was established by Hamas deputy political leader Mousa Abu Marzook and part of the Hamas-support network called the "Palestine Committee."
Safi has repeatedly expressed understanding for the underlying causes that provoke terrorism: "Terrorism cannot be fought by…ignoring its root causes. The first step…is to examine the conditions that give rise to the anger, frustration, and desperation that fuel all terrorist acts." He also called Palestinian terrorists "freedom" fighters.
Esam Omeish, former head of the Muslim Brotherhood-created Muslim American Society, visited the White House three times.
In 2000, Omeish personally hired the late terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki to be the imam of Falls Church, VA, Dar al-Hijrah mosque. According to IPT analysis, more terrorists have been linked to Dar al-Hijrah since 9/11 than to any other mosque in America.
Omeish publicly mourned the Israeli airstrike that killed Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin at an April 10, 2004, MAS conference.

When duty, responsiblity and reason are abandoned by American media

As this author points out, in a reasoned and functioning America, this president would resign. Or as was the case with Richard Nixon, he would be forced to resign and rightfully so. But we do not live in a reasoned and functioning America and worse than that, the American media abdicated their responsibility to be the keepers of truth long ago. Opting rather for the shadowy world of sleaze tabloid-ism and sensationalism for the sake of a buck.

What America has been left with is a nation adrift and controlled only by the many swirling currents of special interests and those capable of paying for laws and legislation that favor their interests. There is no code, there is no longer any honor and there certainly isn't in truth left in Washington or the halls of congress or the office of the presidency.

What should happen now and what will happen eventually and soon in my opinion, is that the entire house of cards that has been built since Franklin Roosevelt's new deal, will all come crashing down. And when it does, there will be chaos and anarchy in the streets. People starving and those capable of taking what they need and what they desire will become the new victors. Sadly, that will most likely involve invasion and occupation of this nation by other world powers.

So yes, is a reasoned and sensible world, this interloper would never have become president, but I guess we have already established that.

Should Barack Obama Resign Tonight?

October 22nd, 2012 - 12:01 am
I won’t hear what I’d like to hear at the presidential foreign policy debate Monday.
What I’d like to hear is Barack Obama resigning over Benghazi, the most extreme public mishandling of an attack on American personnel ever, certainly in my lifetime. If I (or most people) had been president and something like that happened on my (our) watch — and then I had lied about it myself while urging others to cover up — I would be so ashamed of myself I wouldn’t be able to come out in public.
But that’s not what happened. In fact, the reverse occurred. The president acted as if it was Mitt Romney’s fault for ever bringing the subject up. And he had a willing co-conspirator in the morally stunted Candy Crowley.
Obama’s outrage during the second debate even at being questioned on his response to the terrorist killings is one of the ugliest displays of narcissism I have ever witnessed from a politician and certainly the ugliest if you consider the ramifications of his behavior.
That the mainstream media ignored this reaction is a testament to their enduring pathology. Or perhaps to a secret longing for the divine right of kings.
But it doesn’t matter. If Barack Obama does not resign on Monday, his reputation will be destroyed forever, even if he wins a second term, because Benghazi will not go away.
This is not just because of the seemingly insoluble conundrums described so thoroughly by Watergate author (among other things) James Rosen in his Wall Street Journal oped — “The Three Benghazi Timelines We Need Answers About” — but for a reason yet more disturbing.

Good for him

Trademarking his name will hopefully keep the world of jerks in American media from furhter slandering this kid and his faith.

Democrats don't like the constitution

The democrats have never liked the US Constitution, at least not unless they can twist its wording and protections to their exclusive benefit. And nothing of recent memory stung their dislike of the constitution more than the Bush victory of 2000.

George Bush won the election based upon the electoral college. The process specifically designed to prevent bullying and big city politics from becoming the deciding factor in American presidential elections. Is it any wonder then, why those who support Barack Obama are getting worried about their re-election plans for Obama?

Democrats don't like the electoral college plain and simple. It doesn't allow for their version of democracy which is pretty simple. Mob rule. Mob rule says 50% plus one decides everything, therefore, all you need to do is convince 50% plus one and you can do what you want, regardless of what the constitution says or regardless of what is right or wrong.

Wouldn't it have been interesting in the 1960's during the civil rights movement if that rule had of been applied? I believe there would have been significant differences in outcome had the liberal version of democracy been employed against blacks in America.

Here is an example of how liberal thinking works below.

Pay particular attention of the use of a child to portray the supposed unfairness of it all. Then watch as they propose stealing the votes on those in individual states, for the "greater good of the supposed majority."

Democrats....no, we don't gotta love em and we don't have to put up with their crap.

No time for whiners

Hillary Clinton is pictured. | AP Photo

Me thinks? That Hillary has no time for whiners, when they aren't whining about her socialist meme and her class warfare version of the world. Hillary has been all for the whining by women in the past. When Planned Parenthood and NARAL and a host of national feminist women's movements were going after the Bush's or Reagan, madam hive queen was quiet as a church mouse.

But now that her guy is in office and she is the madam bee of state? Hillary's version is shut up and dance! Or Sit down and shut up! Either way, the queen of the Borg isn't listening to the whining of women who haven't been able to meet their goals and expectations of Nirvana.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says in a new interview that she can’t stand “whining” by women who are unhappy with the work and family choices they’ve made in life and complain that they have no options.

Clinton, in the interview with Marie Claire, was discussing Anne-Marie Slaughter, a former director of policy planning at the State Department who left in 2011. This summer, Slaughter wrote a much-discussed cover story in the Atlantic — “Why Women Still Can’t Have It all” — about leaving her job because of the difficulty of balancing her work at State with the needs of her two teenage boys.

“I can’t stand whining,” Clinton told Marie Claire. “I can’t stand the kind of paralysis that some people fall into because they’re not happy with the choices they’ve made. You live in a time when there are endless choices. … Money certainly helps, and having that kind of financial privilege goes a long way, but you don’t even have to have money for it. But you have to work on yourself. … Do something!”

Clinton added, “Some women are not comfortable working at the pace and intensity you have to work at in these jobs. … Other women don’t break a sweat. …They have four or five, six kids. They’re highly organized, they have very supportive networks.”

Barack Obama is what is not optimal

I saw this story highlighted on Drudge last night, then I went to Comedy Central to see for myself.  In a word, sickening. The pandering and the unabashed flippant attitude of the man who is supposed to be president of the United States and Commander in Chief.

Then man is a disgrace to the office and to every man and woman who wear this nation's uniform.

'If four Americans get killed, it's not OPTIMAL': Obama's extraordinary response to Comedy Central question about shifting story after Benghazi attack

By Toby Harnden In Washington
| President Barack Obama, during an interview shown on Comedy Central, has responded to a question about his administration's confused communication after the Benghazi attack, by saying: 'If four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal.'
Obama was speaking to Jon Stewart of The Daily Show for a programme that was broadcast last night. Stewart, a liberal whose young audience is full of potential voters prized by the Obama campaign, asked the president about his handling of the aftermath of the Benghazi attack.
But Obama's response sparked outrage among Republican commentators including the website Breitbart and prompted a vicious backlash from the Twitter community.

What color is the sky in her world?

See....there is definitely a provable correlation between Kool Aid drinkers and alternate sky colors. What could she have possibly been drinking?  I say the same Kool Aid as the rest of the leftist mob who believes the tripe coming out of this administration. The only difference between Michelle O and the rest,  is that she has kids by the man and she is married to him.

And remember, this is the same woman who could never find it in herself to be proud of America before they elected her husband to the presidency.

No Michelle Your husband has stood tall and taken it like a man from day one. Never blamed anyone for his failures and they are many. The man is an oak!  Repeat after me: Obama is hope and change!  Obama is hope and change!
By Justin Sink - 10/18/12 07:26 AM ET
First lady Michelle Obama said Wednesday that President Obama did not look to blame others for the challenges he faced as president, an apparent rebuke of Republican accusations that the White House continues to point the finger at President George W. Bush for the lagging economy.
"See, but your president, he didn't point fingers," Michelle Obama said at a campaign fundraiser in New York. "He didn't place blame. Instead, he got to work, because he was thinking about folks like my dad and like his grandmother. See, and that's why he cut taxes for small businesses and for working families, because he believes that in America, teachers and firefighters should not pay higher tax rates than millionaires and billionaires."

It's the economy stupid.

Crime is up!  what the hell happened? It's the economy stupid!

The one thing that the sociology mind set of academic professionals never seme to get their heads wrapped around (other than taxing the evil rich is a road map to economic disaster and failure) is that the economy drives crime rates. So, there is no big surprise (or there shouldn't be) when the economy goes in the tank and stays in the tank and in turn the crime rates begin to rise and ultimately they soar.

The reports now coming in aren't about a sudden rise in crime, they are about the sudden surge in crime. Crime has been rising the past four years, just not at the dramatic rate we are seeing now. And when the crime rate reverses, it will reverse for the same reasons and with a similar time frame of reduction.
Violent crimes unexpectedly jumped 18 percent last year, the first rise in nearly 20 years, and property crimes rose for first time in a decade. But academic experts said the new government data fall short of signaling a reversal of the long decline in crime.
The U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics reported Wednesday that the increase in the number of violent crimes was the result of an upward swing in simple assaults, which rose 22 percent, from 4 million in 2010 to 5 million last year. The incidence of rape, sexual assault and robbery remained largely unchanged, as did serious violent crime involving weapons or injury.
Property crimes were up 11 percent in 2011, from 15.4 million in 2010 to 17 million, according to the bureau's annual national crime victimization survey. Household burglaries rose 14 percent, from 3.2 million to 3.6 million. The number of thefts jumped by 10 percent, from 11.6 million to 12.8 million.
The statistics bureau said the percentage increases last year were so large primarily because the 2011 crime totals were compared to historically low levels of crime in 2010. Violent crime has fallen by 65 percent since 1993, from 16.8 million to 5.8 million last year.

Obama's stimulating administration

Obama's welfare state. Everything is a stimulus, everything is based on taxing the rich and everything is aimed at leaning forward and growth. Except one fast approaching reality. It is all a lie. Just as every other socialist reality. Society simply cannot sustain Nirvana.

America is rapidly reaching the "let them eat cake moment" in our history and once it arrives, heads will most certainly roll.

elfare spending has grown substantially over the past four years, reaching $746 billion in 2011 — or more than Social Security, basic defense spending or any other single chunk of the federal government — according to a new memo by the Congressional Research Service.
The steady rise in welfare spending, which covers more than 80 programs primarily designed to help low-income Americans, got a big boost from the 2009 stimulus and has grown, albeit somewhat more slowly, in 2010 and 2011. One reason is that more people are qualifying in the weak economy, but the federal government also has broadened eligibility so that more people qualify for programs.
Sen. Jeff Sessions, the ranking Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, who requested the Congressional Research Service report, said it underscores a fundamental shift in welfare, moving away from a Band-Aid and toward a more permanent crutch.
“No longer should we measure compassion by how much money the government spends but by how many people we help to rise out of poverty,” the Alabama conservative said. “Welfare assistance should be seen as temporary whenever possible and the goal must be to help more of our fellow citizens attain gainful employment and financial independence.”
Overall, welfare spending as measured by obligations has grown from $563 billion in fiscal 2008 to $746 billion in fiscal 2011, or a jump of 32 percent.

"And, he's been bullshitting the public,"

I watched the debate and Obama was obviously on his game and on the attack last night, but so was Romney. As far as the debate goes, I think it was a draw. Nothing new other than the obvious tone of each candidate.

There were opportunities missed by both in my opinion, but I also know that debates like these rarely swing an election. Most all Americans already know who they are voting for.  know that I do and nothing was changed by last night's debate or the orning spin being placed on it by mainstream media in America..

A Frank Luntz focus group made up mostly of former Obama voters say they now support Mitt Romney.

"Forceful, compassionate, presidential," one participant said.
"Confident and realistic," said another.
"Presidential," another told Luntz.
"Enthusiastic," another reacted.
"Our next president," one man said.
"Dynamo, winner," said one more.

"He's lied about everything. He lied to get elected in 2008, that's why I voted for him. I bought his bull. And he's lied about everything, he hasn't come through on anything. And he's been bullshitting the public," one member of the focus group said.

Freedom to Succeed

A lesson in Socialism. As related by a man who has lived both socialism, communism and the American dream.

Hillary Clinton takes the blame for Bengazi.

That was then, this is now.....

Hillary takes the hit. On the one hand, she is correct, the responsibility rests with the leadership at the State Department and she is the appointed leader. However, the 'buck stops' at 1600 Pennsylvania Abe and everyone in the world, including our enemies know that.

There was a time when I would not have  believed that Clinton would stand there like a light blinded deer in the headlights and take the hit for Obama, but I guess the old adage of living and learning comes into play. Apparently, Hillary is quite comfortable occupying the bridge of the Titanic along side her president. So be it.

Clinton: I'm responsible for diplomats' security

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday tried to douse a political firestorm over the deadly assault on a U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya, saying she's responsible for the security of American diplomatic outposts.
"I take responsibility," Clinton said during a visit to Peru. "I'm in charge of the State Department's 60,000-plus people all over the world, 275 posts. The president and the vice president wouldn't be knowledgeable about specific decisions that are made by security professionals. They're the ones who weigh all of the threats and the risks and the needs and make a considered decision."
But she said an investigation now under way will ultimately determine what happened at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, where Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed on September 11.
"I take this very personally," Clinton said. "So we're going to get to the bottom of it, and then we're going to do everything we can to work to prevent it from happening again, and then we're going to work to bring whoever did this to us to justice."

The racial politics of American democracy

So.....what are the racial politics of contemporary American democracy. There aren't any you say? That is what you believe? Or is it that you have been indoctrinated into. The believe that the only racial politics in America are the politics of alleged racism against black politicians by racist whites? Remember, black people cannot be racist. It's like Al Gore's immutable truth of global warming, the debate is over, all white people are racists and black people cannot be racist.

For the record, the belief system that all black politicians are a class of the unjustly oppressed, simply doesn't quite hold water when you look at black elected officials like Allen West, or at candidates like Herman Cain. Black politicians like those (conservative) are to be ridiculed and disdained according to the racial politics of America. Including by black in America.

And now come the threats in this election cycle, that if America doesn't re-elect Barack Obama? There will be riots in the streets all across America. That's right, riots. Blacks in America will riot because they have been told to riot and they will be led to do so. The ground is already being prepared for the eventuality that Barack Obama might lose and they cannot stand for that. America is to be held hostage to racial fear and threats of violence. Those are the politics of race in America and the race mongers and the race hustlers and all of those pointing the crooked fingers of race baiting are at the tip of the spear and waiting for the moment to launch their vitriol and hate at America.

You know who these hustlers are. The American media has been propping them up and bestowing credentials of racial piety and purity on them for decades. Their only qualifications being that they are black and outspoken and willing to twist the screws of media propelled racial guilt and stereotypes to get what they want.

Stay tuned America. The riots could be on the way. Are you ready for the racial politics of America?

UPDATE: Obama Supporters Threaten To Kill Romney If He Wins Election
Despite the issue receiving national media attention, Obama supporters continue to threaten to riot if Mitt Romney wins the presidential election, raising the prospect of civil unrest if Obama fails to secure a second term.
The new threats continue to dominate Twitter and the vast majority make no reference to press coverage of the issue over the last week, illustrating the fact that they are a legitimate expression of how many Obama voters plan to respond if Romney comes out on top, and not merely a reaction to media hype.
An Infowars.com story written by Michael Snyder which was picked up by the Drudge Report over the weekend and has since gone viral documented how Twitter was flooded with messages from Obama supporters threatening to riot, a sign that “whichever side loses this election will accuse the other side of stealing the election.”
The story was subsequently picked up by innumerable media outlets. Highly respected economist and philosopherThomas Sowell also voiced his concerns that race riots could ensue if Obama is not re-elected.
Checking Twitter feeds this morning, we discovered that threats to riot on behalf of Obama supporters are still flooding in, with the users seemingly unaware of the fact that the media has now picked up on the buzz.
We checked the Twitter accounts and virtually all of them are owned by people who have made hundreds or thousands of previous tweets, proving they are genuine accounts and not fakes.
Examples of what people are saying include the following;
“If obama dont get re-elected & romney wins .. on life every white persons getting pistol whipped and im startin a riot.” (SOURCE)
“If Obama don’t win lets start a riot so Romney know what he’s getting himself into.” (SOURCE)
“You know you ain’t shit if you gotta “MAKE” Mafukas vote for ROMNEY ! …. Mannnn OBAMA better get back in office . Or BLACK FOLKS will riot.” (SOURCE)
“If Romney wins im goin on a rampage.” (SOURCE)

Long enough for global warming. but that's about it.

Sixteen years in more than enough to prove the trend of global warming, but the same period of decline in temperature is apparently insufficient to determine a similar effect of decline and the same period in reverse is apparently analytically irrelevant.

Like Al Gore said: "The debate is over." they are going to keep hammering away at the lie and hopefully down the road their lie will become the truth.
The world stopped getting warmer almost 16 years ago, according to new data released last week.
The figures, which have triggered debate among climate scientists, reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012, there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures.
This means that the ‘plateau’ or ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996. Before that, temperatures had been stable or declining for about 40 years.

Research: The new figures mean that the 'pause' in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996. This picture shows an iceberg melting in Eastern Greenland
The new data, compiled from more than 3,000 measuring points on land and sea, was issued  quietly on the internet, without any media fanfare, and, until today, it has not been reported.
This stands in sharp contrast  to the release of the previous  figures six months ago, which went only to the end of 2010 – a very warm year.
Ending the data then means it is possible to show a slight warming trend since 1997, but 2011 and the first eight months of 2012 were much cooler, and thus this trend is erased.

Some climate scientists, such as Professor Phil Jones, director of the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, last week dismissed the significance of the plateau, saying that 15 or 16 years is too short a period from which to draw conclusions.
Others disagreed. Professor Judith Curry, who is the head of the climate science department at America’s prestigious Georgia Tech university, told The Mail on Sunday that it was clear that the computer models used to predict future warming were ‘deeply flawed’.
Even Prof Jones admitted that he and his colleagues did not understand the impact of ‘natural variability’ – factors such as long-term ocean temperature cycles and changes in the output of the sun. However, he said he was still convinced that the current decade would end up significantly warmer than the previous two.

Biden vx. Ryan. Who Won?

Having watched the debate last night and having read and listened to many of the critiques and reviews this morning, my reaction is that nothing has really changed in the race by this debate. Reactionary polls hours after the debate don't really mean a lot or represent how the election will turn out next month in my opinion.

Most Americans already know who they are going to vote for and these debates won't change that. What may change are the 10% of ignorant voters (undecided)  who consistently wait for the media to tell them who won what and who to vote for.

What I saw last night was a typical democrat jackass, debating a young bull elephant. Biden was arrogant, condescending and seemingly entertaining himself inside his own head. I don't believe many Americans were swayed by his smirking or his attempts to talk down to Ryan. I also don't believe Ryan scored major points against Biden by trying to be respectful in the face of Biden's attack..

Ryan looked unsure and rattled at times, almost as if he was looking or waiting for permission to respond or go after Biden's statements. Ryan had his fact in order and he did succeed in putting a couple of laugh lines into the debate, particularly as it concerns Biden's tendency to misspeak; however, this debate wasn't about gotcha moments of dialogue.

On policy issues of the Obama administration and the president's record, there wasn't any new ground revealed in my observation. The points made and defended have been on the table and in the conversation for months. So this debate was more about trying to make people watching, like one and dislike the other in my opinion.

Those Americans who enjoy the interpretive style and the flippant arrogance of Biden will believe that he won. Those who don't appreciate that style of personality won't. Ryan was aggressive, but not personally attacking Biden the way Biden seemed to be attacking Ryan. To me it appeared more like the young lion battling the old dragon in his own lair and under the dragon's terms. It appeared that Ryan was waiting for some invisible judge to step in and tell him that it was alright to not be nice, since his opponent obviously wasn't being nice.

The bottom line. This was a political debate. Those involved should be spirited and aggressive in the defense of their positions and the attacks on their opponent's positions. There is no need for arrogance or condescension, but there is plenty of room for hard facts and pinning your opponent's ears back with the facts.

On observation, I believe Biden scored more points in trying to pin Ryan's ears back, but the way he did it with his smiling and smirking and his talking over and interrupting Ryan took all the effect out of his approach. Meanwhile, Ryan's attempts to come off as respectful and patiently waiting for someone to give him permission to take the gloves off, didn't really come across well in my opinion.

In the end, I don't think either one of them won the debate. What I think America got is what should have been expected. We saw an ass being himself and we saw a junior statesman attempting to respectfully do battle with an opponent who had no intentions of reciprocating.

On one final point.... I believe Biden wins hands down on teeth and Ryan has unbeatable abs.

Cutter stands by her statement

Interesting. Mainstream media is letting Cutter and the Obama administration walk on a pass ball that is so obviously biased that it hurts. Romney's campaign manager would never get to first base with a statement like this attacking Obama in a similar fashion. And yet Cutter stands by her remarks. Meanwhile Obama is mum on the issue and the media is focused entirely on the debates tonight and their hopes that Biden won't make a complete ass of himself. Amazing

DANVILLE, KY - Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter said she would "absolutely not" resign over comments she made earlier today on CNN, asserting that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are the "entire reason" the 9/11 Benghazi massacre is a national political issue. She told Townhall she stands by her remarks and referred back to an official written statement before briskly walking away and refusing to answer further questions:

Pope prays in Arabic for first time

I am quite sure that the followers and advocates of egalitarian secular humanism will embrace this news of the Pope's prayers in Arabic as an example of tolerance and multiculturalism being demonstrated by the Holy Father. However, there are many in the Christian and Catholic community globally who will see this act for what it really represents.

This action by the Pope marks an abdication to Islam by Catholicism and the Holy Father and a signal that the Catholic church is now being guided by forces spoken of in the book of Revelations. About ten weeks now from the epoch mentioned in numerous religions and by numerous tribes concerning changes that are looming on the equinox of December 21st 2012 will arrive. We shall see what comes and what else occurs as the days grow shorter.

Pope prays in Arabic for first time

Pope Benedict XVI has pronounced a blessing in Arabic at his weekly audience in front of 20,000 pilgrims on St Peter's Square -- the first time the language has been used at such an event.

Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday pronounced a blessing in Arabic at his weekly audience in front of 20,000 pilgrims on St Peter's Square -- the first time the language has been used at such an event.
"The pope prays for all Arabic speakers. May God bless you all!" the pope said in Arabic at the audience, after a bishop read out an Arabic translation of the pope's comments praising the results of the Second Vatican Council.
The landmark Council, which began 50 years ago this week, is a "compass" for the Catholic Church "in the middle of the storms", the pope said.
As a young reformer, the then Joseph Ratzinger took part in the Council, better known as Vatican II, which revolutionised Catholic rituals.

Sunny Day? Not so for Big Bird

Not such a sunny day on Sesame Street it seems.

Big Bird, it seems, isn’t thrilled about his cameo in the presidential race.
The folks at Sesame Street are asking the Obama campaign to pull down a TV ad released Tuesday that mocks Mitt Romney for vowing to yank the subsidy to PBS.
At the presidential debate in Denver last week, Mr. Romney said he would end the subsidy in view of the nation’s fiscal troubles.

Apparently the folks at sesame Street didn't like the president using their clips for his ad.

Democrats: Gotta Love Them Taxes!

Has a democrat ever seen or heard of a tax that they don't like?  Yet another example. And this one is another stab at guns and gun rights. How about this madam president of the Chi town hustlers? What about we start taxing politicians for their ignorance and stupidity quotient?

Someone like Nancy Pelosi would immediately forfeit all pay and allowances for the entire year on the heals of the "we have to pass it to see what's in it" remark.

And those like this twit, could easily qualify for at least a 70% Stupid quotient.

Drawing the ire of the gun lobby, Cook County Board President Preckwinkle is eyeing a violence tax on guns and ammunition sold in the city and suburbs, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.
Such a tax alone wouldn’t close a $115 million budget gap in 2013, but it could at least funnel money into the county’s $3 billion operation — where roughly two-thirds of the budget pays for both the county’s public health clinics and two hospitals along with the criminal justice system that includes the courts and jail.
“If we were to pursue a tax on something like guns and ammo, clearly that wouldn’t be popular with the [gun lobby] out there, and it may not generate $50 million, but ... it is consistent with our commitment to pursuing violence reduction in the city and in the county,” Kurt Summers, Preckwinkle’s chief of staff, said on Monday.
The idea is to curb the number of guns in circulation, he said, citing a report issued last summer showing that nearly one-third of the guns recovered on Chicago’s streets were purchased in suburban gun shops. Other statistics are more dire: Murders in Chicago are up 25 percent this year, according to recent police statistics, and the county jail is filling up — with 9,000-plus inmates, nearing the 10,155 capacity.
Along with the tragic human toll, gun violence takes a toll on government coffers.
“It impacts law enforcement, both at the city and the county [levels]. It impacts the courtrooms, the public defender and state’s attorney that are in there, the judges that are in there, the clerk of the court that has to sit there, the sheriff’s deputies that are in that courtroom and it impacts the jail — the folks that are sitting there at $143 a day,” he said, referring to the daily cost of keeping an inmate behind bars.

Two candidates, two very different perspectives

I have never been a fan of over confidence. not since reading the story of David and Goliath. Anything can happen when a determined opponent appears. And but for the want of a good ai, and a well placed stone, Goliath would have easily bested the miniscule challenger.

Right now I am wondering. how many pebbles does Romney have in his pouch and will his ai this last three weeks be what is needed to best Obama.

We shall see. Never trust a portrayed underdog when the media is creating the hype

Obama: I’m Only Going To Win If ‘Everybody Is Almost Obsessive’

Exactly one month from Election Day, Republican Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are both declaring they will win a race for the White House that remains anything but clear. Their trails are crossing again in Ohio, the state that could decide the election, and signs of urgency are emerging from each campaign.

“I very much intend to win this election,” Obama told donors in San Francisco Monday night. “But we’re only going to do it if everybody is almost obsessive for the next 29 days.”

Romney stood in a driving rain in Newport News, Va., his wet hair sticking to the side of his face, to join the kinds of die-hard supporters he needs for victory.

“People wonder why it is I’m so confident we’re going to win,” he told them. “I’m confident because I see you here on a day like this. This is unbelievable.”

White actress endorses Obama

Actually, the headline is reversed. A black actress endorsing Romney? Egregious! Unthinkable. Unforgivable!
Twitter Responds to Actress Stacey Dashs Endorsement of Republican Mitt Romney
Actress Stacey Dash, who has starred in everything from the 90′s hit Clueless to CSI, prompted a firestorm on Twitter after publicly endorsing Republican nominee Mitt Romney, and then standing by her opinion.
“Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney,” Dash wrote on her official Twitter page, accompanied by a photo of herself with an American flag.
Not long after, presumed Obama supporters began insulting Dash for her opinion, saying she isn’t “black” enough, several even asking if the actress would just “kill herself.”
One man wrote: “This hurts but you a Romney lover and you slutting yourself to the white man only proves why no black man married u @REALStaceyDash.”
As news of Dash’s treatment spread, however, First Amendment-lovers nationwide began voicing their support for the actress using the hashtag #ISupportStaceyDash.
Twitchy captured some of the worst responses to Dash’s Romney endorsement (content warning):

And here are a few more (content warning):

But Dash was apparently undeterred by the cruel reaction, and sent a number of sarcastic responses to the worst offenders, wrote a tweet reminding that she is entitled to her own opinion, and– to top it off– re-tweeted a Romney campaign message.
“Women have had enough of @BarackObama’s disappointment. We need new leadership to get our economy growing again…” the re-tweeted message reads.

One man summed it up as a choice between Republican Utah congressional nominee Mia Love and Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke.
#ISupportStaceyDash regardless of whether she gets a phone call form #Obama or not,” another wrote, highlighting the stark contrast between how quickly Fluke was propped up after being called a “slut” for advocating taxpayer-funded birth control, and how quickly Republican Stacey Dash was dragged through the mud for failing to support Obama in 2012.
