Biden....'it's just too hard to explain.'

If there is a single phrase that best sums up Joe Biden? It has got to be "God love him!" Not singly because it is one of his own personal favorites, but more so because there is no better summation of the man or his career of work as a politician.

Here we are, three weeks out from the midterms and the democrats know that they are in a losing cause. So aside from the president and David Axelrod attacking the American Chamber of Commerce and trying to accuse the GOP of precisely what the democrats did to get Obama elected, they are sending good old Joe out to stump and try to make chicken salad out of chicken manure.

And it ain't working.

Biden, Obama's Traveling Salesman, Makes Hard Sell to Voters

He’s flown 330,000 miles since taking office, the equivalent of circling the globe 13 times, much of it campaigning for Democrats and telling anxious voters that the $814 billion stimulus measure is working. Vice President Joe Biden knows it’s a hard sell.
“Less bad is never good enough,” Biden said in an interview on board Air Force Two on Oct. 8, the same day that Labor Department figures showed the jobless rate held steady at 9.6 percent in September, the last yardstick before voters in the Nov. 2 elections determine which party controls Congress.
“Voters want to be told the truth,” Biden said on the way to Madison, Wisconsin, jacketless, kneeling against the back of an airplane seat and holding gold-trimmed aviator sunglasses. “They want to know, ‘Tell me, man, do I have a shot?’” he said, his enthusiasm undeterred by a cold.
With unemployment topping 9.5 percent for 14 straight months, Biden is having difficulty trumpeting the 3.3 million jobs created or saved by the White House’s economic stimulus.
“It’s just really hard to convince people that when there weren’t, up until the first of the year, when there weren’t net new jobs it’s awful hard to say, ‘It’s working,’” he said at the end of a three-state campaign swing Oct. 7-8 for four Democratic candidates in Wisconsin, Missouri, and Washington. “It’s counterintuitive.”

Even poor old Joe knows that making this sale? Is right up there with selling bear turds to Eskimos. It just ain't gonna happen.

What was it Joe called it? Oh yes....counterintuitive. Yep, that would be what it is alright. Another way of saying it would be to say that the American people now recognize a bald face lie when they see one. So they aren't buying and Joe knows it.

Sarcozy and the French are out of options...

Chaos and anarchy to follow.

One of the great overlooked problems with socialism, is that once it has been established in a society, it must at some point reach it's tipping point. The point at which the society can no longer sustain the obligations. The point at which the system collapses upon itself.

That point has been reached in France and it will soon be reached in other European countries and the UK. The days of wine and roses are over. The simple fact is, these Societies cannot sustain unrestrained socialist giveaway programs.  And now that they are facing the inevitable, those about to be cut and those yet to receive their slice of the public pie are spilling into the streets demanding that the end cannot (will not) be.

But it is......

Sarkozy stands firm as pension protests escalate

President Nicolas Sarkozy could face the greatest challenge of his presidency in the next few days as a month-old protest against pension reform swells towards outright confrontation.
More than 3 million demonstrators – one in 20 of all French people – marched yesterday against the President's plans to raise the standard retirement age from 60 to 62. Tens of thousands of students joined the marches for the first time, threatening to radicalise the protests and broaden them into a rebellion against a deeply unpopular presidency.
Militant union branches in the railway and oil-refining industries were pushing last night for a showdown with Mr Sarkozy, who has made reform of the loss-making state pension system the make-or-break issue of his final 20 months in office.
When societies collapse, chaos and violence are always the end result. The collapse has begun in France and unless something happens to forestall or postpone the reality that president Sarkozy is being forced to address financially, then the outcome is both predictable and inevitable. As the days and weeks pass, France will slip farther and farther into the abyss of social anarchy, until a point is reached where the economy completely collapses and all that is left is rioting and rampaging in the streets. Then comes civil war.

Much has been written about history repeating itself and the French are about to receive a front row seat to their own latest chapter.

Are democrats becoming republicans?

It damn sure looks that way in a lot of these congressional races. Having spent the last ten years demonizing the GOP, many democrats are now trying to demonstrate their allegiances and supposed commonality of thought as they approach what they have to realize is going to be a good old country butt whipping at the polls come November.

Can democrats become republicans? You betcha they can when they  know their azz is on the line.  I believe that the America electorate is smarter now than they were two years ago.

Let's hope so.

What is Obama counting on......

From the looks of it, Obama is counting on white America ignoring his own racial pandering and the outright racism of his campaign rhetoric aimed at republicans and the midterms.

I don't think it's working.....

Obama Pledges Investigation

A tragedy of war has occurred in Afghanistan. A British aid worker was kidnapped by the Taliban and in an attempt to rescue her from her captors, the woman died during the rescue.

Initially it was reported that she died as a result of one of her captors detonating a bomb and killing them both. Now the allegations are that one of the US Special Forces soldiers involved in the rescue may have thrown a grenade and that was the cause of her death.

In either event, there are certain immutable realities as it concerns this incident in particular and the war in general. And those realities are, that people get killed on both sides of the ball.  War is not some simple scrimmage between teams. It is life and death and it is certainly unpredictable. Therefore, when those safely in the rear or at home in their lounge chairs attempt to quantify and correlate their views of how things should have happened, it is a laughable exercise to say the least. It is also sickening to those who have been there and witnessed true death and carnage at the hands of maniacal zealots.

Obama Pledges Investigation

President Barack Obama promised "to get to the bottom" of a failed rescue attempt by U.S. special forces that ended in the death a captive British aid worker in Afghanistan, after NATO said an American grenade may have killed her.

Obama offered his condolences to Prime Minister David Cameron in a phone call Monday and promised a full investigation.
NATO initially said a Taliban bomb killed Linda Norgrove, 36, during Friday's operation to free her from a compound in the eastern province of Kunar.
However, the coalition said Monday that, after reviewing surveillance footage, it is possible U.S. forces may have thrown a grenade that killed Norgrove nearly two weeks after she was kidnapped while traveling in the east.
"The review showed what was believed to be a member of the rescue team throwing a hand grenade in the area near where Ms. Norgrove was later found," said NATO spokeswoman Maj. Sunset Belinsky. "It's now unclear what the exact circumstances surrounding her death are, and the investigation will attempt to determine the facts."

The bottom line. the woman was kidnapped by Islamic radicals (also known as "the religion of peace."). A rescue was attempted by the most elite military special forces on this planet. But in the end the victim died along with her captors during the rescue attempt. In the real world, there are no perfect endings. People die and many times innocent people die or are sacrificed as a result of nothing more sinister than circumstances.

This poor woman didn't die as a result of her rescue, she died as a result of her captivity at the hands of murdering bastards and that should be noted first and foremost before any commentary is proffered by those in the ivory towers.

But no, now we must have a presidential ordered investigation into who screwed up, who's to blame. Blame must be assigned to someone, even if the reality belies the fact of a trick of fate. Someone must be held politically responsible and made to pay for not being perfect.

Meanwhile, those truly responsible for this death continue on in the business of creating more death and more misery and no one questions their motives for fear of being called racist.

In a reasoned world with capable leadership? We would be pressing forth as a nation and as allies to avenge the death of this innocent woman. Instead, we are engaging in another round of public flaggelation of the evil American military.

Biden steps up attack on GOP

There are a lot of euphemisms and ironies that come to mind any time Joe Biden's name is mentioned, not the least of which might be....."pot...kettle....black." Especially as it concerns the current democrat attack plan for attempting to stave off the losses that they realize are now unavoidable.

The time to change course and salvage their control passed through their hands over a year ago. Back when they were hell bent to pass (force) health care and all the while ignoring the real problems in America. Minor things like an avalanche of job losses and an economy literally in critical condition.

Back when they could have done something meaningful, they opted to do what they always do. Spend more of the money that we as a nation don't have and create more meaningless federal programs to increase the deficit that much more. So no having squandered every opportunity to listen to and serve the people, they want to trot out among other things, their equivalent of the court jester to attempt to haul more water and sling more mud.

Vice President Joe Biden on Monday criticized outside Republican groups for pouring vast sums of unaccounted-for cash into GOP campaign coffers, hinting that some of the money might come from "foreign sources."
"It bothers me, all these unattributed contributions," he told Democratic campaign workers outside Scranton. "Where is all this money from?"

Here is a clue Joe.....you were a useless liberal US Senator from New Hampshire and you are less than useless as a liberal vice president. Your ability to simply be a yes man for this supposed messiah of a president is laughable. And yet as expected, even after everything you have touched has turned to public relations manure, they still want to trot you out to take your lame swings at their over inflated straw men targets in the media.

Have a look at the reality Joe. You and your man took in millions of dollars in unaccounted for and illegal campaign contributions during the 2008 election. That certainly doesn't justify anyone else in doing the same. But it certainly destroys you and your bosses credibility on all levels to raise any issue or take any exception to anyone else. Maybe you should try doing commercials for Mastercard and Visa, because you might actually have some credibility there

In the mean time keep hustling the tripe and the company line Joe. Give it all you've got, because in the end, that is all you have. Once the democrats are challenged to defend their record and provide hard data and statistics to support their socialist pipe dreams, all they can ever seem to come up with are accusations of fault and blame on everyone else.

You know what Joe? I'll bet if you put some effort into it? You and Barack can even come up with some bizarre claim that George Bush is in reality over seas stumping for cash contributions to the GOP coffers. Go for it Joe... We need the laughs.......

Rove & Gillespie latest victims of Obama lies

Will Rogers once said, 'there are lies, there are damn lies and there are statistics.' What he meant to say, was 'there are liars, there are damn liars and there are democrats!'

Karl Rove says that these most recent attacks on the GOP by Obama are beyond the pale, then questions if this president has no shame. I say those two elements have previously been established as major character traits of this man and his presidency, therefore, nothing he does at this point should come as any surprise to anyone.

But the irony in my opinion is this. Obama and the democrats know that they have so severely crapped it up over the past four years, that the American people are not only sick of their tripe, but they are also aware and knowledgeable now as to who and what are responsible for their continued misery.

It was a sad day in 2006 when America allowed these raiders of the American treasury back into control in congress. Then followed that up in 2008 by electing an outright Fabian socialist and rank amateur and socialist apologist to the White House. But after the last two years of witnessing the true concerns of democrats, all the while watching their jobs and the nation's economy die on the parched plains of Obama socialism?

Well the people are definitely ready for a change this go round and when they are finished this November, the democrats will feel like they just experienced a tornado on Capitol Hill.

So is there any wonder that the man is pulling out all stops and launching all manner of lies in his vain attempt to hold on to the socialist illusion that he has crafted for this nation over the past two years?

I say no. but the true irony in my opinion is this. Calling the republicans out for supposedly accepting foreign contributions? Is the man mad as a hatter or simply stupid? Or does he simply forget about the tens of millions that the democrats raised during his campaign from foreign contributors over the internet. Neither....

Many Americans remember the last election where the feds allowed for unknown contributors to kick in millions to the Obama campaign. With absolutely no checks or balances or verification of any kind on who was contributing the money or where they were making their donations from (as in what countries).

Articles were written at the time and a few news pieces trickled out pointing to the violations of federal campaign laws and the fact that by barely scratching the surface investigatively, one could easily track the money back to sources like George Soros and other liberal socialist mega sponsors, both in America and abroad. People who were funneling money to the Obama campaign by the truck load. But no one in main stream media cared or was concerned, as they were in pursuit of electing America's first black president, come hell or high water.

That and the fact that they were too afraid of being hung with the "R" word and being called racist for even attempting to do their jobs and report the truth. And now we have both seen, experienced and lived through the result of a complacent electorate and a complacent and complicit media.

Read on.................
Two top Republicans lit into President Obama and the Democratic Party Sunday over accusations that the GOP strategists and the Chamber of Commerce were using foreign contributions to influence the election, calling the claim a "baseless lie" and accusing the president of "abuse of power."

Karl Rove, a Fox News contributor, said on "Fox News Sunday" that the president had gone too far.

"Have these people no shame? Does the president of the United States have such little regard for the office that he holds that he goes out there and makes these kind of baseless charges against his political enemies?" Rove said. "This is just beyond the pale. How dare the president do this."

Rove was referring to a series of charges that have been leveled over the past week. Obama first said at a rally in Maryland Thursday that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which he referred to without mentioning by name, was paying for ads against Democrats while taking money from "foreign corporations."

"So groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections, and they won't tell you where the money for their ads come from," Obama said.

Then Obama twice mentioned Rove by name at an Illinois rally, saying "two groups funded and advised by Karl Rove have outspent the Democratic Party 2 to1 in an attempt to beat" Democratic Senate nominee Alexi Giannoulias.

Then the Democratic National Committee rolled out an ad accusing Rove, former Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie and the Chamber of Commerce of "stealing our democracy."
