Another Katrina? they can always hope.

Who would want to see the utter devastation wrought by a storm like Katrina re-visited on America? In a word, the "media." They have never gotten over Katrina. What a bonanza of misery of misery to choose from for their reporters and camera people. And the side angle of a distant and removed president who allegedly allowed people to die. Katrina was special for them. People left for dead in the streets of New Orleans. Thousands left stranded and abandoned at the Super Dome by an uncaring mayor. Scratch that!  An uncaring president

It has been seven years since Katrina and every year since, they have prognosticated and predicted and hoped against hope that mother nature would bless them once again with a killer storm of the magnitude of a Katrina. So is it any wonder that the media is getting giddy with anticipation over Issac? A storm that stands to mimic Katrina's exact track and on the seven year anniversary of Katrina?

Issac may not be the killer that Katrina was, but at least he will provide some much needed copy and video time for a media that literally thrives on death and misery. Stay tuned, you never know, Issac may not disappoint after all.  And the global warmers will be peeing their pants also. What a bunch of sick people.

A couple watch as waves and strong winds from Tropical Storm Isaac, which passed by Cuba on Sunday, batter the shore in Gibara, Cuba, on Saturday, August 25.

Eerie similarities: Isaac follows track of Katrina

Thousands in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama were being told early Monday to leave their Gulf Coast homes ahead of the arrival of Tropical Storm Isaac as forecasters warned it was gaining strength as it followed the same path Hurricane Katrina took seven years earlier.

The governors of the three states each declared an emergency, with Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley ordering mandatory evacuations to begin at 8 a.m. for residents who live along the coast and for those in some low-lying areas inland.

"I am urging everyone to take precautions now, monitor weather warnings, and be prepared for whatever Isaac may bring," Bentley said in a statement released Sunday.
