Cap & Trade "There's a Sign Post Up Ahead"

House narrowly passes major energy-climate bill

By a margin of seven votes late yesterday afternoon, the US House of (non) representatives, signed the death warrant for the American economy and any hope of survival for the American people, to ever pull out of this recession without a depression IMO.

Yes, it is now only a matter of time before the great depression that has long been feared actually arrives in America and is recreated in our time with a vengeance. The plug has been pulled on our economy by those that we elected to represent our better interests in Washington and they had their hands on the lever every inch of the way. They have given themselves over to the loyalty of Marxist idealism as opposed to the people who elected them and now, we will all must suffer the consequences of failing in our diligence to insure that they looked out for our better interests.

America was already on life support, with a staggering economy and monthly job losses literally crushing the breath out of every gasp and attempt made by the economy to catch its breath.

But never mind all that, this isn't about saving the nation's economy for the Washington liberal socialist elite. This is about wrecking it, plain and simple. And that has been their plan ever since Barrack Hussein Obama and his handlers first positioned him to run for the presidency of the United States. The best laid plans of mice and men? Not hardly. These were and are the best laid plans of Marxist socialists and those who have spent their lives constructing the means and deploying the methodologies of destroying individual freedom and capitalism in America. And they are finally succeeding. And yesterday they achieved a mortal blow IMO.

The messianic one promised during the campaign that he would kill the coal industry in America. Barrack Hussein Obama was on record. Obama to kill coal? Swing states erupt

"If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can," Obama said in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle. "It's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted."

And what did the American people say to that campaign promise from the man who promised change? How did they react in the coal states to his promise of putting them out of work and out of business and in the poor house of destitution?

Well let's see.......

This is the map of coal producing states in America.

And this is a map of the states that voted for Obama....

Yes, half of the coal producing states in America voted for Barack Hussein Obama.

And yesterday the United States Congress cemented the inevitability of collapse of the American coal industry with their passage of this supposed "energy bill." The prophesy is proven. Barack Obama does intend to bankrupt the American coal industry.

“We passed transformational legislation which takes us into the future,” Pelosi said at a press conference following the vote, after she and other leaders took congratulatory phone calls from Obama, former Vice President Al Gore and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

You most certainly did Madam Speaker and the American people will rue the day that they ever saw this socialist interloper and his rogues gallery of socialist progressives such as yourself handed the reins of legislative power in this country.

At the very moment in time when America is struggling and laboring to breath under the weight of the most crushing recession and job losses in our history? You have lead the way to the slaughter of American survivability on the alter of egalitarian socialism and it's bastard sibling Marxist relativism.

These supposed mother earth environmentalists who have created this lunacy and their minions in Washington, are after nothing less than murdering the great beast that once was the American economy. Don't be confused and don't be blinded by what is actually going on here folks. While the America coal industry is being dealt its death blows by this Barack Obama inspired and Nancy Pelosi crafted energy bill, China and the rest are proceeding full ahead to develop their coal industries unrestrained. They don't even have 1940's regulatory oversight on their coal production or coal fired plants.

Mean while, Europeans are developing their nuclear powered plants, while we here in America have been lulled into the lies of socialist guilt and the belief that we don't deserve to enjoy what we have provided for ourselves and the majority of the world for the past 100 years. We have no right to either coal or nuclear power. Leave that for the Chinese, the Indians, the N Koreans and the Iranians. And get rid of those damned SUV's while you are at it people. Prepare to buy bicycles for your daily commute, because that is where we are headed as a nation.

As the costs of energy for Americans begins to rise in the weeks and months ahead, I only hope that Americans will look back and remember who and what did this to them. As their power bills increase and their cost of gas at the pump and their costs of food in the grocery becomes astronomical.

Oh yes....the cost of living in America is about to go dramatically up friends. But take heart! You have done something to strike a blow for the planet! Mother earth rejoices in your misery and snickers at your illiterate ignorance of realities and the ability of harlequin jesters to convince you to bleed yourselves to death.

And yes, your representatives (the ones that you elected) will dress this pig and paint on any color that helps sooth your raw nerves as the months progress. So do prepare yourselves to return the favor come November of 2010 and again in November 2012. As those are the next stops on this run away train into oblivion.

Rod Serling said it best IMO.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone!"

We can only pray that it doesn't make it through the Senate in the next couple of months.

I find myself... amazed again at this "day" we find ourselves in.

In all fairness? What can stop it? There are not enough votes in the senate to stop it. Particularly with the RINO's present.

It sure looks like it will make it through the Senate. As my wife said today, "I gotta get a gun". Guess my H&K 45 is a little too big for her.

But seriously...with 59 Democrats in the Senate (I'm counting Lieberman), I just don't see that there will be 10 defectors. The only good news is that on a bill with this much importance, Biden will be the President of the Senate on the day of the vote. He'll probably screw up and vote against it. That's our only hope...

Hey Texican... your hope statement for Biden actually made me laugh out loud! Thanks for that!

I remember during the campaign hearing Obama clearly say that we should pursue "clean coal" technology. I also remember thinking, "If he doesn't follow though on this he should be impeached for lying to the American People."

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news? But lying to the American people isn't an impeachable offense.

Billy boy settled that once and for all.

As for the chances of this making it out of the senate? I'd say they are more than good.

How in the world could anyone believe in someone who blatantly lies about themselves to gain a position? I just don't get it.

Few weeks ago a dude was charged with something for lying about being an Iraqi vet, he had actually never been in the service. What the hell about someone who lies themselves into the position of being Commander in Chief of our military?!

Know what Lo? I'm about to just plain get... mad... I mean lying about who and what you are... isn't that kind of like being a terrorist? They present themselves as one thing when they are in fact something totally different.
