When a partisan isn't partisan

General Dempsey needs to go look in a mirror. He also needs to read and re-read his history. The UCMJ prohibits active duty military personnel from commenting on or criticizing the commander in chief. Once you leave the military, your first amendment rights are restored general.

As for partisanship? Have a look around general. You wouldn't be where you are except for your partisan political rump kissing to get there. So forget the scornful eye cast on those who have served and bled, when they are assessing the poser in chief and his record of shame.

Men of honor will speak up and speak out general. they always have and they will continue to do so. And some of them eventually run for public office after they leave the military. Like I said general, read your history. To that I would add, don't expect the rest of us to buy the chees you are hustling for this administration.
Dempsey 'disappointed' by anti-Obama campaign by ex-military members

The United States' top military official criticized a group of former military and intelligence operatives for its aggressive campaign against President Obama, telling Fox News that he is "disappointed" by such political activity, which he called "not useful."
The group of former CIA agents, Navy SEALs and other military members recently released a long-form political ad blasting Obama for security leaks on his watch, as well as suggesting he has taken too much credit for the SEALs raid in Pakistan that killed Usama bin Laden.
“If someone uses the uniform, whatever uniform, for partisan politics, I am disappointed because I think it does erode that bond of trust we have with the American people,” Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said in an interview with Fox News while flying back from a trip to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Unless it's a gay parade they attend in uniform. Then it's okay.
