Herman Cain: "Don't blame Wall Street"

I know, it's a novel idea isn't it. Especially in our no fault, blame everyone else first society. A culture that is always in pursuit of egalitarian fairness above and beyond common sense or reason . More importantly, Herman Cain shines a light into that dark place where the truth lives and as a result, you can count on him taking hits from the media and the liberals who always blame everyone else first for their own failures. And you can count on the left to brand Herman Cain as a racist based upon these remarks and others.

Can a black man in America be a racist? Most certainly he can, but only if he is not aligned with the ideology and partisan politics of the democrat party and their plantation management of racial politics in America. Read on.....

If you're not rich 'blame yourself' Unemployed Wall Street protesters only have themselves to blame for lacking a job, so says Herman Cain.

The Republican presidential candidate insisted that the demonstrations were being "orchestrated" to help President Obama.

"I don't have the facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama Administration," Cain told the Wall Street Journal.

The Tea Party favorite then argued that the plight of the unemployed was their own fault.

"Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks, if you don't have a job and you're not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone's fault if they succeeded, it is someone's fault if they failed," the ex-Godfather's Pizza CEO declared.

The fiery remarks come as protest organizers plan for their biggest demonstrations yet -- at least 2,000 people are expected to gather in lower Manhattan Wednesday.

Cain's assessment is pretty simple. it's called accepting personal responsibility for yourself first and stop blaming others. As I said, a novel idea. Something the liberal left might learn from, particularly if they were to take a look back over their shoulders. Back to a time when a young American president was asking Americans to first ask what they could do for their country, before they asked what their country could do for them.

Fast forward fifty years and we have another young president who blames everything on everyone else. First he blamed his predecessor, then he blamed congress and now he blames everyday Americans for not sucking it up and not pressing on.

Meanwhile, he ignores the failures of his administration and it's failed blatantly socialist policies (which he owns), while at the same time continuing to demonize the so called evil rich and offering up taxation and more spending as the magic bullets to supposedly instantly cure all of our economic woes. Those responsible for creating and sustaining the American economy are demonized and held up for castigation for their success by this president, while his union organizing thugs march and shout right on! and demand that the government take more from the successful and give to them. Why? Because that's only fair!

There in lies the dichotomy between a black man like Herman Cain and the black man Barack Obama. Barack Obama blames America first and attacks every institution that made this nation great. Mean while, Herman Cain is calling out the truth and speaking truth to the false gods of socialist entitlements and government intrusion into our rights and freedoms: and as a result, Herman Cain has become a prime target of race baiting and those who seek to silence his message period.

Four years ago there were those who were concerned that there were elements of our society who might try to lash out at candidate and ultimately president Barack Obama. Is that concern any less a reality for Herman Cain? I believe that it is a realistic concern and more so as it concerns Herman Cain than Barack Obama.

When you are scanning the faces of protests and the screaming spewing of hatred and vitriol, you don't need to visit a Tea Party protest to find those images. On the contrary, you need to have a look right now at these 'occupy Wall Street' protests. It's always the same, be it occupy Wall Street or Code Pink or Pro choice or pro union marches, the participants at these leftists protests and marches are always manic and angered over what they see as unjust or racist or the result of the evil rich taking advantage of the poor. The liberal party line and lists of enemies never changes.

Herman Cain's message is beginning to resonate with black and white Americans and as such, the danger to him becoming the focal point of leftist anger and hate increases exponentially in my opinion. There is a point in time when Secret Service protection attaches to potential presidential candidates. I don't know when those decisions are made or what the qualifications of judgement to assign that protection is, but I certainly hope that the decision comes soon for Herman Cain. As I scan the faces and listen to the vitriol in these occupy Wall Street crowds, I fear for what might be spawned and spurred into taking some radical and manic action against the object of their hatred.

Meanwhile, Herman Cain is making a difference on the political landscape of this presidential cycle and he is doing so with reasoned arguments and simple concepts and an easy and down home articulation of his proposals to set this nation back on track to prosperity. Cain's proposals resonate at the grass roots level and that is scaring hell out of the left.

While the media is busily instigating dissension and keeping the pumps primed for the continued street theater of Romney vs. Perry, Herman Cain has steadily been rising in the court of public opinion and finding a connection with the American people. So much so now, that he has become a viable threat to the status quo. .Therefore, when Herman Cain speaks the truth, look to see the media scrutinize and attempt to find the flaws that they believe corrupt his message and make him an enemy to his own people. The media will be the one's to continually revisit the allegations of Cain's racism.

Racial politics is alive and well in America and what we are about to witness in the next few months will be a case study in why a black man like Herman Cain and black men like congressman Alan West cannot be allowed to be portrayed as either sensible or reasoned by democrats and a complicit media. .

Bantering with the audience at a fundraiser in St. Louis yesterday, President Barack Obama bragged about a new regulation, proposed by the Department of Health and Human Services, that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has denounced as an “unprecedented attack on religious liberty.”

"Darn right!" an audience member at the fundraiser shouted as Obama described the regulation.

“Darn tooting!” Obama said back.

The proposed regulation, designed to implement part of Obamacare, will require all private health plans in the United States to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives--including those that cause abortions—without charging any fees or co-pay. These regulations were drawn to implement a provision in Obama’s health-care law that calls for all health-care plans to cover “preventive services.”

Occupying Wall Street: "It's really simple."

So say those involved and organizing the third week of protests against those on Wall Street and the evil rich.

As the Occupy Wall Street protesters rally for a third week, social media sites such as Twitter seem to be spurring similar protests in other cities.

A Twitter account called Occupy Boston mentions a citywide college walkout there Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Massachusetts Nurses Association says hundreds of the city's nurses will rally with the Occupy Boston protesters on Wednesday. The association says the protest will be part of the opening day activities for a national nursing convention in Boston.

"It's really simple. These young people on Wall Street are giving voice to many of the problems that working people in America have been confronting over the last several years," said Larry Hanley, international president of the Amalgamated Transit Union, which has 20,000 members in the New York area.

"These young people are speaking for the vast majority of Americans who are frustrated by the bankers and brokers who have profited on the backs of hard-working people," Hanley added in a statement. "While we battle it out day after day, month after month, the millionaires and billionaires on Wall Street sit by -- untouched -- and lecture us on the level of our sacrifice."

So, let's review. According to President Obama, there is no intent at initiating class warfare in America. That is all a hallucination of the republicans and the right wing. I will bet that if asked, Obama would assure America that his union thugs in SEIU and the UAW and AFSCME and the other government employees unions don't have anything to do with these protests on Wall Street.

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain! The Great and powerful Oz has spoken!" So says Obama and his legion.....

"Take off your bedroom slippers, put on your marching shoes! Shake it off! Stop complaining! Stop grumbling! Stop Crying! We are gonna press on! We've got work to do!"

Still not making the connections? Can't see the parallels? This is the liberal response to the Tea Party. Phase three of the Alinsky playbook. Get the unions in the street, play up class warfare, but deny it at every opportunity. Encourage and solicit a complicit media to share and spread the message.

"I expect all of you to march with me and press on! "

Modernizing aging infrastructure?

Are Americans being called upon to pay for modernizing an aging infrastructure? Or are they being called upon to pay for Obama's promise to destroy the coal industry in America?

Laura Colarusso on why electricity bills are rising. Utilities across the country need more money for grid updates and pollution controls, and are passing the huge bill on to consumers. Already weary of high gas prices and 9.1 percent unemployment, many Americans are about to get another kick in the wallet thanks to large increases in their electricity bills.

From Alaska to Georgia and Wyoming to Florida, utilities are seeking permission to pass on hundreds of millions of dollars in new charges to customers to help upgrade aging infrastructure and build new or retrofitted power plants that comply with tougher environmental regulations, a Daily Beast review of regulatory filings has found.

The influx of requests, many still pending before state regulators, has left energy experts convinced that electricity prices will be on the rise for the foreseeable future as the industry struggles to modernize its aging infrastructure.

While the Obama administrating have been incessantly bashing and further regulating the American coal industry and demonizing the oil industry, because of their alleged responsibility for leading the world in global warming, there are a few facts being conveniently and purposefully overlooked by this administration.

The dumb masses are gullible and will accept anything the media presents them, just as long as they have their reality programs to follow and their facebook and twitter accounts to play on. Here is a bit of the truth: "China now uses more coal than the United States, Europe and Japan combined, making it the world’s largest emitter of gases that are warming the planet." But the spin by those at the New York Times and other media sources ignores this reality completely and continues to paint America as the only real pollution villain in the world.

China has emerged in the past two years as the world’s leading builder of more efficient, less polluting coal power plants, mastering the technology and driving down the cost. While the United States is still debating whether to build a more efficient kind of coal-fired power plant that uses extremely hot steam, China has begun building such plants at a rate of one a month.

Obama and the environmentalists speak and the leftist media immediately goes into spin mode to prop up and support the representations that are purposely slanted and minus key information and comparative data. 

Well of course the Chinese have more existing coal plants and are building more everyday, but they are going green and doing it the right way!

You really think so huh.....

Prepare to get spanked by your local power company, because you have sat idly by and allowed the Obama administration to levy heavy EPA penalties and unrealistic and unneeded regulations on an already struggling and overburdened American energy grid system. Keep drinking the administration approved and media propelled Kool Aid and keep believing that all you have to do is "your part" and the world will suddenly become Nirvana.

Mean while, watch what happens to your pocketbook and watch what happens to jobs and the economy and your standard of living as we continue to allow our culture and our economy to be degraded by the spread of Obama's socialist policies.

How are you going to feel after your energy prices go up 30% over the next three years and in the end, you still end up having to significantly alter your individual energy consumption. I guess it will feel less painful because you will know that  "you are doing your part to save the planet." And one last note......GM (Govt. Motors) has a lot of those new Volts still available. Better hurry and avoid the rush! GM has only sold 73 of the $60,000 dream vehicles in the last quarter. Far short of their intended goal of 10,000 But what's reality got to do with reality anyway.

New union revelations?

"We are aware of the competition that Ford and General Motors and Chrysler face," UAW President Bob King said Tuesday after announcing terms of a new four-year contract with Ford. "If we are going to succeed in the long run and really be able to have long-run security and decent income for our membership, we can't put Ford and GM and Chrysler at a competitive disadvantage."

So, what is this competitive disadvantage that the UAW president is referring to?

The union that once set the gold standard for American wages is giving up pay raises in exchange for a piece of the auto industry's profits and the promise of thousands of new jobs. Under agreements struck with Ford and General Motors, most of the companies' factory workers will get profit-sharing checks instead of annual raises.

They'll also get a signing bonus. In turn, the automakers will increase their workforces and invest billions more dollars in their factories. It's an unusual turnabout for the United Auto Workers. For decades, its members' pay and benefits were the envy of workers around the world, and it wouldn't hesitate to strike to protect them.

But the agreement signals a new reality. After the industry nearly collapsed two years ago, a sobered UAW is no longer fighting the Big Three but fighting to compete against rivals who pay their workers far less.

The observation seems to be then, that they can either concede reality and begin working in partnership to save their jobs, or they can continue with their industry killing exorbitant union demands and finish off the American auto industry for good. Let's hope that the UAW has found the voice of reason and that other American unions will follow suit before it is too late. Their fate is literally in their own hands in my opinion.

$50,000 X how much?

Senate Democrats are considering a surtax on millionaires to offset the cost of President Barack Obama's $445 billion jobs bill, according to several party aides. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., outlined plans for a 5 percent surcharge in a closed-door meeting with the rank and file, according to participants, as Obama traveled to Texas to deliver his most caustic challenge yet to House Republicans who have not allowed a vote on the legislation unveiled nearly a month ago

OK, so there is the proposition, so let's do the math. 5% of $!,000,000 equals $50,000 So how many millionaires does it take to generate enough money to pay for the $445 billion in Obama's latest tax and spend scheme? Well, that depends on what the definition of millionaire is.

Or is it as Bill Clinton once said: "that depends on what the definition of is, is."

According to Wikipedia quick reference, there are roughly 16.5 million millionaires currently living in America. Which actually means, there are that many people who have assets equal to or exceeding $1,000,000 So, is it Harry Reid's plan to tax people based solely upon their net worth? Or does he intend to tax only those actually earning $1.000.000 annually? Let's work with the former as a starting point.

Doing the math, 5% of $1,000,000 equals $50,000

Multiplied by 16.500.000 and the answer is? 830 000 000 000 (That would be 830 Billion)

So on the surface, that would give Harry and his thugs an almost 100% surplus in increased taxation in one year alone. After they theoretically paid for Obama's dream world jobs bill, they would have a surplus of over 400 billion. So I wonder..

Would that one time hit be good enough for them? Or would they want to spend that extra 400 billion they bled off the prosperous, to pay for more of their so called bills and programs? And how many want to bet that once they got their hands on the first bucket of gold, that they would want more and more and more? Every year endlessly.

I have an idea. What say we pass a bill that allows all alcoholics to simply go to their local liquor store and take five percent of the inventory annually. That should be a sure fire way to end alcoholism. Don't cha think?
