There is nothing quite like watching liberals in congress as they try to figure out how to spend other people's money. And as of late, most republicans too.
This week it has become painfully clear to anyone with a pulse and an IQ above an earthworm, that the president's stimulus program hasn't worked and unemployment continues to rise. WE truly have a summer of discontent upon us. Yet the president's solution is? Let's go after those evil rich people again. Let's make them pony up and then give their money to the supposed middle class. And that will somehow miraculously create more jobs based on the fuzzy math of socialism.
"We need to take further steps to create jobs and keep the economy growing, including extending tax cuts for the middle class and investing in the areas of our economy where the potential for job growth is greatest," the president said in the Rose Garden Friday, flanked by his economic team.
But Democrats are split into three camps. A small but vocal group wants to temporarily extend all the tax cuts passed by George W. Bush, which expire Jan. 1. A larger camp wants to let tax cuts for those earning $250,000 or more expire and use the proceeds for measures such as a payroll-tax holiday or other small-business breaks. And the third contingent wants to end those top-tier cuts and use the revenue to pay down the deficit.
"Everybody's got an idea on this," said a Democratic leadership aide in the Senate.
Let's see if I have this right. Let's let those evil tax cuts on the "rich" that Bush created expire, then congress will give that money to the more deserving "middle class" in the form of legislated fairness. That about it messer president? Let's take it to them evil folks making over $250,000 a year and strip the excess fat from their bones. All them folks who own small businesses, the back bone of American employment. Let's go after them rich evil doers! Let's take their money and give it to the middle class right?
I have a question.....just who do these socialist liberals think the middle class really is? And here is another question. Just how does punishing those who are providing the most jobs in America, equate to the creation of more jobs? It doesn't! If anything, it leads to more job losses.
Then of course, there are those red eye'd morons like Pelosi and the rest in congress, who would rather you just take the money and spend it on more mindless social programs, when we can't pay for the one's that we already have.
How much longer before the entire sham of funding these socialist dreams collapses. How much longer before the American people are brought screaming to the reality that free enterprise and capitalism is what has built and made this country the envy of the world. It certainly hasn't been and it certainly won't be socialism and the taxation of the golden geese until they are all dead and gone.
American society is teetering on the edge of economic collapse and when it does collapse, there will be utter chaos in the streets. As the purposely crafted and purposely maintained underclass of indignant social aphids realizes, that there is no more and there will be no more freebies or handouts. That is when we will truly begin to see and bear the wages of socialist sin in this country.
But in the mean time, everyone continue as you are. Stay blinded to the one presently leading you to the great abyss. Keep believing that there are endless roads of milk and honey and all that we need do is simply corral those evil cash cows and slaughter them at our whim. They will always be there and there will always be excess to trim from the fatted calves. Right?

I really love it when a politician talks about government doing more to "create jobs."
The only possible thing other than cutting taxes that government can do anything to create "jobs" is to hire more government bureaucrats.... and cutting taxes is not what the prez is referring to... (probably) :-)
