WARNING! Fox News could stunt your growth!

Obama: Fox News is 'destructive' to America
President Obama is pulling no punches when it comes to Fox News, declaring the cable news outlet to be "destructive to [America's] long-term growth."

In a more than 8,000-word interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, Obama compared the cable news channel to papers owned by William Randolph Hearst at the turn of the 20th century that unabashedly pushed the media titan's own political views.
"You had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition – it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view," Obama told the magazine.
One of the things that I find intriguing about Barack Obama is his indirect way of being obliquely coy with his prejudices, yet unabashed when it comes to airing them. Everyone in America is aware that Fox news is the bane of this White House. The Obama White House spokesman Robert Gibbs has all but foamed at the mouth on numerous occasions when it came to addressing reports covered by Fox news and the network's reporting on this administration.

So as of this revelation in "Rolling Stone," our dear president has decided to pull no punches when it comes to Fox News. Well isn't that ironic. Seeing as that is precisely what the lion's share of media in this country has done as it concerns this president since day one.

Does anyone outside of this administration actually believe that the mainstream media has done anything other than pitch softballs and pulled punches since this supposed "post racial president" took office?

I can't speak for anyone else, but if you are/were looking for critical reports or critical analysis of this president in the mainstream media? Then you could forget seeing anything in any of the major network news reports, or the New York Times, Washington Post, L.A. Times or Chicago Tribune or anywhere else for that matter.

And the worst of them all are MSNBC and CNN in my observations of the past two years. Drooling is a word that simply wouldn't cover the way the media in America and most of Europe has treated Barack Obama since he became the heir apparent to the White House two and a half years ago. At least until the last few months as it has become more and more apparent that 'America' has had enough of both this White House and the mainstream media.

Someone at the White House and in the democrat party needs to get a clue and come to grips with the reality and the reasons why Fox News has led all other media outlets for the past ten years now.

So now with the democrat party going down by the bow faster than the Titanic, the president has decided to come out swinging at Fox news. And he has decided to launch his opening salvo, by giving an interview to Rolling Stone and call Fox News destructive to America's growth.

Amusing if I say so myself. Just as his attempts at juxtaposing the comparison of William Randolph Hurst newspapers of one hundred years ago, with the modern day media empire of Rupert Murdoch and Fox.

It seems that with all the bad news of late concerning the democrats looming losses, all they can do is lash out at any and all who have failed to bow at their feet and kiss their rings and appreciate their efforts to destroy America.

I am sorry, but as I said previously, this is almost comical. And if there isn't a certain amount of irony? That the man chose Rolling Stone magazine as his vehicle of attack against Fox?  I wonder what former General Stanley McChrystal would think of the president's revelations in the rag sheet that led to his own demise.

Poetic is a word that comes to mind.
