The democrats latest buy off

Obama calling for more infrastructure spending
Vowing to find new ways to stimulate the sputtering economy, President Barack Obama will call for long-term investments in the nation's roads, railways and runways that would cost at least $50 billion.
The infrastructure investments are one part of a package of targeted proposals the White House is expected to announce in hopes of jump-starting the economy ahead of the November election. Obama will outline the infrastructure proposal Monday at a Labor Day event in Milwaukee.
While the proposal calls for investments over six years, the White House said spending would be front-loaded with an initial $50 billion to help create jobs in the near future.
The goals of the infrastructure plan include: rebuilding 150,000 miles of roads; constructing and maintaining 4,000 miles of railways, enough to go coast-to-coast; and rehabilitating or reconstructing 150 miles of airport runways, while also installing a new air navigation system designed to reduce travel times and delays.
Obama will also call for the creation of a permanent infrastructure bank that would focus on funding national and regional infrastructure projects.
Administration officials wouldn't say what the total cost of the infrastructure investments would be, but did say the initial $50 billion represents a significant percentage. Officials said the White House would consider closing a number of special tax breaks for oil and gas companies to pay for the proposal.
Obama made infrastructure investments a central part of the $814 billion stimulus Congress passed last year, but with that spending winding down, the economy's growth has slowed. Officials said this infrastructure package differs from the stimulus because it's aimed at long-term growth, while still focusing on creating jobs in the short-term.

Much like King Belshazzar,  (Obama the great one) has seen the writing on the wall and he is desperately trying to find his own version of a Daniel to give him a way out.

Meanwhile, mainstream democrats are bailing out faster than rats abandoning ship and Madam Pelosi is frantically trying to craft her version of a firewall plan to try and prevent the republicans from absolutely swamping the house come November.

But what are the democrats actually up to. In my observation, its SSDD or (same sh*t different day) business as usual with the socialist progressives that now make up the majority of the democrat party. They are doing what they do best. As a matter of fact? Spending other people's money is about all they know how to do.

When they aren't raising taxes and creating more socialist programs, they are borrowing more money to buy off more dumb as a brick protected class voters who will buy into their crapola.

What is Obama's fifty billion proposal going to do to "create long term jobs?" Answer: "Absolutely nothing."  No more than the home owner's tax credit and the cash for clunkers program did anything to create long term jobs. These were flash in the pan socialist short fixes that accomplished nothing but more debt.

Obama new fifty billion proposal is nothing more than another example of a vote buying gimmick by Obama and the democrats and each time they suceed in launching one, they dig us collectively as a nation, into a deeper grave of recession/depression.

You don't have to be an economist to figure out that when you tax people you create a disincentive for small businesses and companies to expand and hire more workers. To borrow a phrase? It's the economy stupid. And the first thing that must be done  to stop the bleeding is create an atmosphere of confidence in the American economy.

That cannot be accomplished with drilling freezes in the gulf and hollow programs aimed at paving a few roads and runways. There are several million people out of work in this country. People who will never find a job in the current atmosphere of fear that grips most of the nation when it comes to another potential recession.  And these people are for the most part unemployable in jobs aimed at infrastructure and labor. They are professionals with degrees and they and their specialties are no longer wanted or needed.

America needs entrepreneurs and start up jobs in fields that actually make money. As opposed to these dream field hopes of hanging everything on "green technologies." Science fiction doesn't put food on the table or put millions of Americans back to work. Real tangible "profitable" jobs are what does that.

The unions and government over regulation have all but destroyed America manufacturing and agriculture in this country. Ninety percent of what we buy now comes from other countries and that is now becoming the reality for our food.

So hoping for a recovery of these lost professional and tech jobs is pointless. We have to create new jobs and new manufacturing of things that people both want and need. Unions in America are on life support, they just don't know it yet. The country can no longer support union labor as the beast that it has become over the last forty years. And Obama cannot continue to prop them up while buying off their votes.

For Americans to turn the economy around, the first thing that will have to be done is to vote these bastards out of office come November. And then hold those who replace them and remain in Washington, accountable to the people for how the people's money is spent.

The next thing that needs to be done is that these moronic regulations that are killing industry in this country have to be reversed. As long as we allow the federal government to do things like starve the California farm belt of water over bogus environmental concerns, then this economy is only going to get worse and worse. And we as a nation become more and more dependent on others for our very sustenance.

We need a leader in Washington and all we have is a socialist pitch man who's only solutions are to borrow and spend more of our future.

The old adage is quite applicable IMO, "lead, follow or get the hell out of the way." Hopefully come November, Americans will send that message with force to Washington. Hopefully many of these interloping democrat leeches and their RINO buddies will get their walking papers compliments of the midterms.

If not, it's only a matter of time before we reach the America ending crash at the end of this course of socialist heresy.
