Newt gets the nod....

Big news? Not really. Those who have followed this season knew when he bowed out Saturday, that Herman Cain would support Newt Gingrich. Ge had already all but asked him to be his VP, so this should not be a shock for anyone following it.

Herman Cain to Endorse Newt Gingrich Monday
Herman Cain might be out of the running as a Republican presidential candidate, but his voice still carries weight with his many loyal supporters. Since he bowed out of the race Saturday, there has been much speculation on who he would endorse. Sources tell FOX 5 News that Herman Cain plans to endorse fellow Georgian Newt Gingrich on Monday. They say details of a formal announcement are still being

Political Correctness Defined

Political correctness is fostered by the intellectually dysfunctional. It is an ideology promoted by a complicit mainstream media. It is a doctrine which holds forth the proposition that fairness is somehow entirely possible in all things and that the failure of fairness in life can only be corrected by direct government intervention.

The success of political correctness rests squarely on the premise of government forcing the fallacious doctrines of egalitarianism on the people, to create the forced perspective of fairness above all reason. Political correctness exists on the false belief that all things can be made right with the world by simply forcing the perspective via the abuse of government power and government influence over the people's lives.

That is truly the big lie...... That is and was the foundation of national socialism as was witnessed in the 1930's in Nazi Germany. That must never be allowed to stand unchallenged in America, or else one day we will awaken to the sounds of boots and tank treads in our own streets.

Colburn has no love lost on Gingrich

Tell a lie to Congress? No problem, just withdraw it

The fast and furious scandal surrounding the ATF and the US Justice Department is the kind of thing that would completely destroy a republican administration, but not so the democrats and their friends in media.

Justice Withdraws Inaccurate 'Fast And Furious' Letter It Sent To Congress

Under fire for losing track of weapons that turned up at crime scenes along the Southwest border, the Justice Department has taken the extraordinary step of formally withdrawing an inaccurate letter about the episode that it sent to Congress earlier this year.

Deputy Attorney General Jim Cole sent nearly 1,400 pages of emails and other documents to Capitol Hill late Friday afternoon that lay bare the raw and sometimes cringe-worthy process by which the letter was drafted. The materials contain clues into how misleading information about the botched gun trafficking operation made it into a Feb. 4, 2011 letter to Congress that department leaders have since acknowledged was false.

Is it really that simple? And should it be?

The bottom line, the US Justice Department and the Attorney General have lied to congress and to the American people. Not only that, but they have done so in a manner that speaks directly to the arrogance and corruption that is present and caused the violations of the law and to the constitution to begin with.

The Fast and Furious program had one purpose from the onset and that was the hope that it would give the Justice Department the means and ability to attack Americans and the 2nd amendment. Eric Holder was never interested in interdicting illicit weapons going to Mexico, his intent from the beginning was the hope that he could manufacture a case to claim a need for eliminating the 2nd amendment rights of Americans.

And now that his true purpose has been revealed, along with the culpability of the ATF for the death of an American Border Patrol agent, Holder and the Justice Department have repeatedly lied about their intent and their involvement in the ludicrous program. And having been caught in their own lies, they now want a re-do. They now want a do-over. Let us retract those sticky parts where you now know that we lied and simply allow us to obfuscate further on what our real desires and intents were from the beginning.

If the American people allow them to get away with this then they deserve anything that they get in my opinion. "Those who would trade freedom for security deserve neither.' ~Benjamin Franklin~

Romney declines Gingrich offer

And in other news, the sky is blue, water is wet and Generalismo Francisco Franco is still dead.

Romney Declines Lincoln-Douglas Debate Against Gingrich

With the Republican presidential primary appearing to have narrowed into a two-man contest, Human Events and Red State moved quickly to lock down a date for a Lincoln-Douglas-style debate between Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.
The two organizations went so far this past Monday as to firm up the Annenberg Theater at the Newseum in Washington as the venue on Dec. 19 after another debate originally scheduled that day was canceled. For its part, the Newseum was excited to host the pre-primary forum.
There was just one problem. While Gingrich was ready to take his place on the stage, the Romney campaign politely declined in a series of mostly e-mail exchanges.
As Joe Guerriero, publisher of Human Events and Red State, put it to RCP: “Newt was all over it, and the Romney camp basically said no. It wasn’t a harsh no, but it was a no.”
A Gingrich spokesman confirmed to RCP that the candidate was interested and accepted the invitation, but a Romney spokeswoman didn’t return a request for comment.
The Gingrich people didn't seriously believe that Romney would take the bait did they? Nor will Obama if it gets that far.

An Egypt UPDATE

Remember nine or ten months ago when the Egyptian revolution first began with the blessings and encouragement of our dear president Barack Obama? Remember all the commentary that the fall of Hosni Mubarek would lead to the Islamification of Egypt and a ruling class of militants would rise to fill the void and impose Sharia law?

Remember when the warnings of the Muslim brotherhood were put forth and the rebuttals were offered that it could never happen, as the people only wanted democracy?

Well it looks like the people of Egypt are about to get their democracy.

Only the version they are getting is spelled "Sharia" and it will be led by that group who never had a prayer of attaining power, "the Muslim brotherhood."

Islamist parties win the majority
Judges overseeing the vote count in Egypt's parliamentary elections say Islamist parties have won a majority of the contested seats in the first round. The judges spoke on condition of anonymity because official results are expected to be released later Thursday.
They say the Muslim Brotherhood could take 45 percent of the seats up for grabs. The liberal Egyptian bloc coalition and the ultra-fundamentalist Nour party are competing for second place.
Together, Islamist parties are expected to control a majority of parliamentary seats by March. This week's vote was the first of six stages of parliamentary elections that will last until then.
Continued success by Islamists will allow them to give Cairo's government and constitution a decidedly Islamist character. It could also lead Cairo to shift away from the West towards the Iranian axis.
It will also diminish the influence of Cairo’s caretaker junta, which has sought to maintain the Mubarak-era status quo and keep US foreign aid dollars – running into the billions per annum – flowing.
PS. the logo at the top of the page? Crossed swords with a Koran in the center? Nice touch for the Muslim brotherhood as their symbol.

"Someone needs to be held accountable"

"And someone needs to pay" I believe this woman is on to something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but she is certainly right. someone needs to be held accountable and someone needs to pay. i just wonder who that might be. I am sure it will come to me eventually. Just saying.......
