America has lost another great one.

America has lost another great one. Two in less than a week. First it was Andy Griffith and now it is Ernest Borgnine. Well..... at least Ernie lived a long and productive life. He was active right up until the end which is the way we all hope to be when the time comes.

Rest easy Mr. Borgnine, you brought joy to millions with your portrayals and your are and remain a true talent and a credit to your profession. Say hello to Andy when you get there and let him know that we will miss both of you.

Semper Fi old friend....

"Film and television actor Ernest Borgnine, who won an Academy Award for his portrayal of a lovelorn butcher in 1955's "Marty," has died at age 95, his manager said Sunday."
