NASA Astronauts Return From Brilliant Mission!
Nope. Scratch that! Those use to be the headlines. To find news like that today, you have to take the way back machine and go back in time to the 60's. NASA and America no longer are the leaders in space exploration. Hell....we aren't even second or third rate in the field any more. It's the Chinese who are now leading the way.
America's glory days are done for....in the past.....no more. We gave it all away. Well actually, we (Americans) didn't do anything other than make stupid choices. What we did was elect someone to give it away for us. Barack Obama the sitting president of the United States decided that America didn't need a space program any longer, so he did away with it. If Americans need to go to space in the future according to Obama? We can hitch a ride with the Russians.
Take the way back machine to 1968 when man first walked on the moon compliments of America and go back and tell those Americans in that time that all that they fought for and all that they paid for to be able to see Neil Armstrong walk on the moon, was pissed away by this interloping socialist in the present day. Go ahead, tell them America has been relegated to a third rate status fifty years later.... And I dare say no one would believe you.And if they did believe you, they would probably want to take steps to insure that their future and our present came to a very different reality.
America was too mighty and too powerful and too prosperous for today to ever come. Well.....today has arrived and the new leaders of the world in space and on the surface of this planet are the Chinese. The very same people who three generations ago could barely feed their own people. Now they hold our mortgages and dictate policy to America and they shame us. And our president and his rogues gallery think that is just fine with them. It's just the way they planned it. they and their mentors, back in the day.
Back when most Americans were celebrating America's successes both on the ground and in space, Obama's mentors and the radicals he would come to respect were seeing a very different future for America. They are now realizing their dreams.

China’s first female astronaut returns from space
By Benjamin GottliebChina’s taikonauts are finally home.
After nearly two weeks on the job, three Chinese astronauts, including Liu Yang, the country’s first female in space, returned to Earth on Friday, capping off China’s longest and most complex space mission, the Associated Press reported.
The highlight of Shenzhou-9’s mission was the three-person crew’s successful docking with the Tiangong-1 orbiting module, a move the AFP characterized as “essential to the process of building a space station.” Tiangong-1 is the foundation for China’s future space station, slated to be ready by 2020.
“Tiangong is our home in space. It’s warm and cozy,” Liu Yang said, shortly after landing. “We are proud of our motherland.”

Back stabbing the military
One of the little known and lesser recognized aspects of Obama's affordable healthcare scheme. Apparently, this is one of his methods for extending free health care coverage to the thirty million he has targeted as deprived.
Of which at least fifteen million are illegal.
So there you have it folks. The man wants to jack the military health insurance premiums, while at the same time offering government sponsored and paid for benefits to the supposed less fortunate.

The Obama administration on Friday threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill in part because it does not include higher health care fees for members of the military. Obama to Soldiers: Pay Up
Threatens to veto bill unless it hikes health care fees for service members
“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation,” the White House wrote in an official policy statement expressing opposition to the bill, which the House approved in May.
President Obama’s most recent budget proposal includes billions of dollars in higher fees for members of TRICARE, the military health care system, and is part of the administration’s plan to cut nearly $500 billion from the Pentagon’s budget.
Some fear the administration’s proposal is an effort to increase enrollment in the state-run insurance exchanges mandated under the president’s controversial health care law.
The administration urged the House to “reconsider” to fee increase, arguing they are “essential for DOD to successfully address rising personnel costs.”
The House bill has significant bipartisan support, and easily passed by a margin of 299 to 120.
Stolen valor made legal by the supreme court
Over the course of my life I have seen a number of supreme court decisions that I found bothersome. Decisions that I and many others didn't agree with, but few have stung me quite as badly as the two most recent decisions involving first amendment interpretation of free speech by this courts.
Last year, the court had the audacity to extend first amendment protections to the actions of the Westboro Baptist church of Kansas. The leprous purveyors of true hate that participate in the picketing and disrespect of American service members during their funeral services. The court held that it is perfectly acceptable for these individuals to picket their funerals and spew all manner of vile hatred toward their families. A first amendment protected activity according to the supreme court.
I don't think so.
That ruling holds no more acceptable reasoning or basis in common sense or constitutional rights than the court's ruling yesterday approving reprehensible lying as an extension of protected speech. Oliver Wendell Holmes would truly be spinning in his grave, along with countless others who have fought and died for the rights protected by our constitution.
Our constitution certainly doesn't prohibit the most vile thoughts from being considered by an individual, but it certainly should be used to consider whether the use of those thoughts as vile attacks on others or as a means to inflict pain on others is or should be a protected right.
Once again, I don't believe so.
There are many constitutional absolutist who will maintain and contend that actions such as these by Westboro and those who claim to be heroes are protected acts. They are not and they should never be, but the supreme court has allowed them and until the court reverse itself or is forced to reverse itself, these intentional errors will stand and remain the standard. Idiocy continues to breed idiocy.
Welcome to the world of egalitarianism. A place where everything is fair and if it isn't? The government will force the perception of necessity of fairness, in order to create the illusion of fairness. Egalitarianism is a world where there are no individual rights other than fairness. Egalitarianism blurs the lines of falsehood truth and lies to represent the altered reality as some form of supreme fairness. And once again we see egalitarianism as the guiding influence of the supreme court and the laws governing our land.
Court tosses law about false claims on medals
The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down a federal law making it a crime to lie about receiving the Medal of Honor and other prized military awards, with justices branding the false claim "contemptible" but nonetheless protected by the First Amendment.
The court voted 6-3 in favor of Xavier Alvarez, a former local elected official in California who falsely said he was a decorated war veteran and had pleaded guilty to violating the 2006 law, known as the Stolen Valor Act. The law, enacted when the U.S. was at war in Afghanistan and Iraq, was aimed at people making phony claims of heroism in battle.
The ruling, written by Justice Anthony Kennedy, ordered that the conviction be thrown out.
"Though few might find respondent's statements anything but contemptible, his right to make those statements is protected by the Constitution's guarantee of freedom of speech and expression. The Stolen Valor Act infringes upon speech protected by the First Amendment," Kennedy said.
Italy & Spain Blackmail the EU
Call it what you will, but it looks to me like the Italians and the Spanish are hijacking the EU and threatening to destroy it all unless they are given more money. Which means unless the EU is prepared to act as the US Treasury and simply print more fiat money, then the funds must be squeezed from the other EU members. Primarily Germany.
Interesting........

Italy and Spain threaten to block 'everything'
On Thursday night, Italy and Spain plunged an EU summit into disarray by threatening to block “everything” unless Germany and other eurozone countries backed their demands for help.
Mario Monti, the Italian Prime Minister, celebrated the agreement, reached in the early hours of Friday, as a “very important deal for the future of the EU and the eurozone”.
He could not resist reminding Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, that Italy had also won on the football pitch, by defeating Germany two goals to one for a place in the finals of the European Championship.
“It is a double satisfaction for Italy,” he said. The euro spiked against the dollar after news of the deal and Asian stock markets rose sharply, with Japan's Nikkei up 1.4pc and Hong Kong's closing Hang Seng 2.2pc higher. When trading began in Europe, London's FTSE 100 climbed 1.74pc, Germany's DAX added 2.39pc and France's CAC gained 2.86pc. In Spain the IBEX jumped 4.05pc higher and Italy's FTSE MIB is up 3.07pc.

Lying is protected speech according to this court
In yet another example of a supreme court ruling that boggles the mind and defies common reason. the court ruled today that lying is a constitutionally protected act under the first amendment and freedom of speech.
'More specifically, it is alright to lie about military honors, awards and medals. No harm,,,,,no fowl in lying about being a supposed hero.

The high court has in recent years rejected limits on speech. The justices struck down a federal ban on videos showing graphic violence against animals and rejected a state law intended to keep violent video games away from children. The court also turned aside the attempt by the father of a dead Marine to sue fundamentalist church members who staged a mocking protest at his son's funeral. In 1989, the court said the Constitution protects the burning of the American flag.
Justices Samuel Alito, Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas dissented in the Alvarez case.
"These lies have no value in and of themselves, and proscribing them does not chill any valuable speech," Alito said. "By holding that the First Amendment nevertheless shields these lies, the court breaks sharply from a long line of cases recognizing that the right to free speech does not protect false statements that inflict real harm and serve no legitimate interest."

Holder's contempt of congress has not ended.
the US House of Representatives voted unanimously today to hold attorney general Eric Holder in contempt of congress. Following the normal course of such a landmark determination, holder should be arrested and brought before congress to answer to charges and face imprisonment for a short period of time.
Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen. On the contrary, Holder immediately held a news conference where he continued to demonstrate his contempt for congress, by mocking their decision today.
Nothing will come of any of this, as the American media (the press) long ago abdicated their constitutional authority to maintain truth, integrity and honor over our republican system of government. They would rather see it turned into some Fabian socialist landscape, completely unrecognizable to the founding fathers.
The Court Rules Against America (UPDATES)
The shocking part of this ruling is not that the court upheld Obamacare today. The shocking part of this ruling is that Chief Justice Roberts sided with the liberals in a 5-4 decision. The talking heads of media and the spin masters of the liberal democrats will spend the next week writhing in their joyous victory.
Meanwhile, it is you and I who will ultimately pay dearly for this lunacy.
It wasn't the courts four liberal justices joining Roberts in this decision.

We have plenty of authority. Are you saying there is no authority?
Once again, the unmitigated gall of these people is palpable. I have news for this senator. The only group with unlimited authority in this country is "we the people" and I for one will be more than happy to show the man specifically where that power and authority is derived from in the constitution.
The good and welfare clause and several others...
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) said the “good and welfare clause” gives Congress the authority to require individuals to buy health insurance as mandated in the health care bill. However, there is no “good and welfare clause” in the U.S. Constitution.
During an interview Capitol Hill Friday, CNSNews.com asked Rep. Conyers, “The individual mandate in the bill requires individuals to purchase health insurance. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has said that never before in the history of the United States has the federal government required any one to purchase any good or service. What part of the Constitution do you think gives Congress the authority to mandate individuals to purchase health insurance?”
Conyers said: “Under several clauses, the good and welfare clause and a couple others. All the scholars, the constitutional scholars that I know -- I’m chairman of the Judiciary committee, as you know -- they all say that there’s nothing unconstitutional in this bill and if there were, I would have tried to correct it if I thought there were.”
Senate Judiciary Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) could not explain what part of the Constitution grants Congress the power to force every American to buy health insurance – as all of the health care overhaul bills currently do.
Leahy, whose committee is responsible for vetting Supreme Court nominees, was asked by CNSNews.com where in the Constitution Congress is specifically granted the authority to require every American purchase health insurance. Leahy answered by saying that “nobody questions” Congress’ authority for such an action.

Are you serious? Are you Serious?
Yes....we are serious madam witch.. The hubris, the arrogance, the unmitigated gall of those like yourself and your imposter president are disgusting to the majority of Americans. And just as America rid itself of you as speaker, we will rid ourselves of your imposter president come November.
When Asked Where the Constitution Authorizes Congress to Order Americans To Buy Health Insurance, Pelosi Says:
When CNSNews.com asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday where the Constitution authorized Congress to order Americans to buy health insurance--a mandate included in both the House and Senate versions of the health care bill--Pelosi dismissed the question by saying: “Are you serious? Are you serious?”
Pelosi's press secretary later responded to written follow-up questions from CNSNews.com by emailing CNSNews.com a press release on the “Constitutionality of Health Insurance Reform,” that argues that Congress derives the authority to mandate that people purchase health insurance from its constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce.
Never waste a good crisis
This is the mass mailing sent out by the Obama campaign this morning. They can see the writing on the wall, but none the less they want to squeeze every dime out of the dumb masses as possible before their hallmark socialist legislation goes down in flames. And it will go down and they know it will.
If America is to survive the socialist onslaught of Barack Obama and his band of rogues, the first battle line and victory must be drawn by the Supreme Court today. Or else we are literally doomed. Stay tuned.

A palate cleanser
this is one of those that just needs to be seen and appreciated. Make sure and watch the ending.
Have a Cookie
I am not a big fan of cookies or Oreos for that matter. I don't buy them, so this won't be a stretch for me, but the concept that Nabisco has put forth does sicken me; therefore, there are other things that they market that I can easily avoid from this point forward.
Rainbow Cookies
America’s favorite cookie is stirring up more than milk today after Kraft Foods posted a gay pride Oreo on the cookie’s Facebook page.
Oreo posted the photoshopped picture of an Oreo cookie stuffed with rainbow-colored layers of frosting Monday evening with the caption “Proudly support love!”
Over the past 17 hours more than 157,000 people have “liked” the image, 40,000 people have shared it and 20,000 have commented on it.
But while many of the comments were supportive, some Facebook users pledged to boycott the cookie because of the post.
“I’ll never buy Oreo again,” one commenter wrote.
“Disgusted with oreos,” wrote another. “Being gay is an abmonitation in GOd’s eyes i wont be buying them anymore.”
Boehner to proceed with vote.
So...What do you think will be the end result of all of this?
Meanwhile, the American press (media) will support the action as a novel undertaking in America's three tiered system of government.
House will go ahead with contempt vote
Speaker John Boehner (BAY'-nur) says the House will move forward with a contempt of Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder over the botched gun-tracking operation known as Fast and Furious. And according to Wikipedia reference on contempt of congress, this is what could (should) be done to Eric Holder: but don't hold your breath waiting on the sergeant at arms to arrest him. If i know holder and this rogue administration, Holder will surround himself with federal agents and deny access to anyone attempting to arrest him and Barack Obama will support the action.
The Ohio Republican told reporters Wednesday that last-minute talks with the White House about releasing documents had failed to avert the vote. President Barack Obama has asserted executive privilege to keep the documents secret, but Republicans say there's no basis for that. The issue has political implications this election year. The National Rifle Association is keeping score, prompting some Democrats to join Republicans in voting for contempt. Such a citation would not cause the release of more documents on the operation, in which guns were allowed to "walk" from Arizona to Mexico in hopes they could be tracked.
Meanwhile, the American press (media) will support the action as a novel undertaking in America's three tiered system of government.
Inherent contempt
Under this process, the procedure for holding a person in contempt involves only the chamber concerned. Following a contempt citation, the person cited is arrested by the Sergeant-at-Arms for the House or Senate, brought to the floor of the chamber, held to answer charges by the presiding officer, and then subjected to punishment as the chamber may dictate (usually imprisonment for punishment reasons, imprisonment for coercive effect, or release from the contempt citation).
Concerned with the time-consuming nature of a contempt proceeding and the inability to extend punishment further than the session of the Congress concerned (under Supreme Court rulings), Congress created a statutory process in 1857. While Congress retains its "inherent contempt" authority and may exercise it at any time, this inherent contempt process was last used by the Senate in 1934, in a Senate investigation of airlines and the U.S. Postmaster. After a one-week trial on the Senate floor (presided over by the Vice-President of the United States, acting as Senate President), William P. MacCracken, Jr., a lawyer and former Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Aeronautics who had allowed clients to rip up subpoenaed documents, was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days imprisonment.[5]
MacCracken filed a petition of habeas corpus in federal courts to overturn his arrest, but after litigation, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Congress had acted constitutionally, and denied the petition in the case Jurney v. MacCracken.[6][7]
Presidential pardons appear not to apply to a civil contempt procedure such as the above, since it is not an "offense against the United States" or against "the dignity of public authority."[8]
Media Concensus on Obamacare failing court test
The consensus of reasoned media opinions being published concerning the pending supreme court ruling this week on Obamacare, is that the court will strike it down. This piece in the Washington Post indicates Justice Roberts will write the majority opinion and if that is the case, Obamacare will fall.
Personally, I don't see how they can leave any part of it standing. It is clearly unconstitutional and must be set aside by the court. which sets the table for an interesting reaction by the Obama administration. An administration that to date has blatantly and arrogantly ignored the law and the constitution at every opportunity.

The Supreme Court’s unusual moment in the spotlight
By Robert Barnes, Published: June 26
Calculating who will write the final decision of the Supreme Court’s term is a game that usually interests only a small band of lawyers, professors, reporters and politicos who obsess over the justices’ every footnote.
But this year, the likelihood that Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. is preparing the court’s judgment on President Obama’s health-care overhaul is worthy of headlines and a whirl of Internet spin.
Roberts’s questions at oral arguments are being consulted, his decisions in past cases are being reviewed, and the analysis is underway about whether he is preparing a life preserver or a stake for the Affordable Care Act.
The first Monday in October and the last week of June, the bookends for each session, are always moments in the spotlight for the Supreme Court. But this is no ordinary time.

Condi says "No Way"
There are a number of websites carrying the story this morning of Condi Rice addressing the rumors of her as a potential vice presidential candidate with Mitt Romney. Her response is what I would call "Shermanesk"
"If nominated I will not run" etc.
Besides, the democrats would love to re-open their attacks on her heading into November. Barack Obama is flailing and right now the republicans need a unified, concise and intelligent campaign absent any needless opportunities provided to the Obama administration.
If Romney wins If November, he can always bring Condi back as part of the cabinet. That would be a much better fit and a position that she would be comfortable in accepting.
"If nominated I will not run" etc.
Rice says, quote, “I didn’t run for student council president. I don’t see myself in any way in elective office.”I like Condi Rice. I happen to think that she is one of the most intelligent people in America, however, she is not my idea of a VP or a president. Condi Rice is a policy analyst and a professor. Stretch her beyond those two comfort zones and as we saw during her tenure as secretary of state, she begins to stumble. Condi makes a great adviser, but she is not a leader.

The Supreme Court Partially Supports Arizona
The Supreme Court partially supported Arizona today and the Obama administrations responded by stating in essence, "we don't care what the Supreme Court says, we are going to continue to do as we damn well please."
I am sorry folks, but this is just one more example of this administration and this president thumbing his nose at the law and the Supreme Court. When the law or the courts don't please the little emperor, he simply chooses to ignore both and the people's other check and balance "The media" continues to let him get away with it.
If this were a republican administration or the the Nixon era? They would be headed to the white house with torches and pitch forks. America.....you had better wake up and not only remove this interloping Caesar from office, you had better prosecute him.

Homeland Security suspends immigration agreements with Arizona police
The Obama administration said Monday it is suspending existing agreements with Arizona police over enforcement of federal immigration laws, and said it has issued a directive telling federal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Homeland Security Department may get from Arizona police.
Administration officials, speaking on condition they not be named, told reporters they expect to see an increase in the number of calls they get from Arizona police — but that won’t change President Obama’s decision to limit whom the government actually tries to detain and deport.

It doesn't make any difference what you preferences are, sexual or otherwise, if you aren't flaming liberal? then you are to be assailed and attacked and hated on etc. Homosexual republicans? I imagine there are a few. but to equate them to Jewish Nazis? Just goes to show that when the left is out to bash, nothing is sacred or off base for them.

You better fork it over for Obama
These Secret Service party binge hangovers must be a doozy. Now they want people to fork over more than their money to the great Obama. This is literally both amusing and terrifying in my opinion. That this president and his security could be so obsessed with worry over his safety, as to include removing silverware at dinners.
What is next, plastic forks and knives for those $50,000 a plate fundraisers?
What is next, plastic forks and knives for those $50,000 a plate fundraisers?
Forkless Friday at Obama event
One wouldn’t think so, given the hundreds of lunches and dinners he’s attended ranging from state dinners to political fundraisers to run-of-the-mill stops on the rubber-chicken circuit.
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. --Does a fork or dinner knife pose an unacceptable danger to President Barack Obama?
However, at one such lunch Friday afternoon, guests heard an unusual announcement that they needed to hand over their silverware for security reasons.
“It’s very important that you use your utensils as soon as possible,” National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials board member Raquel Regalado told about 1000 delegates at the group’s annual conference.
(Also on POLITICO: Obama blames GOP for playing politics on immigration)
Regalado hurried the diners to finish up their salads and pre-cut chicken breasts, saying that the Secret Service required that there be no knives at the tables and that the forks be rounded up before Obama entered the room.
“As you know, we’re having another speaker and there is some Secret Service involved. So there’s a reason why there’s no knives at your table and the forks will be collected. ... And I’m not joking,” Regalado told the audience in a ballroom at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. “So, like the good Hispanic mother I’m here to tell you to please, eat your lunch.”
A Secret Service spokesman confirmed that the agency made the request, but said such requirements are common at large events where the president speaks at about the same time people are dining.
Egalitarianism, coming to a neighborhood near you.
For those who continue to believe that egalitarianism is just a harmless endeavor to create equality, think again. The disease of egalitarianism is at the heart of the decay and downfall of all western civilizations. It is the tool and the mechanism of our destruction by our own hands.
Rarely do the proponents of egalitarianism expose their true purpose and agenda for the destruction of nations, but in this instance the head of one of their UN migration committees laid it out clearly for those who care to pay attention.
In the minds of these egalitarian socialist, national sovereignty must be destroyed and multiculturalism must replace all semblance of national independence or individualism on any level. Every nation and every person must become part of the primordial soup of egalitarian fairness if their scheme of takeover is to succeed. Read it and be prepared. The flotsam of this egalitarian scum is already awash on our shores and they have established beachheads here long ago for the furtherance of their devilish agenda of conquest.

EU should 'undermine national homogeneity' says UN migration chief
By Brian Wheeler Political reporter, BBC News
The EU should "do its best to undermine" the "homogeneity" of its member states, the UN's special representative for migration has said.Peter Sutherland told peers the future prosperity of many EU states depended on them becoming multicultural.
He also suggested the UK government's immigration policy had no basis in international law.
He was being quizzed by the Lords EU home affairs sub-committee which is investigating global migration.
Mr Sutherland, who is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP, heads the Global Forum on Migration and Development, which brings together representatives of 160 nations to share policy ideas.
He told the House of Lords committee migration was a "crucial dynamic for economic growth" in some EU nations "however difficult it may be to explain this to the citizens of those states".
White House attempts to avoid responsibility for allowing insults to Reagan
You lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas, that is what I was always raised to believe. That and the sage wisdom that you are known by the company you keep. The White House in a feigned attempt at indignation over this incident, has issued a rebuke of the actions of their invited guests, but the fact remains, this president and his administration invited these individuals into the people's house. And as such, they are responsible for the conduct of their invited guests. Obama and his administration are responsible.
This vileness should have never happened, because it should have never been allowed to happen. They allowed these individuals into our house and they allowed them access to conduct themselves in the manner that they did. They allowed these homosexual activists their desires to defame and insult the image of one of our greatest presidents in our history and they were allowed to dance like moronic heathens in front of his portrait while they snapped photos to post to their facebook pages.
No mr. president, your administrations faux rebuking of their actions does not carry weight or any value of sincerity. You allowed these people in our house to do what they did and you are responsible. I sincerely hope that I am among many millions of other Americans who are offended and who will remember.

White House rebukes guests who flipped bird at Reagan portrait
The White House on Friday rebuked two visitors who were photographed last week at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue flipping the middle finger below a portrait of the late President Ronald Reagan.
The guests had been invited to a reception last Friday marking gay pride month. The images of them -- with both middle fingers raised, pointing up toward Reagan -- were first published by Philadelphia Magazine.
The White House did not approve.
"While the White House does not control the conduct of guests at receptions, we certainly expect that all attendees conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Most all do," Shin Inouye, a White House spokesman, said. "These individuals clearly did not. Behavior like this doesn’t belong anywhere, least of all in the White House."
Photographer Zoe Strauss and Matty Hart, national director for public engagement at the group Solutions for Progress, had posted the images of themselves to Facebook.
Hart, under his, wrote simply: "F--- Reagan."
He later posted a link on his Facebook page to the Philadelphia Magazine piece about their gesture.
Neither Strauss nor Hart have responded to FoxNews.com for comment.
Hart, though, defended his gesture in the Philadelphia Magazine article. "Ronald Reagan has blood on his hands," he said. "The man was in the White House as AIDS exploded."
A tragedy comes to a close
The trial of Jerry Sandusky comes to a close, but the tragedy of his victims never ends. Not as long as his victims are alive and breathing will this tragic saga end. Not while they are capable of remembering what this monster did to them. There are few crimes that on the surface should warrant the death penalty upon a finding of guilt, but in my opinion, pedophilia is at the top of the list.
There are those that will claim pedophilia is a sickness, a mental illness a disease. Rabies is a mental illness and a disease by definition also. A sickness and a disease of the highest order and in my opinion there is little difference between the diseased mind of a pedophile and that of a rabid animal and as such, they should share the same fate. They should be removed from society permanently, to insure that they cannot further contaminate and infect the healthy.
There were a lot of victims in this tragedy and sadly, there were those who could have prevented the ongoing victimization of these boys. The coaching assistant who first observed the raping of a boy in the showers at Penn State years ago, was as culpable of the ongoing crimes as Sandusky was in my opinion. What sort of a man encounters something like that then flees the area and claims that he had to go get his thoughts together?
I know what I would have done and I know what my son would have done had he witnessed something like that. This case would have come to the surface right then and there and Sandusky would have been tried for his crimes just as soon as he was medically able.
Those in the food chain after this coaching assistant reported the crimes to Joe Paterno should also share guilt, responsibility and criminal culpability for the ongoing crimes that Jerry Sandusky was allowed to continue to commit due to their cowardice and failure to act responsibly.
No.....this tragedy it is not over, it is simply a closed chapter in a never ending book of shame and pain that these young men must carry with them for the rest of their lives. As for those who lined the streets to see Sandusky led away to prison? As to those who shouted "rot in hell?" I believe that his eternal fate is best left to a higher power and it has probably already been arranged.
Jerry Sandusky Guilty On 45 Counts
Jerry Sandusky showed little emotion as the jury in child sex abuse trial read the verdict finding him “guilty” on 45 counts and “not guilty” on three. The judge immediately revoked his bail and he was handcuffed and sent to the Center County Correctional Facility.
“The Sandusky family is very disappointed obviously by the verdict of the jury but we respect their verdict, said defense attorney Joe Amendola. “We have some appeal issues, we’ll pursue.”

Getting Married Soon? Share your wealth!
Looking for that special wedding gift for that special couple this year? How about a contribution to the Obama re-election campaign! What a way to celebrate your union! I imagine there will be thousands of donations that will come pouring in from those same sex marriages this year.
The epitome of arrogance revisited....The one thing you can count on with this president, he is constantly reestablishing the precedent for arrogance.

Obama's invited guests disrespect the people's house
Following up on his administration eliminating the military policy of don't ask don't tell, their abandonment of the defense of marriage act and Obama's outspoken support for homosexual marriage, the president decided to invite a few of his homosexual friends to the white house.
This is what they did.
How about this for consideration? These people are not gay. They are 'homosexuals.' They have co-opted and corrupted the language to suit their sexual deviance and it is time that the majority stood together to recognize what has been done to their language, their community values and their country.
I say that it is time that the majority of God fearing and patriotic Americans, those who are proud of their country, stand up as one and give these interlopers the middle finger themselves. It is time that descent people stood up to minority deviance and the forced perspectives of egalitarian humanism and said that enough is enough. .
This is what they did.
Activists Take Out Frustration on ... Ronald Reagan
Last Friday, an attaché of important gay people from Philadelphia made a trip to Washington D.C. as invited guests of President Barack Obama for the White House’s first-ever gay pride reception. There, they danced to the sounds of a Marine Corps band; they dined on crab cakes and canapés; they hand-delivered letters from concerned citizens like this 18-year old who has had four people close to him gunned down, and noted rhyming raconteur CA Conrad; and some of them took advantage of photo opportunities to give the late President Ronald Reagan the middle finger.
I say? It's long past time for Americans to stand up and take back their country and their house from these interloping anti Americans and their homosexual lobbies and supporters. These individuals who stand and demand respect, yet at every opportunity, they debase and disrespect every aspect of this country, its heritage and its greatest leaders.“It’s not a gesture that I would use in the White House when representing our city and our community,” opines Philadelphia Gay News publisher Mark Segal (center), who opted for a sarcastic thumbs-up pose in front of the portrait of George W. Bush over the more vulgar one demonstrated by his Reagan-loathing peers, Matthew “Matty” Hart (left), the national director of public engagement at Solutions for Progress, and self-taught photographer turned toast-of-the-town Zoe Strauss (right).
“I have friends who work in that building,” Segal explains. “I’m not going to do something that could embarrass them or that could somehow damage a campaign that is so important. ‘Be on your best behavior,’ my staff told me.’ I think they know me too well.”
How about this for consideration? These people are not gay. They are 'homosexuals.' They have co-opted and corrupted the language to suit their sexual deviance and it is time that the majority stood together to recognize what has been done to their language, their community values and their country.

Skip 2,000 Marker in Afghanistan
So basically, it was an unspeakable tragedy when Bush was in office, but now there are other more important things than to recognize the loss of two thousand Americans in Afghanistan. Never mind that the casualty counts went up four fold in Afghanistan once Obama was president. There is no justice for those who have been lost. Their sacrifice remains poignant and cherished by those other Americans who loved and respected them. Those who realize that people's lives should never be politicized. Not by either party.
May they rest in peace and may those still mired in war there come home soon in one piece.
May they rest in peace and may those still mired in war there come home soon in one piece.
On June 13, the CBS Evening News devoted a story by David Martin to the Afghanistan death count reaching 2,000, as Martin interviewed a mother of a fallen Marine. CBS was alone. There was no story last week on the Afghanistan death “milestone” on ABC, NBC, the PBS NewsHour – or even on the MSNBC programs found in Nexis, including Rachel “Our Military’s In a Perilous Drift” Maddow.
But the networks were all more aggressive when the 2,000 mark arrived in Iraq on October 25, 2005. The Big Three networks devoted 14 morning and evening news stories to the death toll from October 24 through the end of October, and another 24 anchor briefs or mentions. They used the number to spell “disaster for this White House.”
CBS offered five reports and ten additional briefs or mentions of the 2,000 figure. David Martin filed a sad story on the 2,000 mark in both wars, the only sign of consistency among the networks. (The 2012 Martin report aired in the last five minutes of the program and never included the word "Obama.") As Brent Baker reported in 2005:
An overwhelming 79 percent of Iraqis, who risked their lives just over a week ago to cast their ballot, voted in favor of the nation's new constitution, but you'd have missed it if you sneezed during Tuesday's CBS Evening News or ABC's World News Tonight.CBS anchor Bob Schieffer delivered only this single sentence -- "Iraq's government announced today that voters did approve the country's new constitution in this month's referendum" -- before moving on to a full story about the 2,000th death of U.S. servicemen in Iraq, a piece he could not resist introducing without adding this snide aside: "More than 90 percent of the 2,000 who died in the war have died since the President declared major combat was at an end in May 2003."Days later, in a special report on Samuel Alito’s nomination to the Supreme Court, CBS reporter Bill Plante exemplified the hell-for-Bush tone that was standard operating procedure:
They've been working on this, trying to figure out how to get past the events of the last couple of months which have been really a disaster for this White House. The Hurricane Katrina failure, the failure of the Miers nomination, the landmark of the 2,000th US casualty in Iraq. All of these things have taken a toll, weighted this place down. There's a sense that nothing is happening, that the president is going nowhere.ABC offered nothing to darken Obama’s day, but reported five stories and eight other briefs or mentions on the 2,000 count in Iraq. That’s not counting an entire edition of Nightline on October 25, 2005. Good Morning America anchor Diane Sawyer began on October 26: “This morning, a somber milestone. Another American dies in the war in Iraq. We have now lost 2,000 sons and daughters.”
Ted Koppel blasted Bush in this October 27 Nightline summation:
If you're inclined to get all the bad news in your life out of the way at the same time, consider this week in the life of President Bush. His brother, Jeb, the governor of Florida, had to concede the state government didn't do all it could have or should have done to prepare for Hurricane Wilma. That can only remind people that this has been a bad hurricane season all-around, when it comes to government response. This was the week, of course, that the death toll of American servicemen and women in Iraq topped 2,000. Statistical markers like that are never a fair way of judging the legitimacy of a war but they seem to have an impact, nevertheless. They have an impact – unless you just skip them completely when the Democrats are in the White House.

Rubio is officially running for VP
Firstly, understand one thing. Eric Holder isn't going to resign and he and Obama aren't going to release the smoking guns of evidence that will prove that they acted criminally to attempt an illegal ruse and coup d'état against Americans and their second amendment rights. That is simply not going to happen.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio told The Daily Caller on Thursday that it’s time for Attorney General Eric Holder to resign over the Fast and Furious scandal.
During a breakfast for reporters organized by The Christian Science Monitor on Thursday, Rubio responded “yes” when asked if he agrees with presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and the five other U.S. Senators who have called for Holder’s resignation.
“I think we’re at the point of no return,” Rubio said.
A House committee voted on Wednesday to hold Holder in contempt for not turning over documents related to the program after the White House exerted executive privilege.
Commerce Secretary John Bryson Resigns
Anyone else feel the bump as Bryson was thrown under the bus by the Obama administration. From James Carney on down, it was immediately evident two weeks ago that Bryson's comet was falling out of orbit and favor with the Obama administration. It was only a matter of time. Watch for a splib of news somewhere down the road in the weeks to come, reflecting that Bryson was under the influence of prescription drugs or alcohol or both during his accidents.
If not? and they kicked Bryson to the curb because he has a valid health related issue? Well then that just speaks directly to who these people really are IMO.

U.S. Commerce Secretary John Bryson resigned, less than two weeks after he was treated for a seizure following a series of minor traffic accidents.
Bryson, 68, who has been in office since October, was found unconscious in his Lexus June 9, after the second of two collisions, police said. He had a seizure, according to his office. He took medical leave June 11.
In a letter to the agency today, he said he was resigning to prevent his situation from becoming a distraction to the agency.
The Commerce secretary, whose agency has 47,000 employees and a $7.5 illion budget, drove his car into the rear of stopped vehicle and five minutes later struck another car two miles away. Police had been investigating possible felony hit-and-run charges.
The witch hunt continues
When a police officer takes his/her oath of office, they swear to uphold and enforce the laws of the state and the US Constitution, equally, fairly and impartially. That means that they swear to enforce the law against violators when warranted and when the evidence supports the arrest of the individual. That does not mean that they utilize their powers of arrest for political or personal reasons, or to satisfy the whims of the angry crowd or the desires of lynch mobs.
The chief of Police and his officers and investigators in Sanford Florida did the right thing by not arresting George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin case. The evidence didn't support his arrest and prosecution then and it doesn't now. The fact that the state of Florida bowed to racial pressure and sent in a special prosecutor to arrest and prosecute Zimmerman does not change the evidence or the facts. When one of the most prominent liberal lawyers in America speaks out and tells the American people that they have no case, then people ought to listen. But no one paid any attention to Allan Dersovitz when he critiqued and criticized the obvious lack of evidence and the malicious prosecution of George Zimmerman by the state of Florida.
In the end, George Zimmerman will be acquitted of the charges against him and there will be more protests and more screams of racial injustice. In the end, once again the federal government will step in and in violation of the constitutional protections prohibiting double jeopardy, they will charge George Zimmerman with violation of the rights of Trayvon Martin (ala "Rodney King)
The Justice department will then transport George Zimmerman to another jurisdiction where they can prosecute and obtain their bogus conviction and send George Zimmerman to prison. And once again the world of black on white racism and mob rule injustice will be settled and the beast of race baited justice will be satiated.

Police chief fired for upholding his oath of office
The Sanford police chief who failed to arrest George Zimmerman immediately after the fatal shooting of Miami-Dade teen Trayvon Martin four months ago — and brought national attention and derision to the Central Florida city — has been terminated.
The announcement was made late Wednesday night by Sanford City Manager Norton Bonaparte, who said in a news release that Police Chief Bill Lee “has been relieved of his duties” effective immediately. The chief had been on paid leave.
Bonaparte implied the firing stemmed from the impact of Lee’s handling of the Trayvon Martin on the city of Sanford.
“I have come to this decision in light of the escalating divisiveness that has taken hold of the city,” the manager said in the statement. The decision was made after a meeting earlier in the day.
The shooting of the 17-year-old that has sparked national outrage also has painted Sanford in an unfavorable light across the country. Read more here:

Pelosi should be drug tested
I am serious, someone needs to make this crazy witch piss in a bottle and be drug screened. What color is the sky in her world? "We need to pass it so that we can see what's in it?" Anyone remember that pearl?
And now this: "I could have arrested Karl Rove on any day?" Really?
Someone needs to arrest her crazy ass.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi attacked House Republicans for pursuing contempt of Congress charges against Attorney General Eric Holder on Wednesday.
“I could have arrested Karl Rove on any given day,” Pelosi said on Wednesday, The Huffington Post reports. “I’m not kidding. There’s a prison here in the Capitol. If we had spotted him in the Capitol, we could have arrested him.”
“Oh, any number” of charges could have been brought against Rove, Pelosi said. “But there were some specific ones for his being in contempt of Congress.”
Pelosi also criticized Republicans pushing for justice for Border Patrol agent Brian Terry — as House oversight committee ranking Democratic member Rep. Elijah Cummings has on numerous occasions — as “just strictly political.”
“It’s just the irresponsibility of the Republicans,” Pelosi said. “We want jobs. Why are they spending this time doing this?”

Obama lectured by Putin
An interesting meeting. Putin came in and immediately asserted himself to Obama who he sees as week and no on the same level as he is. This was foreseeable in my opinion. the Russians no longer either fear or respect America. They know that we are weak and that our so called president can be 'managed' to bend to their will and desires.
They have already demonstrated that power with him over the last three years. Putin will only continue to press the advantage from here on in. Meanwhile, Obama is on to his 100th round of gold while his fiddle is being tuned back in Washington.

'The Two Men Barely Looked at Each Other'
8:12 AM, Jun 19, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER
CBS reports that when Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin met with the press after their long private discussion, "The two men barely looked at each other. You could just feel, sort of, the tension between them. And the body language really represented how far apart the two leaders remain on the issue of Syria."
"It is clear that President Obama did not get an agreement from Russian president Putin [on Syria]," CBS reports.
"And interestingly," CBS adds, "Apparently President Obama got a bit of a lecture from Putin about some other failed transitions that are going on around the world."

Obama makes him look like an idiot.
The village idiot has spoken once again. According to Joe Biden, his boss makes him look dumb as a bucket. Which obviously isn't that hard for just about anyone to do. Maybe that is why Obama picked him for VP. Joe makes anybody look good.

Rickles not so funny now....
Don Rickles got his walking papers from an unhappy gathering of celebrities when Rickels insulted the great one during an American Film Institute tribute last week. And as far as Hollywood is concerned, Rickles remarks never happened. They powers that be will simply cut the offending commentary and the majority of Americans will never know that it happened when the program does air on the 24th.
Meanwhile, Don Rickles may not know it yet, but he just announced his own retirement date from any future public appearances. Hollywood won't publish that either, but make no mistake, the man is now black listed by the leftist elite of Hollywood and media for his transgressions against Obama.
I guess I can still say black listed, or is that an offense too. Probably soon.

UPDATED: The comic's material will be edited out of the scheduled broadcast on June 24.
Viewers of TV Land will not be able to watch insult comic Don Rickles compare President Barack Obama to a janitor at the recent American Film Institute tribute to Shirley MacLaine
when the network broadcasts its shortened version of the evening’s
festivities at 9PM ET/PT on June 24. “It’s not going to make it on the
air —that’s all I’ll say about it,” says a spokesperson for the cable
channel, which presented Rickles with its Legend Award in 2009.
TV Land’s edited AFI program will run 90 minutes. The black-tie evening, which lasted four hours, took place at Sony Pictures Studios on June 7. Rickles’ material also included jabs at Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty and MacLaine, although none went viral like the 86-year-old’s comment about the current commander in chief. “President Obama is a personal friend of mine,” said Rickles. “He was over to the house yesterday, but the mop broke.”

NYC in desperate need of mental health regulations
These loons in New York are in need of their own mental health evaluations if you ask me. These people are taking the process of the egalitarian thought police to an entirely new level. They not only want to dictate what people can think, but now they want to mandate what can and cannot be consumed by individuals as food in their great empire city. I am wondering if they will look inot to sale of 'bush meat' and other ethnic and religious foods amongst their minority populations. Or is this a movement aimed solely at the mainstream population.
Personally, I am thinking that it may be time to wall off this center of lunacy. Build a wall completely around New York city and don't let anyone in or out. It is obvious to me that their is a rather serious contagion afoot and on the loose in the streets of New York and it isn't obesity. The contagion is egalitarian humanism and it is deadly.

NYC now discussing bans on milk and popcorn
The board hand-picked by Mayor Michael Bloomberg that must approve his ban of selling large sugar-filled drinks at restaurants might be looking at other targets.
The New York City Board of Health showed support for limiting sizes of sugary drinks at a Tuesday meeting in Queens. They agreed to start the process to formalize the large-drink ban by agreeing to start a six-week public comment period.
At the meeting, some of the members of board said they should be considering other limits on high-calorie foods. One member, Bruce Vladeck, thinks limiting the sizes for movie theater popcorn should be considered.
"The popcorn isn't a whole lot better than the soda," Vladeck said.
Another board member thinks milk drinks should fall under the size limits.
"There are certainly milkshakes and milk-coffee beverages that have monstrous amounts of calories," said board member Dr. Joel Forman.
Mayor Bloomberg says the drink rules are an attempt to fight obesity in the city. It would limit food service establishments in the city from serving drinks bigger than 16 ounces but would allow refills.

WASHINGTON — With evidence that powerful new weapons are flowing to both the Syrian government and opposition fighters, the bloody uprising in Syria has thrust the Obama administration into an increasingly difficult position as the conflict shows signs of mutating into a full-fledged civil war.
Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said on Tuesday that the United States believed that Russia was shipping attack helicopters to Syria that President Bashar al-Assad could use to escalate his government’s deadly crackdown on civilians and the militias battling his rule. Her comments reflected rising frustration with Russia, which has continued to supply weapons to its major Middle Eastern ally despite an international outcry over the government’s brutal crackdown.

According to SPike Lee
Spike says, he is worried about Obama's re-election, cause it ain't just the racists who are unhappy. Thank you mr. Lee. I love your way with words.
Spike Lee: Obama win not a sure thing
Spike Lee is predicting a tough road to reelection for President Obama.
“This thing is not a lock,” the filmmaker told GQ in a recent interview. “It is not a lock that President Obama is getting a second term and people have to really rekindle the enthusiasm that we had the first time.”
Lee, who hosted a fundraiser for the president in January, said that he “just had a meeting with somebody high up in the Obama campaign” to discuss the race.

“I can't say to all the people that are unhappy with him that they're racist people,” Lee said of Obama’s critics. “People ain't got jobs, people are hurting. So I don't care what color you are, if people are out of work, it's tough. And then when you're the first African American president, that's not helping either.”
Still, Lee doesn’t sound too worried about Obama’s Republican rival, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
“Once we get to the debates my man is going to tear him up!” he said. “It's going to be obvious who should lead this country for the next four years once they go head to head, toe to toe, elbow to elbow, butt to butt. And I don't think Mr. Romney can hang with him.”
Trouble for the white house
An enlightening article on the president's continuing mistakes, mishaps and missteps and how the white house press secretary attempts to dance on the head of a pin to deflect inquiries.
From the Washington Post no less.
From the Washington Post no less.
Job growth has stalled, the Democrats have been humiliated in Wisconsin, the attorney general is facing a contempt-of-Congress citation, talks with Pakistan have broken down, Bill Clinton is contradicting Obama, Mitt Romney is outraising him, Democrats and Republicans alike are complaining about a “cascade” of national-security leaks from his administration, and he is now on record as saying that the “private sector is doing fine.”
Could it get any worse?
Early Monday morning, Obama learned that it could. His aides delivered the news to him that his commerce secretary had been cited for a felony hit-and-run after allegedly crashing his car three times over the weekend. In one incident, the previously obscure Cabinet officer apparently rear-ended a Buick, spoke to the car’s occupants, then hit the vehicle again as he left.

Obama;s latest report card.
Remember, this is 'government data' and not any partisan group attempting to skew the numbers. Barack Obama has had three and a half years to impact the economy and turn around the slide into oblivion and all that i have seen done is that he has greased the rails.
No attempts made to stem the tide, only hand outs and buy outs and more of the same socialist 'hocus pokus' and now we are in dire straights. Will the American people finally realize what is happening and kick this interloper to the curb come November? We can only hope and wait.
The Fed’s data underscore the depth of the wounds of the Great Recession and how far many families remain from healing. The median value of Americans’ debt did not change between 2007 and 2010. Meanwhile, the housing market crash inflicted particularly severe damage, with the Fed showing that the median value of Americans’ equity in their homes plunged 42.3 percent between 2007 and 2010.
The survey is conducted every three years, and this report offers one of the most exhaustive looks to date at the greatest economic upheaval in a generation. Although there have been some signs that the recovery has picked up steam — housing prices have begun to stabilize and unemployment has fallen — Fed economists said those improvements largely do not change the survey results.
“Recovery from the so-called Great Recession has also been particularly slow,” the Fed said in its report.
Americans’ wealth dropped 40 percent
The net worth of the American family has fallen to its lowest level in two decades, according to government data released Monday, driven by a more than 40 percent drop in their stakes in their homes.
The Federal Reserve’s detailed survey of consumer finances showed families’ median wealth plunged from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010 — a 39 percent decline. That put them on par with median wealth in 1992.The Fed’s data underscore the depth of the wounds of the Great Recession and how far many families remain from healing. Being too cool can be 'racially charged'
You learn something everyday it seems. It now appears that being too cool can be seen as a code word for racial overtones between those horrid conservatives and Tea Party republicans and replulicans et al.
Really? Is there noting that is beyond the reproach of the CBC and other racially motivated water carriers for this president? Four years ago there was absolutely nothing that could be said or done to inquire about the man's history, his background or his lack of qualifications and lack of record.
And now that he has a record of almost four years of failure, some are beginning to go back and have a look at some of the past. And predictably so, the CBC and others immediately cry fowl and racism.

CBC staff: Opposition to Obama is racist
Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued that President Obama has struggled during his first term due to racially-motivated opposition from conservatives who dislike having a black president.
"This is probably the toughest presidential term in my lifetime," Rye said during CSPAN's Q&A yesterday. "I think that a lot of what the president has experienced is because he's black. You know, whether it's questioning his intellect or whether or not he's Ivy League. It's always either he's not educated enough or he's too educated; or he's too black or he's not black enough; he's too Christian or not Christian enough. There are all these things where he has to walk this very fine line to even be successful."
She said that "a lot" of conservative opposition is racially-charged, citing the use of the word "cool" in an attack ad launched by Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS superPAC.
"There's an ad, talking about [how] the president is too cool, [asking] is he too cool? And there's this music that reminds me of, you know, some of the blaxploitation films from the 70s playing in the background, him with his sunglasses," Rye said. "And to me it was just very racially-charged. They weren't asking if Bush was too cool, but, yet, people say that that's the number one person they'd love to have a beer with. So, if that's not cool I dont know what is.
