Georgia Law Enforcement Memorial Ride April 24 2010

This was the memorial ride this morning, leaving Turner Field in Atlanta, headed to Fayetteville Georgia. With severe thunder storms on the schedule both before and after the start, there were still several hundred riders who turned out.

Pretty darned impressive!

I've been invited by our county sheriff to say an opening and closing prayer at our counties law enforcement memorial on May 10th. I'll be in full class A uniform as I serve as the chaplain for the enforcement side of our sheriff's department as I am also a reserve deputy.

It is an honor.

It was impressive but nothing like last year. The storms really knocked down the participation this year.

Good for you Chuck, post a little something of yours when you can.

If all goes well, I plan to have a bike and ride in next years event.
