The Brits are getting upset....should they be?

Boris Johnson tells Barack Obama: Stop bashing Britain

Senior Tories today warned Barack Obama to back off as billions of pounds were wiped off BP shares in the row over the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Mayor Boris Johnson demanded an end to “anti-British rhetoric, buck-passing and name-calling” after days of scathing criticism directed at BP by the President and other US politicians.

Former Conservative Party chairman Lord Tebbit branded Mr Obama's conduct “despicable”. And with the dispute threatening to escalate into a diplomatic row, Mr Johnson also appeared to suggest that David Cameron should step in to defend BP.

He spoke as the US onslaught against the firm became a “matter of national concern” — especially given its importance to British pensions, which lost much of their value today as BP shares plunged to a 13-year low.

This week's headlines are signaling an increasing rift between the US and the UK over the ongoing disaster in the gulf from the BP oil spill. It seems that our cultures clash once again and our shared language again becomes an instrument of separation and disparity.

The Brits don't look at things the same way we do here in America. Their socialist mentors have long since become the tail that wags the dog of parliament there, but their ecologist and green weenies have never commanded the political clout of their cousins here in America. Therefore, they don't understand the American reaction to so called 'ecological disaster.'

And the differences and disparities of perspective are becoming clearer by the day.

The UK pensioner system (their version of SSI) was already in dire straights due to the recession and the global banking disaster begun here in America. But now this. Now we have the American president (who they once applauded and clamoured for and welcomed to their socialist bosoms as the conquering Caesar) has now turned and kicked them quite forcefully in the nads. And that just isn't cricket!

Now the Mayor of London among others is squaring off to tell forcefully, this impudent ass kicker of an American president, to lay off of the British ass. And there will be more pleas and ultimately their new PM Cameron will be routed to come to the aid and defense of BP.

Meanwhile their are globalist and global economists who are already writing the obituary of BP, openly atating that the company has maybe a month left at this rate, with the hounds and jackals closing in and the great beast that once was, bleeding oil all over the gulf and their balance sheet bleeding billions every day on the world stock exchanges.

And what of all those pensioners in the UK who stand to go tits up once BP fails and declares bankruptcy. I imagine their pension shares will be devastated and roughly one fifth of the country's pensioners will become destitute.

I wonder what our friends in Britain will think of the great man then? America's man of change, the first black president and the one thought to bring balance and justice back to 'the Matrix.'

I am sorry folks, but I never saw Obama as Neo, bending wildly while dodging bullets and walking on water. Nope, I don't know which color pill he took, or for that matter the color of the sky in the world of the millions that voted for him, but Barack Obama ain't "the one" that everyone was advertising him as. And it shows.

Of course many of us here in America have known that from the beginning. It's just interesting now to see our British cousins coming to grips with the reality.

The Muslim world started figuring it out about a year ago... as you well know.

The gays are figuring it out.

The Blacks are figuring it out.

The Latinos are figuring it out.

The military is figuring it out.

The MSM is figuring it out.

About the only ones not figuring it out is white liberals... and there are cracks in that ceiling... and come November I suspect that that ceiling is going to come crashing down.

About the only place left will be our university classrooms.

Those college educated feel good illiterate myrmidons are the ones that brought this upon us. They are and will figure it out and be opposed to him from here on out, but the damage will have been done.

On average, it takes 15-20 years to correct the damage of one democrat term.

The real loons on the left, those in universities teaching this holistic socialist crap will never get it. Until they are marched into the courtyards and shot by those that they thought would bring peace and Nirvana to their surrealistic dope fed drama existence.
