Christiane Amanpour feels the love

Looks like Christiane got her comeuppance very quickly from the locals. Seems they aren't impressed with her middle eastern credentials or the fact that she is a representative of American media.

As a matter of fact, her association with American media came close to being her undoing with this crowd.

I can only imagine how these "American correspondents" like Amanpour and Andersen Cooper of CNN are dealing with the reality that they are not being seen as anything other than unwanted Americans in Egypt.

This is what they and their liberal media organizations have fostered globally for a generation now. What should they have expected.

I can't stand either one of them and don't think they represent the majority of America like they think they do.

Amanpour was born in Iran and her parents benefited from their associations with the Shah before he was overthrown and they decided to permanently live in London.

Her cattiness through the years when sarcastically commenting concerning middle eastern American affairs (as a correspondent for CNN) soured with me years ago.

Looks like she is hooked up with ABC for now.
