America Disarmed

Americans clinging to their guns and their bibles? Not as long as this regime has anything to do with it.

Barack Obama made it perfectly clear how he felt about Americans and their guns and bibles when he was running for election. Now that he holds the office, look around at how he is proceeding to control firearms and their use at the federal level in his ridiculous policies.

Three most recent examples that have appeared in the news this week alone.

Obama: No Arming of U.S. Agents in Mexico

President Obama on Thursday appeared to reject the idea of arming U.S. agents in Mexico, saying after a meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon that the two governments will look at other ways to protect American officials in the wake of a fatal shooting last month.

"There are laws in place in Mexico that say that our agents should not be armed," Obama said, describing the U.S. role south of the border as an "advisory" one. "We do not carry out law enforcement activities inside of Mexico."

The president's statement answers speculation about how far the administration would go in reforming safety measures in response to the killing three weeks ago of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico. The shooting death raised questions in the U.S. about Mexico's ability to control violence but U.S. officials earlier wouldn't say whether Obama would press the Mexican leader to allow U.S. agents to be armed.

Records show agents fired beanbags in fatal border gunfight

Border Patrol agents shot beanbags at a group of suspected bandits before the men returned fire during a confrontation in a remote canyon, killing agent Brian Terry with a single gunshot, records show.

And an illegal immigrant wounded in the gunbattle who is now the only person in custody linked to the slaying contends he never fired a shot, according to FBI search warrant requests filed in the U.S. District Court in Tucson.

The documents provide the most detailed version yet of what happened in the deadly gunbattle Dec. 14 in Peck Canyon, northwest of Nogales.

The documents say the group of illegal border entrants refused commands to drop their weapons after agents confronted them at about 11:15 p.m. Two agents fired beanbags at the migrants, who responded with gunfire. Two agents returned fire, one with a long gun and one with a pistol, but Terry was mortally wounded in the gunfight.

And last but not least, there is this....

Letting Guns Walk

Federal agent John Dodson says what he was asked to do was beyond belief.

He was intentionally letting guns go to Mexico?

"Yes ma'am," Dodson told CBS News. "The agency was."

An Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms senior agent assigned to the Phoenix office in 2010, Dodson's job is to stop gun trafficking across the border. Instead, he says he was ordered to sit by and watch it happen.

Investigators call the tactic letting guns "walk." In this case, walking into the hands of criminals who would use them in Mexico and the United States.

This is the level of idiocy that this administration is currently pursuing on our borders. How long before the Mexican drug cartel violence spills over onto our shores. Here is a hint, it already has and it will continue to get worse. So once the headlines begin to blare, just think back and remember who is responsible.

Don't fall victim to the propaganda that it's the guns and that we must pass stronger gun control legislation to stop the flow of illicit guns to Mexico. We already know how that is working don't we.
