"It's readily apparent there will still be controversy over what he really said."

So says the venerable CNN reporter who first branded Zimmerman a racist with his first unwashed and barely enhanced version of the 911 tape. i guess CNN got cold feet after they saw how ABC got caught doctoring their story to imply racism. So now they have gone back and cleaned up their act a a bit, but they still aren't coming out and saying the obvious about what is clearly heard on the tape now.

Is it coon? I don't believe so. Pretty obvious to me, the man said "fu^king cold!" Of course we wouldn't want to prejudice the public's perceptions. Much better to allow them to hear the bell rung and then acknowledge that once rung, a bell cannot be un-rung.

So a man as yet proven guilty of anything, remains condemned in the court of public opinion and his accusers simply can't find the words to admit that they attempted to force a perspective and now they know that they were wrong.
