Obama's new meme: "not working is a luxury"

Based upon that analogy? There must be a whole helluva lat of people in this country living in the lap of luxury right now. With all those millions out of work and not working? Maybe that is where Obama needs to target his taxation plans.

Back to the point at hand, obviously the DNC advisory Hillary Rosen's statement attacking Ann Romney yesterday for never having worked is the new leftist meme that the Obama administration wants to see decimated. The president himself has now joined in with this latest attack meme and is attacking the Romney's as if Ann Romney was only able to stay at home and raise children, because she obviously comes from the lap of luxury and they could afford it. Meanwhile, the poor pitiful Obama's could afford no such luxuries, as Michelle had to take a job making $310.000 a year just to support them.

Class warfare part deux for the Obama's

Not surprising really. The Fabian socialists have absolutely no problem with the MArie Antoinette philosophy of pot, kettle black. For them? Their pots are never black like everyone else. They remain aloof from the common man, while at the same time trying to portray themselves as somehow different from those that they seek to demonize.

Obama on Why Michelle Was a Working Mom (at $316K Per Year): ‘We Didn't Have the Luxury for Her Not to Work’

Speaking Friday at what the administration called “The White House Forum on Women and the Economy,” President Barack Obama said that after his two daughters were born, he and his wife—both Harvard Law School graduates—could not afford the “luxury” of having her stay home with the children.

In 2005, when Obama began serving in the U.S. Senate (and his daughters turned 4 and 7), he and his wife were earning a combined annual income of $479,062. Barack Obama was paid a salary of $162,100 by the U.S. taxpayers, and Michelle Obama was paid $316,962 to handle community affairs for the University of Chicago Medical Center.
