A Simple Question

Where in hell could a vehicle like this possibly be needed in America?  Take one look at this beast and then see if you can fathom it.  These are up armored combat troop carriers that were specifically designed and built for war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Where could they possibly be of use here in America.  Yet your department of homeland security has dispersed dozens if not hundreds of them to local law enforcement agencies across America. Combine that with the fact that homeland security is buying up ammunition by the billions of rounds for both domestic and military calibers and the people of America had better wake up and smell the coffee.

For the record, this vehicle costs approximately 1.5 million of your tax dollars to produce and it is capable of taking direct hits from rocket propelled grenades and IED's buried in the ground or along the road side. Common dangers in Afghanistan, but here in our streets?  What are they preparing for?  What are they planning?
