Bin Ladin's Distress?

There is something odd afoot IMO. On Friday the 22nd, the British government raised it's terrorist threat level to severe.

No explanation tendered. just simply raised it from substantial to severe. Which by virtue of vernacular is in my opinion a dramatic action.

Then on Saturday, the world receives it's latest epiphany form Osama Bin Ladin. Where he once again threatens and asserts his seeming approval and control over all things Al Qaida. And he of course accepts responsibility for the Christmas day bombing attempt in Detroit.

Now the odd part? Why has Matt Drudge been flying Bin Ladin's mug up side down as it's banner all day? Is there some subliminal message being sent? Or has Drudge been directed by other forces at play, to utilize his banner as a message to either Bin Ladin himself or the rest of the world.

Much was speculated over the weekend concerning Bin Ladin's tone and his use of similar words and phases in this latest communique. But little has been noted as it concerns a major global media outlet and it's decision to portray the most wanted terrorist on the planet, in a fashion that is surely going to cause speculation at the least.

Personally, I don't think that Bin Ladin is the only one sending coded messages in the open in the media.
