This is a screw up

Christmas incident was "screw up" - Obama said

"This was a screw up that could have been disastrous," the president said during a meeting in the White House situation room, according to the White House media office. "We dodged a bullet but just barely. It was averted by brave individuals not because the system worked and that is not acceptable. While there will be a tendency for finger pointing, I will not tolerate it."

Yes ladies and gentlemen......this is a screw up. A screw up of monumental proportion. Problem is, our screw up is in charge and he is continuing to screw things up.

Anyone that believes that the Christmas day terrorist attack was something that was either random or simply the result of a comedy of errors, is only kidding themselves or hoping that those with good sense don't take a closer look at the facts. The fact that the president yesterday chastised his national security staff and admonished that he didn't want to see any finger pointing is laughable in my opinion. It's not like anyone present or occupying one of these positions of national responsibility, is actually going to point their finger in the direction where it belongs.

The Christmas day attack on this country was the culmination of the reactions and policies of this president and there will be more attacks as a result of his amateur and glib approach to the threats that confront this contry. The systematic dismantling of everything that has kept this nation safe for the past eight years, is at the root cause of what has occurred and what will occur in the future.

So trying to point the fingers anywhere other than where they belong is both disingenuous and nothing more than a ploy designed to cover and disguise this president's culpability and responsibility.

Therefore, as I realize that those members of the national security council will not acknowledge where the responsibility lies, I will do what they won't do. I will point a finger and assign a name to the responsibility for this attack. And I will acknowledge that we lost seven more Americans last week in Afghanistan due to the incompetence and arrogance of this administration and I knew one of those who lost there life. So I will point the finger of responsibility where it belongs. I will point my finger mr. president and soon there will be many million like me.

The responsibility for the attack rests squarely with this administration and this president. And to attempt to say that it doesn't and the attempt to portray it in a fashion that places blame elsewhere is simply wrong and a lie.

It has been said that you can fool some of the people all of the time, but not all of them all of the time. And I don't think that anyone has been fooled by the White House's purposeful ruse and continued misrepresentations of reality.
