The Vichy French Call It An Occupation

US accused of 'occupying' Haiti as troops flood in

France accused the US of "occupying" Haiti on Monday as thousands of American troops flooded into the country to take charge of aid efforts and security.

There is nothing quite as amazing as watching the Vichy socialist leaders of France pointing fingers at America. It was laughable yesterday to read where the little tin man of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, was calling the America aid effort in Haiti a military occupation by stealth.

But now we have the French throwing their two cents worth in and acting as if they have better and superior skills and abilities to rescue these squalid survivors of a country that was already a hell hole before this disaster.

Under normal circumstances, I would say "fine, pack our people up and get the hell out. Let the French and the likes of Hugo Chavez and the Cubans handle the rescue and recovery of Haiti. But reality doesn't allow those of us with conscience to indulge our anger at the expense and suffering of others.

Therefore, I suggest that once the crisis has been brought under control and some semblance of order restored, that we then step back and allow the socialist leaders of the world to show America how it is done.

But that won't happen, not for the least of reasons being that our present regime in Washington is in full court press to exploit this "good crisis" (as Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod) noted previously.

If Hugo Chavez and the French are wondering why the US Marines have been sent in to Haiti?

Let them have a look around.

Then Shut the F*** up.
