$200 Million a day and we are paying for it. (UPDATED)

Somewhere in all the media coverage of the midterm elections this week, the president's Mubai India trip got lost in all the background chatter of who lost and who won the house.

The bottom line....earlier in the week it was posted that this trip will cost the American taxpayer $200 million a day. For a three day trip, that's $600 million being spent, so that the president can visit India and carry on with his proven failed international policies.

The regime's entourage will take up the entire Taj hotel in Mubai, over 800 rooms. And there are forty limousines and support vehicles accompanying the presidential visit. And an estimated 3000 cast and crew to service the presidential entourage.

Not including this....

34 warships sent from US for Obama visit

"He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea."

Go ahead, read the entire report, there is no mistake and no typo there. The man has requisitioned an entire US NAVY Carrier battle group and more, just to stand off the coast while he is in India. Then read of the 3000 White House staff he is taking with him, including the part about his newest addition, his new Lincoln limousine. I wonder what happened to the Cadillac limo.... The war wagon as it was dubbed that was delivered just in time for the Obama regime to accept receipt of it in January 2009. And yet now we are hearing reports of his new Lincoln limousine?

The Secret Service commissions one every four years to be built for the president, but the last Lincoln limo in presidential inventory, was used by Ronald Reagan. So either this is Obama's new million dollar 'midterm Lincoln presidential limo?' Or he is going to be riding around in the thirty year old Reagan Lincoln of old. Do the math, I don't think the latter is a possibility.

Yeah, the people were just upset about the economy weren't they mr. president. Never mind that between you and your wife, you have spent the people's money on yourselves at a mind boggling rate since day one. From one night dates to New York restaurants for Michelle's birthday to repeated vacations including European trips.

Never mind that while millions of Americans are out of work, you have played golf almost every week and Michelle has been on luxurious vacations to Europe and regularly taken the kids on other trips.

You aer right mr. president, the American people didn't just repudiate you and your policies at the ballot boxes on Tuesday, it must have just been the economy that they were/are pissed about. Whether you are willing to accept the reality or not mr. president, it wasn't all about the economy on Tuesday. In your closed little elitist world, you apparently believe that no one really cares how much money you blow on your own dalliances at the expense of the American taxpayer, much less the wasted billions of your stimulous package and the taxpayer funded payola you have made to the unions.

You must honestly believe that no one cares that you are spending $200 million a day on this trip to gallivant around lndia like a visiting emperor, while millions of Americans continue to try to find jobs, pay bills and continue to try and not lose their homes.

So enjoy yourself and your limited time left in office mr. president, the people are watching and there will be a reckoning. Tuesday was only the beginning..

By Contrast.....

U.K.'s Cameron, Pinching Pennies, Goes Commercial

U.S. politicians may dream of one day sinking into the presidential bed aboard Air Force One. David Cameron, returning last night from his first trip to the U.S. as British prime minister, took a business-class seat on board a scheduled British Airways flight.

Cameron, trying to cut Britain’s deficit, its largest since World War II, is scaling back on the chartered jets his predecessors used for overseas travel and told his staff to book him on regular flights. Yesterday he traveled to New York from Washington on Amtrak’s Acela train.

“We have got a lot of money to save,” the prime minister told ABC News July 20. “We’ve got a very big budget deficit, so we can’t go spending money on executive planes, sadly.”

Reminds me of "Animal Farm." That and the Czars. Those little puppies that were raised in secret to enforce the policies of the new Farmer Jones in disguise.
