America Needs Health Care Now!

McDonald's Posts Strong Profit, Predicts Solid Sales

Yep, America needs health care alright. And if these trends continue? it will be sooner than later. and it looks like the only possible end to the present McDonald's Juggernaut? Might be the "cholesterol footprint" tax.

The Obama administration is literally seething to get taxes passed on sugary sodas, but they may be missing the bigger picture and the larger goose to be had. While worrying about carbon footprints and how to save the planet? They should be looking at the cholesterol footprint in America and the for sure costs of health care in the future, if these trends prevail.

Forget about sugary sodas and pay attention top the big Mac and the present bill of fair in McDonald's land. Times are hard, the
recession isn't easing and unemployment continues to rise. so the people are flocking to comfort food and the old standbys.

Never mind that McDonald's is the nation's largest purveyor of fat, carbs and simple carb sugars. They are meeting a need and the people are responding. And before long? Their blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood sugar level will reflect the maddening rush to the Golden Arches.

I say pass the health care reform and guarantee bill now, while we still have the chance and these millions of tubbies and future tubbies can still waddle to the voting booth. Or else there will come a day when they will no longer be the fattened tax cows that t
hey are becoming presently. And the bill will come due for their obesity and diabetes and heart disease.

Then who will pay? Ronald McDonald?

The current health care bill on the floor would give the federal government the ability to raise folks health care rates 50% for eating at MikiDee's.

A bureaucrat with the authority to raise health insurance premiums on American citizens, citizens forced by law to submit to the federal health standards...

This entire legislation and discussion is unconstitutional.

Pure and simple.
