Most Americans know what religion is and what is represented by the various faiths, the same as most Americans know what media spin is when they see it. To see these either practiced so lamely by this administration is appalling to say the least IMO.
This simple facts:
If you are born a Christian to a Christian father and mother? Then you are a Christian. The same for Jews and Muslims. The only thing that changes those realities are the actions of the child as he/she progresses through life.
And as Franklin Graham has duly noted.......
The Rev. Franklin Graham Says President Obama was 'Born a Muslim'
On the heels of a new poll suggesting that nearly one in five Americans incorrectly believes that President Obama is a Muslim, one of the nation's most prominent evangelical leaders has weighed in with a seemingly lukewarm endorsement of the president's Christian faith.
So.....nearly one in five Americans 'incorrectly' believes? What is it that they incorrectly believe? Is it the fact that they don't accept the media spin and they choose to believe their own eyes and their own knowledge and education on the subject? Personally I opt for the latter myself and seeing as I am one of the incorrect twenty percent, I believe that I can clearly see and understand everyone else's perspectives on the matter.
It's not that my facts are wrong, it's simply that I choose not to drink the revisionist Kool Aid and I choose not to buy into the heresy represented as truth by the White House and the media. The other facts in the matter are pretty clear cut to me also.
Not only was Barack Hussein Obama born a Muslim to a Muslim father and to a converted Muslim mother, but he was raised and educated in that faith as a boy by both his mother and his step father. Therefore, by the canons of the Islamic faith, Barack Obama is a Muslim and that is why the Muslim world views him as one of their own. They know this to be true just as assuredly as Barack Obama knows this and just as assuredly as any clear thinking American familiar with the faith and it's practices knows this.
But there is the sticky part of his supposed Christian observances and membership in the revered prophet the honorable reverend Jeremiah Wright's church for twenty years. I suspect as many other clear thinking but wrong Americans do on this topic, that the real Muslim world in the middle east? Well they are just giving their Muslim brother a hall pass on his presence commentaries and indulgences. As any 'right thinking' Muslim knows, those who are born into Islam and practice it, then subsequently abandon the faith? Well they become apostates and under Sharia law they are to be put to death. Along with any other infidels that a true peace loving Muslim might encounter.
So don't look upon Barack Hussein Obama as a Muslim. Look upon him rather as a 'born again Muslim.' A Muslim born to the faith of Muslim blood and Muslim father. As one who learned the Koran and the Muslim prayers as a boy and who can still recite them and has referred to them as a beautiful sound. Look upon him as a man who supposedly abandoned that faith and supposedly embraced Christianity, yet is allowed to slip effortlessly between the two worlds and operate in both.
Look again at Franklin Graham's worlds
The Rev. Franklin Graham waded into the discussion with his own controversial explanation of why people wrongly believe the president is a Muslim. Graham, who prayed with Obama in a session with his father, Billy Graham, earlier this year, was asked whether he has any doubts about Obama's self-avowed Christian faith. And besides, when the controversy arose again last week in the media, a White House spokesman quickly put aside all fears by pointing out that the president was most definitely a Christian. And the proof was in the fact that he prayed everyday.
"I think the president's problem is that he was born a Muslim, his father was a Muslim. The seed of Islam is passed through the father like the seed of Judaism is passed through the mother. He was born a Muslim, his father gave him an Islamic name," Graham told CNN's
A comforting thought I must admit, but i have one question. Where is it exactly that this president does his praying? It strikes me? that he has spent more time chasing golf balls around since he took office , than he has spent on bended knee. But then again, that's just me. After all....I am a product of my environment and I tend to watch and believe what I see represented and repeated.
So I guess if I were to ever run into the president on the off chance? I should probably just say "Whasup Bro? and bless you!"
Maybe not. Maybe I will stick with what I know will work.
As-Salāmu `Alaykum!
