Dr. Laura to end her radio show
It is interesting to me, to see a woman doing what many men in this country are afraid to do. Which is to confront the realities of race and media and call both out for what they are and how they are being portrayed in this country.
Most white people don't even realize or consider how marginalized they have become as a result of the race pimps and the true racist in America. As Dr. Laura recently discovered, once again, it is alright for blacks to say what they please concerning their free use of words and terms of slang toward their own. But let one white person even broach the topic during an academic discussion of race? And suddenly they are a racist for even having uttered the word.
We all know the word in question and we all know how anyone is immediately demonized for even pronouncing it, much less attempting to discuss it. Such was the case with Dr. Laura last week. She found herself buried beneath the avalanche of racism that was heaped upon her for having had the audacity to mention the word during an academic discussion.
A couple of months ago, Nancy Pelosi was caught in one of her many gaffes concerning religion and her own personal perspectives concerning religion. Watching the woman attempting to speak as if she has anything more than passing familiarity with God's word or the bible was interesting to say the least. But when she began her disertation concerning the "word" and how the "word" became flesh? Well that was truly amazing.
And her representations immediately drew me to another reality present in our world today as it concerns words. Dr. Laura is the most recent victim of the modern day usage of words. The irony that exists in her victimization is obvious. Not only can we not speak of God's word openly in this country, without fear of excoriating condemnation by media and the thought police, but we must also be mindful to never speak of the equally horrific taboo of mentioning the racially unmentionable.
So Dr. Laura has now experienced the fire of race hate and as a result, she has decided to step down and step aside. But at least she has the fortitude to explain why.
I am sure that she will go on to continue in some format and she will continue to write books and offer advice to those who ask, but she has made a conscience decision to call full stop and walk away due to her victimization by race in America and I say good for her. It's time more white Americans stood up and stood their ground and challenged the fallacy and industry of race in America for precisely what it is.
