The last Alamo

When will America take a stand? When will Americans finally stand up and say enough is enough? In our past, there have been many instances of united we stand, but as each day passes now, I see more and more of twilight's last gleaming, than I do of the broad stripes and bright stars.

Wake up America. Your country is under attack and your heritage and future are being stolen away from you by those cloaked in the guises of Americanism as represented by those who truly hate and despise this nation.

Houston and Crockett and Bowie knew what it was like to fight for a cause, albeit a lost cause at the time, they went on to inspire a nation and to send invaders back to whence they came. These men knew who their enemies were, as they equally knew that fate and future rested squarely on their shoulders.

We need more like Crockett and Bowie and Houston. And a few more like Adams and Jefferson and Franklin. It is said that time waits for no man, that blows must be struck while the metal is hot. How much hotter need be the season of discontent in this nation, before the people once again begin to practice "united we stand" and rise up to preserve that which has been bled and died for.

This man and his party are systematically and methodically dismantling and destroying everything that represents the character of this nation, its heritage, it's faith and it's institutions. And as we speak, he is unabashedly coming after our faith and attempting to replace it with the egalitarian lies of equality and fairness and the greater lie of social tolerance and the supposed moderate Muslim view.

Have a look at how the religion of peace practices their love and tolerance and you will see what is in store for this nation and any other that fails to heed the warnings of history or the observed practices of the followers of Mohamed.

Some would have thought that the ghosts of seventy years ago would still be speaking clearing and standing as a warning to many generations to come, but we have lost our way and dimmed their visages to a point where they are made fun of by our enemies and no longer are allowed to speak their truth to our children.

Neville Chamberlain once waved a treaty in the face of his countrymen and smiled, only to realize very shortly that the man of the hour had risen and was marching to destroy and conquer the continent of Europe and all that lay across the channel to England.

A friend of mine often reminds me, that when dire hours approach, a man of the hour will arise and lead the people. My friend likens his analogy to men like FDR and Churchill. I hasten to remind my friend that the definition of leadership often rests squarely with who is holding the bayonet and who is being ordered to march. And that for every moment in history that has provided a Roosevelt or a Churchill? There was first a Hitler or Napoleon that caused the creation of such misery that good men had to rise and be accounted for.

Aside from the fact that our nations economy is worsening by the day and our national debt is literally staggering, there remains the reality that our foundations and our institutions are being destroyed one by one and that everything that represents the long term individuality and freedom of this nation is in jeopardy.

How much longer can this nation endure the crushing pressures of secular humanism and egalitarian socialism, before it collapses and the jackals and our enemies come to pick our bones and laugh at our fate by our own hands. America has gone in twenty short years, from having the upper hand, the respect and the leadership position in the world, to a place where we are mere foot steps away from becoming no more than footnotes in history.

How did this happen? It began with the attacks on the family and our institutions of higher learning. It took root in our schools and eventually the lies of tolerance were used to supplant the teachings of our faith and our churches began to falter and become the pulpits of deceit. It began when we cast aside Benjamin Franklin's warning and we began to trade freedom for supposed security. It happened when we began to accept the heretical and insidious lies of egalitarianism and the representations of achievable Nirvana through supposed fairness and the socialist equality of shared existence and government omnipresence.

Yes, great men like Churchill knew and recognized the dangers.

""
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."

We as a nation have gone from a time of self sufficiency, abundance and made in America, to a time when we owe our very existence and daily bread to the Chinese. Our industries and our manufacturing have fallen by the wayside due to over taxation and government regulation. Fair trade policies have become political trade imbalances and we as a nation now consume far more than we produce, as we owe far more than we can ever repay.

We have gone from being that shining city on a hill in the vision of Ronald Reagan, to being that indiscernible soon to be hovel amongst the flotsam of a global one world atheist existence.

Where does it end? Can we save ourselves? Or is it too late. Should we simply give up and accept the fate which we have allowed and created? Or should we stand up and fight and re-claim that which is ours by birth, right and heritage. The time is short. Decisions must be made and made soon. The enemies of this nation look upon us from afar and they exist among us now and their desires are our wanton destruction. The time of history to repeat itself is upon us. And all that we need ask ourselves is this..."When the time comes and the history pages are filled with the events of our present lives, will those pages be written by Americans and patriots? Those who stood and took back the reins and stopped the runaway course to oblivion?

Or will our fate be written by those who have conquered and destroyed that which has been the greatest culture and society to ever exist on the face of this planet.

Americans need to be asking themselves these questions, both now and as they go to the polls this fall. And they need to be seeking (demanding) accountability from their elected representatives now. Now before it is too late, now before these collaborators cloaked in the veils of progressive rhetoric can further their cause and further the defeat of this nation.

Now is the time to be thinking about the future. For once you have waited for the future to arrive, you will find yourself sitting squarely astride the past and wondering how it came to pass.
