A Dream Act? Dream on......

Those following the news of the last week may have noticed, that Senator Harry Reid, has sponsored no less than four separate attempts to have his "dream act" (legalizing illegal aliens legislation) rushed through congress before the present lame duck session recesses permanently.

Amazingly, the defense to this absurdity of legislation is being touted by democrats supporting it and carping about it in the media, as something exceedingly good for America.

The democrat talking points are these.

The dream act will only apply to illegals who were brought into this country by their parents and therefore, by no fault of their own have they violated the law. "We can deal with their parents later." Sure they can. Get the camel's nose under the tent sound familiar?

Secondly that the dream act will extend to illegals up to the age of twenty nine years old and this is good for America, as these are really working and contributing citizens. (I wonder what eliminating these illegals from our work force would do? To our now 9.8% unemployment rate.....

And the last democrat talking point, "that these illegals have been educated in this country," therefore, (and I love this part) "we have a lot of money invested in their education." (And we will invest more of our money by allowing them to attend our colleges free of charge also).

It's one thing to put lipstick on a pig? But to then stand there bold faced and declare that that same pig is a beautiful peacock is beyond laughable. But that is precisely what liberals do on a regular basis when hustling their twisted versions of egalitarian fairness.

The bottom line. the democrats are going to try and ram and slam and sneak and deal any and all levels of their agenda just as fast as they can before this congress expires and their majority ends. And the people of America need to be aware of their ploys and their deceit and their manipulative ways of always portraying themselves as the victims of failed fairness.
