A nation in crisis...

We all know how these democrats and this administration like crisis. Adn we all know how they love to exploit a crisis. Listen to this.

The ultra left wing (Pelosi wing) of the democrat party is literally 'off the hook' over Obama's compromise on extending the Bush tax cuts.

Read what is taking place in the rank and file of the democrat party as a result of Obama's announcement of the compromise on Tuesday.

Dems show signs of abandoning Obama elsewhere after frustration with tax deal

The have a look at some very astute political analysis By Peggy Noonan.

How far are we from angry liberals at the gates with torches and buckets of tar and feathers. This 'compromise' of Obama's can still easily go down the tubes and split the two parties into an irreparable stalemate that will carry into the new congress.

Make no mistake, the democrats are not the only ones livid over this deal. Bill Clinton was brought out yesterday to 'save the deal' with the liberal wing of the party. And yet, even as he was speaking from the press room of the White House, a democrat representative, continued to filibuster the bill on the floor of the house.

No, the democrats aren't happy in the least with this compromise, but neither are the conservatives of the republican party. Everyone continues to speak in terms of centrist, but the reality is, that as each party digs in and squares off, the middle ground of centrist becomes less and less inviting.

I am of the opinion, that regardless of whether this deal survives or not, the divisions presently existing in this country as it concerns political ideologies will continue to widen. This nation is too deeply divided over how we came to be where we are and how to fix it.

This deal that Obama has agreed to, may very likely cost him any hope of re-election, which is fine by me. But I have to wonder what we will be left with.

This may sound bizarre coming from a committed conservative, but Hillary Clinton is looking more and more to me, like the only person capable of putting the brakes on the now runaway train of American socialism.

I certainly don't see anyone on the horizon in the republican party, either capable of being elected in 2012, or capable of topping the progressive socialist Juggernaut that has now been unleashed on America.

The two people that come to my mind are Chris Christie of New Jersey, newly elected republican governor and Marko Rubio, newly elected senator from Florida. They are the only ones capable of bringing anything fresh to the table, or anything that has a snowball's chance of making it past the entrenched leftist media that will come gunning for the republican candidate, regardless of ho badly Obama wrecks the country.

Stay tuned next week, as this promises to be a memorable season IMO.

One knows when one is kind of missing Bill that things are really bad!

If Hil were in there we'd already have dealt with Iran... and they know it.
