No prayers at the WWII memorial

In a snap shot of the problem and those responsible, the sentence below says it all.

Obama Administration Opposes FDR Prayer at WWII Memorial

Republican lawmakers and conservative activists are expressing outrage after the Obama administration announced its objection to adding President Franklin Roosevelt's D-Day prayer to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Once again this president and his administration come down on the side of egalitarianism and the denial of our nation's founding history and basis in Christian faith. There are other quotes etched on this memorial and there are other quotes etched on the memorial by Franklin Roosevelt, but this particular quote is problematic. And it is a problem singularly because it is a prayer.

America had better awaken soon from their self induced stupor and willing acceptance of lies over truth, especially as it applies to their history and their rights as Americans. The Bill of Rights doesn't simply grant us the right of freedom of religion, it guarantees that right. As it also guarantees the individual right to redress grievances to our government and to speak freely.

Americans had better start exercising those rights as each day that passes sees more and more subtle walking back and erosion by government of those rights. They will tell us that it is for our own good, that it is in our best interest and that it is the price that must be paid for our security.

I am reminded of a thought and a truth pressed forth in the movie Braveheart to justify treasonous acts.  Princess Isabelle says: Peace is made in such ways. And William Wallace responds : Slaves are made in such ways.

America has become a slave to the egalitarian lies of supposed fairness and equality. All things and all people must be afforded all the blessings of life equally and when they aren't, it is some how unfair and a justification for state intervention. Therefore, in the egalitarian mindset, the world must be set upon it's ear and shaken violently until everything and everyone reaches an equilibrium of Nirvana and Utopian equality.

Unilateral peace and love and fairness will one day arrive in this world, but not because of anything any one man or any one nation did to cause it. It will arrive when the Prince of Peace returns to claim his kingdom on earth and not before.

God made it pretty clear at the Tower of Babel event, apart from God's power and intervention, man will be, and remain divided. All the efforts of man will prove to be ... vanity.
