Attorney General says congress to blame for Fast and Furious...

 So, let's recap....

The Attorney General gives the ATF carte blanche to violate the laws of states and the US constitution, in this administration's ongoing efforts to weaken if not destroy the second amendment. As such, the ATF launches an operation not to stop the flow of weapons into Mexico, but in fact to increase the flow of weapons into Mexico. In so doing, they apparently hope to bolster the leftist claims of a dire necessity to restrict and limit the US Constitution as it concerns the second amendment right to purchase and possess firearms.

And now that their partisan ploy has been revealed and the Attorney General who approved it and lied to congress about it has been called to testify again before congress, it is his intent to blame congress for failing to support the efforts of the ATF legislatively.
Equip ATP with the statutory tools it needs to be effective
Attorney General Eric Holder, under pressure over his department's handling of "Operation Fast and Furious," will say at the start of a Senate hearing Tuesday morning that Congress is not doing enough to support the agency responsible for the botched operation.
"The mistakes of 'Operation Fast and Furious,' serious though they were, should not deter or distract us from our critical mission to disrupt the dangerous flow of firearms along our Southwest border," Holder will tell the Senate Judiciary Committee, according to excerpts of his opening remarks released by the Justice Department.
Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have told Congress their agency "suffers from a lack of effective enforcement tools," and a "critical first step should be for congressional leaders to work with us to provide ATF with the resources and statutory tools it needs to be effective," Holder is expected to say.
