Mea Culpa, Not Part of The Liberal Vocabulary

Most of us have spent the past week watching and reading the ever expanding controversy surrounding president Obama's green czar and his more than colorful and checkered militant past.

Rational people have been questioning how an individual such as this, could have ever been considered for the position in the first place. Of course rational people have been questioning how this president can continue to skate around the constitutional provisions of advise and consent and what "we the people" continue to allow him to do it.

IMO it was only a matter of time before the doors on the bus opened once again and Obama gave Van Jones the "heave ho" under the wheels of the Obama Express. Much as he has had to do now with several of his mentors and close associates of the past twenty odd years.

But today's speed bump for the administration is interesting if for no other reason than, Mr. Jones while taking his own personal swan dive for the team, admits to absolutely no wrong doing what so ever. (I believe I see a pattern here).

Obama 'green jobs' adviser quits amid controversy

Having allowed the issue to languish into the Labor Day weekend, Van Jones suddenly throws in the towel this morning. (Truth be known with a significant push from Obama) But not until after he gets his parting shots in at those he obviously feels are the real racists responsible for his demise and fall from national prominence.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in his resignation statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

Jones said he has been "inundated with calls from across the political spectrum urging me to stay and fight."

But he said he cannot in good conscience ask his colleagues to spend time and energy defending or explaining his past.

Once again a black man in public office, involved in obviously inflammatory and racist remarks, asserts and alleges that the real root of his pain, misery and fall from grace is not via his own device and words, but rather as a result of those who would attempt to smear him unfairly.

And they have used no less than "lies and distortions" to smear him! So how is it exactly? That we are supposed to articulate and draw attention to the actions of a black man? Or are we simple suppose to ignore them?

I am always curious, just how is it that when an individual such as Van Jones is revealed by his own racist words? That all others who question are then portrayed as racist? And that somehow the portrayal becomes lies and distortions and racist in nature? How does that happen? Especially considering the origins of the statements and the intended context in which they were used.

Meanwhile, the fact that he could be seen actively engaged on those videos lashing out and assailing white people for his own perceived miseries and the miseries of black people in general? Well I guess that was just some form of surreptitious white mind control actually making him utter those statements. Some white man made him say those things that he now characterizes as being smeared by lies and half truths.

As a concerned American, all I can say concerning Mr. Jones is good riddance, but I am also forced to reflect on these other czars that president Obama has placed in high positions and given control over our money and our future. And in my opinion? Our newly elected president has an established track record and history of associating with militants and anti American socialists and those bent on the destruction of this country. And he has now (as is evidenced) placed many of them is key government positions. And he has done so by thwarting the constitution process of advise and consent.

To date.....Obama has an ever growing list of his thrown under the bus casualties, but there in lies not the danger IMO. The danger lies in those who remain and those who have been given the reins of power and control to influence regulation and legislation that will affect our lives for generations to com.

Make no mistake about it, the present health care bills and cap and trade bills being bantered around congress and re-morphed into new guises and facades daily? Those are not the creations of Barack Obama. Those are the creations of the shadow force of socialists that he has brought to Washington and installed now into all levels of our government. (Much like Van Jones).

And no different than Van Jones, they all have colorful "activist" histories when examined and scrutinized for their anarchist political leanings and their socialist ideologies. Van Jones is only the current example of what lurks at the surface of the Obama administration on all levels in my observation.

He brought these people to Washington to begin the systematic dismantling of America, and make no mistake, they are the same ones that propelled him from obscurity in Chicago machine politics to the presidency and the White House.

Van Jones is but the most recent example IMO. We already have one of these socialist interlopers now confirmed as a Supreme Court justice and given the time, there will be more who will be infiltrated into our government as they are now being positioned. And their mission is one of socialist simplicity. In short, they are here to wreck that which they have never understood and that which they have always hated about this country. (Individuality and personal freedom).

They are here to supplant all the prosperity and freedom that has been acquired over the past two hundred years and they are here to replace it all with a socialist school of shared misery and government controlled thought from cradle to grave.

Being it Obama's own brand of Fabian socialism, or the more direct version of the Marxists in this regime, none the less their objectives are plain and for all to see IMO.

And as seen today with Van Jones and his resignation, there are no apologies or mea cukpas from any of the lot now skulking the halls of the White House or the sundry fiefdoms now being controlled by his czars. Van Jones is just the most recent casualty and the most recent sacrifice for their collective greater good. The disease remains America and the excision of Van Jones will not heal us of the plague that has now gripped and infected America.
